The Beginning (Where your story begins):
This story begins on a planet called Atlantis. The planet is covered with more water than even earth and its capital is in fact built on the surface of one of its massive oceans. I won’t go into too much detail about Atlantis except with a few facts. Atlantis having large bodies of water makes it one of the largest fish exporters in its system. Although despite the lack of land and materials they have managed to build fascinating cities whose technology is completely based on hydro and solar power. Making the planet very healthy and in fact the inhabitants decided to move towards a much healthier way of life. They stay away from pollutants and encourage the use of healthier foods, such as fish and fruits. That is enough information about the planet for now. This story only starts here at the heart of Atlantis. Its capital called Solstice.
We start this part of the story with a man. A man named Daniel, whose job was woven into the royal guard. Daniel was actually its head captain, making him a very important person. However, such a job had its risks, like attacks on the royal family. The worse risk though was falling to close for one of the members of the royal family. In his case happened to be one of the three daughters. Her name was Monaco. She was average sized with a body in good shape and had short blonde hair. She carried with her a bright gold colored set of eyes that made her even more desirable, that and the fact that Daniel and Monaco practically grew up together. Right now Daniel was spending his time scouring the royal halls of the capital building looking for that specific girl. His job was to make sure she was in good hands and well protected. Enemies of Atlantis only needed to do one thing and that was kidnap one of the daughters and hold her for ransom. Daniel was here to prevent that. He only had one last place to check and when he reached the place he saw her. She was wearing a mantled robe with a color scheme of white with a trim of red. When she turned to see who was approaching she smiled. “I can’t hide from you too long can I?” She said jokingly. He sighed crossing his arms and raised a brow.
“Well there are only a number of places you could be, you were always a sucker for the sights the city provided.” He answered and she had to nod in agreement. “Well at least it seems like it’s going to be one of those good days.” He added and he moved to join her and he glanced about the city. He did enjoy how the sun’s rays would reflect on the limestone of the buildings and roadways. It gave a shine to it like no other. “Anything interesting happen sense I last saw you?” He asked as he looked over at her and she shrugged.
“Not really, father sent another man for me to look over. I don’t know what he sees in these men.” She answered. Daniel had to chuckle for he couldn’t agree more. These men were not really something to gawk at. Then again, neither was he. He sighed and looked up at the clouds and suddenly he could swear something gave off a shine. He thought it was just a cargo ship or something delivering a shipment, but as it came more into view he got a feeling it was not cargo ship. He brought his hand down and grabbed his binoculars and brought them up and what he saw, he did not enjoy. What he got was the emblem of the Zeal Empire. Atlantis was not an ally to the Empire and this was likely not going to be good, especially when he started to see more silhouettes of the same shape. What was worse was that more popped up of different sizes. This was no greeting or attempt to bring in their planet into their regime…. This was an invasion. The fighter that he first spotted was closer now and was gunning for them. He knew it for it was heading right for them. He tossed the binoculars and grabbed Monaco and pulled her inside just in time to get tossed to the ground by the blast as the fighter’s weapons separated the balcony from the royal house. He rose up quickly helping her up. “This isn’t good Monaco, we need to get to a safe place and fast.”

“Sergeant Wilkans, we want the royal family alive for capture, not dead.” The fighter pilot heard ringing into his headset. “Yes sir, I was just forcing them inside for the landing party to get after them.” He answered. The pilot then proceeded to bank his fighter and go for another run, this time aimed at the people down in the market area. Other fighters were doing much the same, while the drop ships came down crashing through the roofs of houses and buildings. What came out of the drop ships where a squad of Zeal Soldiers led by a battle suit. The Battle suits were powerful, armed with a twenty inch long auto-canon and a gauntlet big enough to fit a whole man’s head with its palm. They were tasked with one mission and one mission only… to kill everyone they saw outside the royal palace of Solstice. Those inside the palace were to be taken in alive if possible but the royal families were most certainly high on the list of capturing. The pace in which the zeal soldiers moved through the city was astounding. What resistance they meet died where it began rather quickly and effectively. They lost hardly any casualties. In no time at all did the assault on the capital building start, or royal palace.
Daniel found himself in a good sized room positioned behind a desk while Princess Monaco hid under it. They were accompanied by ten royal guardsmen armed with high powered rifles that could kill the common zeal soldier easily. The biggest threats though were the battle suits. They could hear the fire of blaster rifles and explosions within as well as feel the dust from the ceiling coming down on them as a result. Then running past the door was one of the servants. A woman by the looks of it but before she could get to safety she was riddle with gun fire from the auto-canon of a battle suit. They could hear it stepping down the hall way. One of the ten royal guardsmen took it upon him to run to the door to try and close it but before he could everyone just saw this battle suit reach for the man’s neck. It’s massive hand wrapping around the man’s head and lifted him up. The battle suit began to squeeze tighter and tighter until he heard the sound of a pop and then tossed the lifeless corpse to the side. The pilot inside then targeted the other nine royal guardsmen. Daniel had his own weapon aimed at it but he knew all was lost. They would either die here or be taken and made into slaves. As he thought about it, he kind of preferred a life of servitude to the zeal empire knowing that the princess would also be alive. However, his thoughts where washed away as the auto-canon ripped into the other guardsmen and he looked to the princess and he could tell instantly what she wanted him to do. She wanted him to surrender and live and he wanted the same for her. He nodded in agreement at her. “Come from under there, we will surrender together.” He said and tossed his rifle aside and helped her out. The other guardsmen were dead but they would survive. He was sure of it as they stood up with arms raised.
“I am princess Mon….” She was about to say but she was interrupted by the pilot inside. “Yes, I know who you are Monaco; you made a wise choice surrendering. The head of the behemoth looked to its right. “Alright you grunts take them in.” It said and no soon after that where they having their hands pound by steel cuffs and pushed along. Daniel was content with this ending. At least the two of them were still alive. He may not see her again after this but he would suffer. However, their paths would change from here on out, the next time he looked upon the body of Monaco. She would be someone else entirely.
The Kantogun Chronicles: A Scifi Roleplay
Plot:
The planet Atlantis has just been attacked by the Zeal Empire and those who fought the empire have died while those that where noncombatant were taken aboard the large science vessel up in the planet's orbit. Your story begins in a six by six cell. When posting in the IC occurs you will get a choice to have one alone, share one with one of the other player characters or share it with npcs. This role play will take you through the many battles against the Zeal Empire. You have a choice of being a member of one of the many people taken from Atlantis or other planets, or you can be an ex member of the Zeal Empire who is now sharing a cell with rebels or innocent civilians. The roleplay(s) end when the Evil Empire has been destroyed.
Your character as well as the others will have your things taken from you and placed in storage. You may get a chance to get it back or not. You will be forced to wear a jumpsuit. This jumpsuit is white with either a red or blue stripe. You get a red one if your character is female or a blue one if your character is male.

The Kantogun Empire: Biography
The result of a rebellion against the Zeal Empire. The Zeal Empire could only push and shove for so long before the people of five planets could take before erupting into violence. The five planets; Sojourn, Aurelia, Athenia, Sapphire, and Juniper were soon joined by three other planets. These planets are named; Atlantis, Esmeraude, and Astraea. These eight planets form the Kantogun Empire.
⦁ Sojourn: The Capital and heart of the Kantogun Empire. The planet provides funds for the Empire's armies and science division. This planet was also the start of the rebellion. Their people were subjected to hellish experiments as well as devastating discrimination laws. They eventually raided weapon warehouses and fought the Zeal Empire until it was rooted off the planet. This act caused each planet, one by one to join the Sojourn in the fight. The planet Sojourn has two ecosystems. One side of it is made up of one large desert. The other half is nothing but ice. Thanks to technological help provided by the Zeal Empire when they came it was made much more hospitable to the people.
⦁ Aurelia: One of the planets that produce the empires many resources, such as platinum, cut diamonds,and various other metals that help build the great war ships. Aurelia is a planet that might as well be on big giant diamond mostly because its surface and insides are comprised of it. The rest is made of hard platinum. There is places of life however such as grass and trees. The platinum is mostly found under the ground.
⦁ Athenia: Not a planet Keene on resources but they trade what they can. What they do have are very well developed minds. This planet has provided schematics for weapons and warships that would stand up to the might and power of the Zeal Empire. Many people from the other planets are chosen and shipped to Athenia for schooling. The more minds the better, is Athenia's current motto, believing that their developed minds put together would make a difference. From space the planet can be seen as a violet color but down on the surface it is lush with life and people. The Zeal Empire believes Athenians get their developed minds due to the planets atmosphere. A fact not yet proven.
⦁ Sapphire: The planet's export into the cause are vast varieties of gems that are used to focus the plasma and lasers of the Kantogun's weapons. With the help of Athenia's minds Sojourn was able to build equipment that would allow Sapphire to tap into the diamond deposits within its core. With its core encased in solid diamond it was a prime target for the empire. The gems also brought the Zeal empire some workable materials. That ended however wen Sapphire broke off from the Zeal empire to join the Kantogun Empire. The planet its self once more looked similar to ours but lacked the large bodies of water.
⦁ Juniper: This planet is just one big academy, almost like Athenia but what they produce are pilots, soldiers, generals, etc. They train the very people who make up the armies of the Kantogun Empire. The planets tough environments and biomes make it the best place to train civilians into hardened troops. The planet Juniper has a very small surface but its atmosphere is large. The moment they learned how the people living here began to use technology to make them fly. This desire provided to the two empires with very skilled people.
⦁ Atlantis: This planet holds the largest bodies of water in the system. With cities that grew from tiny islands. Through advances in technology the planet has been completely mechanized through hydro power. With this they are able to give their cities power and factories which they use to build war machines that are known to be unmanned.
⦁ Esmeraude and Astraea: Unlike the other planets, these were not so lucky in resources. What they did trade in where bodies. They had large populations that would be sent to the other planets to either work or train or both. Little do they know is that can be considered a resource sense the Kantogun Empire needs people for the war effort.
The Zeal Empire Biography:
The Zeal Empire once controlled most of the known galaxy, but do to the rebellion they where cut in half when it came to size. However, their military might is still strong and powerful. Utilizing plasma and energy technology for not just their weapons or battle cruisers ,but as well for battle suits and even other utilities. The planets that make up the Zeal Empire are as follows: Zestionia, Eyrus, Stromia, Zucronoe, Lustralia, Brarvis, Nepliri, Jorilia.
⦁ Zestonia: Zestonia is the main capital of the Zeal Empire. The planet its self is one giant city. However, it does not have the beauty like some planets with the same characteristics. The people of Zestonia live most of their lives with oxygen masks due to the poisonous fumes of their factories. However, those are present on the dark side of the planet. On its more brighter side that gets most of the sun. Is in fact a world of white sky scrappers. Even though it is beautiful it still has the same dangers. Only this time they don't wear masks but live in large domes. There is one building that stands out the most and it is at the center. It stands tall and large and houses the Empires leaders. Each world leader lives here. The empires military heads and lead scientists also live here when they are not off planet. The buildings around it are mostly academies and training centers for their soldiers and pilots. Zestonia started its monopoly the moment the made advances in their technology and produced plasma technology. With it they were able to conquer planet after planet. Not ever planet they attacked though. There were planets that did fuse with the Empire willingly.
⦁ Eyrus: Eyrus is a fire planet and does in fact contain life. The life there was artificial though. Brought to it by the Empire. The Planet Eyrus was a gold mine when it came to materials and when mined and used for this purpose gave the empire deadly machines of war. Those who live there rarely leave the cities due to the heat. With cooling rods and necessary adjustments the cities where made hospitable to humans and other life forms. The planet houses however many volcanoes and large lava lakes. Water is brought to the planet with help from the Empire.
⦁ Stromia: The polar opposite of Eyrus. Where Eyrus had fire, Stromia had Ice and snow. The planet was a frozen world but deep down below the surface was a civilization that the Empire almost missed. When found they were given the opportunity to join the Empire. They fell for the Empire's words and promises and provided the empire with what resources they could. Whether those resources consisted of unique metals or exotic meals from the planets wildlife, it provided.
⦁ Zucronoe: This planet looks a lot ours. It has water and land. The Empire colonized it shortly after it began expanding. The indigenous people there are forced to work for the empire by raising livestock and growing herbs and other consumables for the planet. Zucronoe provides a good amount of food and medicine to the Empire.
⦁ Lustralia: This planet is comprised mostly out of gas. This gas when used for fuel was very effective the empire. After discovering this they claimed it like they did every planet they came across. With giant facilities dotting the world they harvest the gas. This gas is used for powering a lot of the ships and vehicles in the empire.
⦁ Bravis: Is a planet like Atlantis is made up of completely water. Only difference is that there are no tiny islands to build on. It was colonized by the Empire for its great source of water which other planets lacked greatly.
⦁ Nepliri: This planet is one large desert. One of the many planets within the galaxy that lacks water on a large scale. What it has to offer for the empire is a very strong material that looks similar to glass. This glass is used for a lot of things, such as casings for their plasma canisters, or as windows for their star ships. It was even used to construct better domes for planets that had toxic air.
⦁ Jorilia: Jorilia is a heavily populated planet that the empire uses to recruit. The people were very intelligent and made officers fast. Those who didn't were trained for combat while others made up a lot of the high ranking officials in control of large pieces of the empire. Like Zucronoe it looks like our planet only its a lot bigger then ours. The planet is also consisted of mostly of jungles.
Character Creation:
Races:
The Zeal Empire is made mostly of humans. If they are not human then they are most likely slaves who are more then willingly to escape to the safety of the Kantogun Empire. Sometimes they are successful and sometimes they are not. The choice for races are open world. When deciding a home world for your planet you will be allowed to choose those above or make up one on your own. Just read each description of my planets and pick something that would fit them or like I said make up your own. Same goes for races. Fill free to make up your own, it can be a humanoid bug or furry or something that looks like something from star wars. The races of my story will consist of space elves, humanoid animals that resemble cats or dogs or birds etc, and others.
Belongings: This will be mostly attire that will get taken from you anyways, if you were armed and surrendered at the time you might get your weapons back or you might be forced to get a new one. Your character will start in this roleplay with his own belongings until you get captured.
Rules:
* Unless I say it happened it didn't happen. Your character unless allowed to have such a ability can not read minds so they should not be able to know what another character thinks or says to himself in his head. Do not God Mod.
* Follow forum rules. I am the GM I get final say in anything and everything. You don't like something I did or said too bad.
* Be respectful in the Occ or the Chat room that I will put together if enough people join.
* I am the GM not you, if you have problem with someone or questions ask me. Do not police my roleplay or tell others what to do.
* I will warn you only once. I will kick you from the roleplay if you break any of the rules a second time.
* Romance is allowed but don't force it. If someone does not want their character to be romantic with yours then they don't want to.
* Take arguments to a private message.
* This will be a mature role play so there will blood there will be death and further more there will be nudity. However, other then that that will be it. There will be no smut. Take that to a private message.
Posting Rules:
* There will be a rotation, I don't care in what order as long as everyone gets to post. There will not be free posting unless I say otherwise so I do not want to see double posts.
*Rotations restart after I post updates and story movement. Once you post I should not see another post from you until I post again unless told otherwise.
* Do not post one liners or a paragraph that is very short. What I want for posts is 1+ paragraphs. If you only post one paragraph make it a good sized one and not like three sentences or something.
*Look at the Tags.... that is what you should expect.

*Note: Once there are 5 people who are interested I will post the OCC to which you will be given the chance to post a Character Sheet. This role play will be active. Do not join it if you do not plan to be very active.
