IC: Taia Sal - Marching forwards

"Understood."

She raised the laser cannon and trained it forwards. All she needed was line of sight to see the stolen mechs...
IC: Taia Sal - Rightwards

"Do we have their last known location, at the very least?"
IC: Taia Sal - To the right, to the right

"Whatever works best. Alright Tiger Five, let's go. You take point, I'll support from afar. My Mech is...more equipped for long-range support, after all."

IC: Taia Sal - Drop

Dials, screens, readouts, ammo counts...Taia made careful note of everything. Of course, she always made sure to do after battle maintenance, but it was always wise to make sure everything was in working order.

Taia double checked to make sure her primary weapon was fully functional. Without it, she was effectively useless...so she always took extra care with it. And as always, the laser was in perfect working condition. She breathed out a sigh of relief. Sure, it hasn't failed her yet...but any mission could be her last.

"This is Tiger Two, reporting in. Shadowrend is ready to tangle."

She adjusted her controls, gripping the bulk of the massive laser in her Mech's free hand. She had to be able to move it at a moments notice, after all. Moving that amount of weight with only one arm on such a light Mech? Ridiculous.
IC: Taia Sal - Whee, descent!

Taia sighed. "There's no way there'd be some...unequivocally evil ponce just traipsing about. If there was, they probably wouldn't sicc a merc force on them."
IC: Taia Sal - A bumpy ride
"Gotta save as much money as possible, huh? Bet these people didn't even want to shell out the extra money on something to actually stop people from stealing these Mechs..." Taia grumbled. "Never liked that. You'd think they'd try to minimize long term losses but nooo. Only short term."
IC: Taia Sal - Takeoff imminent.

"Sorry for not chiming in earlier. Eh. We'll be going soon...hopefully we'll know whether to keep things intact or not before we engage. I need to know where to aim, after all."
IC: Taia Sal - Strapped in and ready to go

"Tiger Two, reporting in," Taia finally said over comms. "Didn't want to interrupt your...uh, important conversation."
IC: Taia Sal - Exiting Briefing

Taia exited the room without another word. Hopefully the prisoners wouldn't prove too troublesome...especially given the terrain. It would be difficult for her to land a proper shot, but she would have plenty of cover at least.

She walked down the hall, running through what might happen. The stolen Mechs likely wouldn't be piloted very well - unfamiliar technology and freshly escaped convicts was a recipe for poor performance. Heavy weaponry was unlikely as well, meaning most would focus on mobility over directly engaging...given the terrain, they also would be more likely to perform more hit-and-run tactics... Taia thought to herself, finger to her chin and eyes focused ahead. She was lost in her own little world, trying to figure out what was going to likely happen.
IC - Taia Sal - Briefing Room

The catfolk examined the map, and nodded.

"Alright, so long as we aren't dropped too close to them...I should be capable of supporting from afar. Even if the trees are thick, it should be easy enough to hit 'em."
