"Me too. Brings a tear to my eye," Adam jokes, pretending to wipe his eye. He then turns and gives Leila a look. "A nibble won't hurt, right? Even if I'm mortal?"
"It shouldn't. Your 'Sadie Kane' had some and didn't die, but that might've just been luck."
"Ah, what the hell," he says, taking a minuscule bite. His eyes widen and he spins around to Jacob. "You have to try this. Shit somehow tastes like my mom's chocolate caliente."

Adam laughs and puts pressure on his nose to stop the blood dripping down his face. "We just ate, but I agree. Some food sounds pretty good right about now."

Leila strolls over. "You up to try some ambrosia now?"

Adam recoils and stumbles backwards, his own combat avatar dissipating as he falls on his ass. He sits there, panting, for a bit before standing and offering Jacob a hand up. "Good fight, man. Shame about that 'right person' thing or whatever."

Nose bloody, Adam hooks his leg around Jacob's and locks his hand next to his head. "How charming," he quips, shoving Jacob up and onto his side. He staggers to a stand and wipes his nose. "It's a wonder you're still single."

Adam's avatar slams down onto Jacob's. Adam's eyes widen, then he wiggles his eyebrows. "Scandalous," he pants, then slams an elbow into Jacob's gut.

Adam grins and giggles a high, unnerving laugh that he physically shouldn't be able to produce. "See ya later, alligator!" The spell breaks as he brings the khopesh down on Jacob's avatar khopesh-wielding arm.

Adam blocks the swing but falls backwards with the kick. He recovers and yells, "Hu-ai," drawing the symbol and dashing towards Jacob.
