I'M A DE ROLO, APPARENTLY. O_O As in, I found out I have another sister who's like 10 now. Named Cassandra. Now I'm Alice von Ermineskaya Kowalski de Rolo III.

1. It has been at least 3 years since guildfall. It does not feel that long. 2. Just need to confirm stuff and I can move. 3. My sister is officially a model. Plus, she has an interview today.

Five Open Legend games, soon to be six. Three D&D games, soon to be two. A Numenera game that's been going since before Numenera went public. Probably enough for now. -nodnod-

I guess playing as a Drow Noble is out? ^~^ (This is not a serious question. Going to outright say that. 41RP is a pretty significant power level increase).

Looking over my HUGE COLLECTION OF CHARACTERS (this is no exaggeration or overstatement) to see if I have anything more acceptable that doesn't require learning a new ruleset (or that doesn't require learning TOO much). Unless our new GM is more amenable, of course. In which case I'll play as a Stalker or something less...power-level-morally-grey.
(For reference, I was not the friend mentioned by Lucius Cypher, to the best of my knowledge)

Also, while I was making a mystic, there are some rules issues I'm uncomfortable with (specifically no stated limit on maximum animus, making nonstop Blade Meditation not only viable, but BAAF (after 3 turns of using maneuvers without augmenting them with Wis 18, at level 1, blade meditation does 6d6 damage of your active element's damage to anything that attacks you, and that goes up every turn, if not every other turn, assuming you don't use animus and use swift action maneuvers (there's a great one to make an attack at a -2 penalty...and pretty sure you can move during blade meditation (even though it's a full round action), if it's anything like the other recovery methods.)

So I'll PROBABLY stay Harbinger or go Stalker. Assuming our GM is cool with them. Because I'm too bored with other melee (not much they can do but hit things) and casters are too OP (better used NOT hitting things even during combat). Or could go Aegis and just do ALL THE THINGS (except spellcasting, and not as well as others).

Edit: I need to type faster.
Maneuvers aren't any more powerful than spells (often less so at the same levels, with less versatility and power, and without a LOT of combat, less USE overall). I could go with one of the archetypes for another class, so fewer maneuvers and lower maneuver levels, if that helps. Only go up to level 6 maneuvers, and get a lot less.
Will say it's a lot to learn, but it's a lot easier when it's not all LONG FORM. Pretty intimidating. I actually hated Path of War content at first. Just like Shadowrun. ^~^ Now they're my favorites.

Err...edit2: I'm sure I could play a sorcerer just fine...:/ I know PoW's a lot to learn. And I guess Crimson Countess isn't exactly the best example of "PoW is weaker than magic"...
@RBYDark OMFG for someone I totally considered dating at one point (that didn't go so well, but at the same time went the best way it could; long story, not saying more), he takes FOREVER to reply to me on Skype or Discord. >< (Well, I take forever to reply on Discord, too, so not going to count that part against him). Anyway, no answer yet on whether he'll run this. And still not TOO hopeful he will; pretty sure he's running another one already, and as someone running (about to run?) two PF games myself, I understand if he says no (and that's also why I'm not offering; I've also never run PF before ^//^ And D&D was only on 2E when I DM'd it. Most of the other games I GM are...well, they have less convoluted rules or focus less on combat (itself something that I'd prefer)), but he's a good GM and if he says yes, this RP will be well taken-care-of in your absence.

Wow. That all kinda came out at once. <.<
I wish I did, now. >< Sucks to have to do that. Similar stuff for me a lot recently (with mum and girlfriend), so if you need to talk or anything, I can. Because, you know, I have to try to SOUND helpful.

(Also, trying to get someone to do it, but not high hopes or anything)
Harbinger is closer to super edgelord magus. Semi-monk (and semi-rogue) would be Stalker. Monk comment was about personality and look.

Edit: Oh no, I breakeded it. ;~;
Edit2: Sigh. I really don't want to play a Harbinger. I'd rather play a Mystic. But they take so much extra work, what with their randomly determined abilities EVERY TURN. (Which is also why I like them, coincidentally. Well, that, and their abilities are exactly like Weiss Schnee, with glyphs and elemental weapons and everything). I'll still play a Harbinger, since I made this character and everything, and they're less complicated.
(Mystics are also closer to mages, as close as one can get without playing one. And I like mages. And then we wouldn't have so many warrior types. OR I could go Stalker and be the rogue type we need. Linked them in case you would prefer ones that don't make optimizations-sensitive GMs uncomfortable.)
Edit3: Strongly leaning to Mystic.
Zhu Li, a human harbinger who's basically a monk except in combat.
The notes section has all this, but I'll post it here, too, since it's easier to click than copypasta so much:
I'll leave links to the pages in the notes on mine if that helps~ It's all on the d20pfsrd site. Nice and easy to find. I've already almost finished the character (because it was a "just in case" thing; would have made her regardless of whether you said yes). You can look it over and read stuff and I'll make it nice and easy for you~ Actually deliberately picked one of the Path of War classes that's less complicated for that very reason. Going human for race, so that's nice and easy. ^~^

Path of War stuff is basically the same thing as divine casting, just instead of a holy symbol (which mine has anyway), you have to use a certain weapon. Stances work just like the style feats.

But if you want, I can go all Paizo stuff~
...could you use more than those 5? I would be very happy to assist. >.> Last time I tried this one, the group fell apart due to...differences of opinion. Still friends with most of them, though (just not the GM, though I dun remember the GM, so may be now?). And I already like Grey. <.< Dunno if the feeling is mutual, though. ^//^

Then again, I'm not entirely sure what's allowed (especially in terms of third party stuff, but if I say I tend to like anything by Dreamscarred Press, would that help? Specifically Path of War stuffs, which tends to be on the same level as the Paladin in terms of power and versatility)...and I'm saying a lot of stuff for a new GM to take in, AND I'm saying this without even knowing if it's open for new people. ><
Good. Be adorable like me and you should be fine~
PMing people you think are potentially awesome works for setting up 1x1s, too. Sometimes. As long as you're not super creepy about it. Which can totally happen.
