"N'dah!" Adam roars as he scrawls the hieroglyph into the air before himself. He tucks the wand into his waistband as he jumps through the flames and lunges at Jacob, swinging his khopesh towards his shoulder.
The water slams into Adam, and, as he's pushed backwards, he also shifts back into human form. He spins the left-handed khopesh and it melts into a wand. He points it at Jacob and writes a hieroglyph, yelling, "Sa-per!" Jacob's vision blurs, and the weapon in his hand becomes strange and disconnected.
Adam stumbles back but quickly recovers, shifting into a very strange calf. Its pure white hide is off-set by too-long legs and a narrow, almost gaunt, face. Teal eyes seem to literally burn in the sockets, and wickedly curved horns point forward as it lowers its head and charges the crocodile.
Adam falls and uses his momentum to roll and spring upright. He lunges forward and hooks the blunt edge of one khopesh behind Jacob's leg and pulls, simultaneously raising the other to defend against a strike.
Will you use my full power now, child? Adam smiles. Depends on if he uses his, duende. For now though, no. You're no fun. He rolls his eyes. I can practically feel you pouting, Ihy. Adam stalks out into the center of the arena, drawing twin khopeshes from the Duat. "You ready to dance, gator boy?" Adam mocks, curling a hand at him to gesture him closer.
"I'll make sure they don't," Leila calls as she stands and follows them. Adam leads the way to the training arena, an enclosed space the size of a football stadium.
