If you like all of the necessary ingredients, pastry and all, why not just make the pie? So many questions.

Be my guest. What 3 exactly however? Also, a question. What's the policy on introducing major NPCs (for example, in my case, new incarnations of the next set of Weapons from the Weapon Plus program) that have powers and the like? Basically our rogue gallery?

I think it's a matter of interpretation. You've got to wonder whether anyone would actually play the character. With DC games it's a little harder to judge because the Villains are just as interesting to play as Heroes. Possibly even more so, in fact. Here however, there's a definite hero bias. I mean, other than Magneto, Doom or a few of the Spider-Man villains, we're not really spoilt for choice. I suggest you weigh the magnitude and the range of the characters you propose to NPC. For example: I'm probably going to be NPCing Ultron. He's big in terms of significance, but is largely just a plot device.

Were there any specific experimentees you were planning on? Wolverine's probably (definitely) out of the question, but I'd say everyone else would be fine.

Edit: The three before you mentioned Howie.

Well that's the good thing about this roleplay. As long as it doesn't upset the other player's characters (or the players themselves) and isn't entirely batshit insane, you can take any character you like and reinvent them to the point where they only vaguely resemble the old version or are only even related in name only. Look at Bryd Man's Punisher or Jonesie's Captain America. It allows you to completely reimagine characters the way you want. Which has just given me a great idea for a Howard the Duck CS...................

Deathstroke's actually a (semi) returning player. I don't think that could do him any harm though.

Regardless, I am going to have to steal the above three sentences.

Sorry for the delay in posting, exams have been on and off the last few days and I've been posting in my downtime. So 1st of all, awesome that I've been accepted (though NightNotRunner, really?) Although now I'm really going to have to put my thinking cap on since I realized I've got a usually ride-along character standing up with the big leagues. Time to get the big boy pants....One thing I've noticed is a lack of villian-esqe characters from those who aren't the almighty GM or affiliated closely with. Now I have on my CS that he's WTL but I'm happy to start out a villainous Deadpool and work my way through the villain-anti hero-hero-U turn kinda arc (It's what I was going for anyway) with any other player who want someone to fight. I know that NPC rogue galleries are available to people but I found that having an organic enemy that will test you since you don't know what they'll do next (especially in Deadpool's case) makes one a better thinker and therefore a better writer. I put this forward to Byrd and especially MrJonesJr, since my 1st notable arc involves SHIELD. ANd Gowi, maybe Kraven and Wilson could tango if he's not busy washing his hair? If any of ye are interested, PM me.............why did that last line sound like a craiglist ad?

Yeh, sorry. I am planning to get two villains up sometime this week. It's just unfortunate that this week is proving to be really busy. But no, Doom and Ock are still on the cards. I may be able to get Mr. Lang up within an hour or so though, so lets cross them fingers.

Also, I count myself a little interested. Care to PM me as to what some of this entails?
Alright, as requested by Sep:

Name: Dow Teen
Age: 62
Gender: Male
Species: Kel Dor
Appearance(Text and/or Image):

Extra notes: The right arm is rolled up to half mast and pinned to cover Dow's painfully obvious stump. From his shoulder (left) hang various plaited pony tails (not his). He has taken to wearing a brace on his left forearm, similar to those worn during the middle stages of the clone wars by various Jedi.
Level: Knight
Class: Guardian
Force Abilities (backed up by Wookiepedia):
• Force Sense
• Telekinesis (Weak)
• Force Speed
• (Very) Basic Mind Trick
• Animal Friendship / Beast Control
• Battlemind
• Hibernation Trance

Non-Force Related Skills:
Dow is a highly adept fighter with practically unattainable levels of concentration and balance. While age and his disability have disadvantaged him somewhat, he still remains an exceptional fist-fighter (with unbridled emphasis on 'fist'). He has the ability to stay calm during unforeseen, possibly climactic circumstances, though his actions when presented with these aren't known to be particularly 'orthodox. An able forager and hunter (if necessary), he is equipped enough in mind, body and pouch to survive a good year without sentient contact. (Interestingly, he has never learnt or expressed the wish to learn to pilot a starfighter, finding the knowledges needed tedious and distracting.)

Lightsaber (hilt & Colour):

Dow's lightsaber has a green blade.

Known Lightsaber Forms:
• Form I (Shii-Cho) - He likely would have learnt this in his younger years but he can't remember much of it
• Form III (Soresu)
• Form IV (Ataru)
• Form V (Shien) - Primary form
• Form VII (Juyo) - Currently studying

+(Utilises the unorthodox reverse grip)

Other Equipment:
• 1x Antiox breathing mask
• 1x Hologram projector

History:
Dow Teen's life started at age three. At age three the Jedi took him away. From Dorin. From family. Into their arms. He had been tested for force potential some time before his life began, while he was still a child. One thing to note: no one trained and regimented by the Jedi stay a child for long.

As a padawan, Dow was restless and impulsive, more impressed by might than right. This drove his stoic, far wiser master, the Aqualish Master To Pakei away from him almost. He had been told that the pup could not be trained by man and had set in himself that he would persevere with him. Even teach him. In some ways, he did. At age nineteen, having had his trials pushed back due to a small conflict on Hoth that had quickly escalated, his master and he went on one last foray. Struck down by the sheer number of bounty hunters they opened their craft to, Pakei was felled. Dow, unable to strike down the lifeless creatures attempted to escape. He ran for his life. When the Jedi finally found him he was quiet and subdued. The restless pup was gone.

After passing the trials on his first attempt he began to accept missions on behalf of the Jedi and the Republic. His combat prowess grew and was hailed, but not rewarded and certainly not accepted. The council found him to be far more concentrated on the upkeep of his body and his form than of his connection to the force. In his mind however, the force worked through him when he performed a blow. He just steered. A very strange man.

Despite his violent nature and lack of basic force-wielding skills, he remained a compassionate and wise man, calm and collected, if not a little forcible and brash. He was never taken by rage or ferocity. His emotions were constantly in check. He had never felt seduced by the dark-side, despite his peers naming him a grey Jedi. It was hoped that he would find a padawan and that he would grow but he is yet to take one. This is not due to his effort however.

His connection to the force only lessened as the clone wars was begun, himself a far older man. On a campaign on Christophsis a lucky enemy got the best of him, cleaving his right arm off and leaving a cauterised stump. While he was not moved to revenge or hatred, the council deemed it best for him to spend the rest of the war at the temple, so best to learn. On the closing day of the war, he was sat in the Jedi archives. Following Vader's attack however, his location is anyone's guess.

'Row! Row! Ro--'
'...Row?' the other replied, snarkly.
'Eye front, Mr Lewis. Keep up. Your ma and pa know they raised a slouch?'

Death has a strange way of changing things. Opinions. Perspectives. Sure. The values we hold dearest to us. As soon as death becomes a tangible threat, as we are confronted with out own mortality, people begin to plan for the afterlife. They say that only two things are absolute. Lewis and Clark were living proof to the contrary.

'Back straight!'

A dying man might indeed dream of the afterlife. Their own little slice of heaven. They might even pray, might they? Be they god fearing like Clark, it comes with the territory. Some people don't. What can be certain is that Meriwether Lewis did not pray for this.

'We're done here...' He starts, taking his hand away from the apparatus and forcing a scowl. 'I'm not wasting anymore of my afterlife on a machine.'

Easier said than done. As Lewis pulls one leg off the side sharply, the other remains planted on the rowing machine. for it was not his own. And it was stuck. Stuck, with no amount of force shaking it.

'Sit your ass down,' Clark started, quietly. The taskmaster in his voice gone, now only contemplative judgement. 'We are not moving from this machine,' Clark states.

William Clark was a military man. Excuse the fact that he was drafted home on sick leave; he was brutal. He was assertive. He was not moving from that spot without good reason. It is for this reason that the two look at their watch so suddenly.

>>:"Attention. This is Mr. Roosevelt. There is to be a briefing in the conference room in ten minutes. Your presence is required.":<<

That could do it.

Alright. Well, glad to see you anyway.

Actually for curiousities sake, if I had stuck with it what would've happened then?

I'd have to have found a three sided coin?

No, in all seriousness though, yours was great but it would still have been a decision between those two. Sorry.

I haven't always had a good marvel based lore but I'm interested.

Who are you interested in? For the sake of my continued well being, can it please not include the word 'Spider', be Scott Lang or be densely intertwined with any of the already accepted characters (in a way that becomes restrictive of their vision). Also, don't copy and paste(?).

Please continue (vented).

Edit: I'm sorry, that was a little terse. This GM malarky's certainly different, isn't it...

How do you think I feel? I think I did too good a job convincing EE......

In all fairness, I just needed tipping either way. I'll stand by the fact that they're both thoroughly entertaining ideas and I wish that I didn't have to omit one from existence. However, I've commited myself to what I've said and it would be a very weak move for me to take this away from Rade and go back onto teetering mode. Rade has earned the spot, even though Nightrunner (also) earned it.

I also stick by the fact that an arena RP with these two would be fun to watch play out.
