I've been RPing on here on and off since I was 12 (fuck it's been awhile) on multiple accounts (I started this one when I was around 13), over that time, I've most certainly gotten better both as a writer and someone who's able to get into character. My favourite (and really only) types of RPs are NRPs because I feel like they play into my interests of politics, character creation, and historical contexts/world-building. My favourite settings are those stereotypical post-apocolypse dystopias that you would see the generic Young Adult book protagonist wander around, though I'm also open for Sci-Fi, Modern, and Historical settings. I'm not the biggest fan of Steampunk though, so it's slightly more difficult for me to get involved in those. When RPing, I prefer not to get involved into the stats side of things, as I'd much rather dive deep into the lore of both the setting I'm RPing with and the Characters/Nations I'm using for that RP in question. Now, for more about myself, I'm a massive fan of Music in general and a Singer. My favourite band changes what seems like weekly, though I'd say I'm a massive fan of Nine Inch Nails, Turnover, The Smashing Pumpkins, Foster The People, Weathers, and Smashmouth The Wombats. My favourite songs are probably Closer, by Nine Inch Nails, Knights of Cydonia, by Muse, BYOB, by System of a Down, Pumped up Kicks, by Foster The People and I Don't Wanna Know, by Weathers. My favourite games are NBA2k18 and Crusader Kings 2, though I'm also a fan of HOI4 (yay Kaiserreich) and EU4. Database of some RPs I've ran: Age of Rebirth (Post WW3) The original. Was a popular NRP for it's time but eventually died out. The Rise of Man (Fallout-like RP) The "sequel" to Age of Rebirth. Was quite interesting building off the history of an NRP that already happened to create a new one. Sollus Supremus (Dune-like Space Opera) I decided to venture out of my comfort zone a bit with this one, some really generic Space Opera. Age of Rebirth: The Rising Tide [Post-Apocolyptic NRP] Honestly my favourite one I've ever made, though that's most likely because I've become a better writer over the past 3 years, considering I'm no longer 13, like I was when I made Age of Rebirth.
Actually now that I think about it Africa is pretty empty. Can I claim Nigeria, Niger, Chad, Cameroon, Benin, Togo, Ghana, Cote D'Ivoire and Burkina Faso?
Someone else (don't feel like looking for it right now, I'm tired) claimed some of those countries. They said it on one of the early pages. I do think that everything other then Cote D'Ivoire and Burkina Faso are claimable though.
So from the apps I've seen now, Mexico is (probably) the strongest nation in North America, the former United States is divided, Europe and parts of the Middle East and Africa has been united by 4 nations (5 if you count Ethiopia as North Africa).

History of the Nation: From 2015 till the outbreak of the war, tensions between India and Pakistan continued to heat up until the mutual declaration of war, declared on January 23, 2030. An overreaction by Indian General S.K. Ramayathan reslted in India launching a nuclear missile towards Karachi, Pakistan replied in turn, sending Missiles to New Dehli, Mumbai and Bangalore. Both countries invaded eachother at different places on the border. In the past, Pakistan had traditionally invaded India through the relatively sparsely populated desert region of Rajasthan, as India invaded Pakistan's fertile Punjab province. However, in this conflict, the roles were reversed, with Pakistan invading Indian Punjab, and India invading through Rajasthan into Pakistan's Sindh province, with the intent of attacking Karachi. Pakistan had taken control of most of Indian Punjab and Kashmir in quick, blitzkrieg like maneuvers, but had to quickly stop their advance and hold the line, due to logistic problems, and being outnumbered by the Indians. The Indians reached Karachi, but became drawn into a Stalingrad-esque battle in the outskirts of the city, and eventually fell back to surround the city and starve its inhabitants and defenders into submission. While Pakistan could not advance any further, they were able to hold most of the territory they occupied, due to India funneling in troops in the attempt to take Karachi, and the increasingly confused and unorganized state of the Indian army, as a result of the nuclear strikes in the beginning of the conflict. As Pakistan's government too began to crumble, both countries unofficially decided to ceasefire. Pakistan moved troops away from the front line, and India retreated from the Indus river, allowing Karachi to be supplied. In the end, the war ended as a stalemate. Both countries laid in ruin, with only shells of infrastructure and ineffective governments.
Shah Alamgir II, born Alamgir Saeed Qurayshi, inspired the khaksar movement of the 1940’s, began a grassroots movement to firstly unite, then rebuild the two countries. A muslim, he appealed to the population of what was Pakistan, and the large Indian muslim minority, and his secularism appealed to the Hindus and Sikhs of India. After gaining power, unopposed, Shah Alamgir II began salvaging the infrastructure of the two countries, and advancing the new union past the point the countries were in before the war. Seeing the success of the union, and having linguistic,religious, and cultural ties with the union, smaller south asian countries appealed to join the South Asian Union. First Bangladesh, succeeded by Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives and lastly Bhutan.
