Wes was happily sleeping during the day underneath a nice shaded side of the tree in the forest, there was however a strange sound that awoken him for a bit but he just nudged it off and tried going back to sleep. The few minutes that past eventually turned to a hour with the strange constant noise that kept Wes up "Argh, its already past noon so I guess its a bit late to sleep in." muttered Wes as he began getting up, "Though this odd sound is sparking my curiosity, never so far in my travels have I heard such a sound, and I do have to say that it's a bit on the creepy side." As he thought to himself and began to walk in the direction of where the sound may be emitting from.
dirkinz said sounds good, and I assumed as much I just am prone to think of the worst things that might happen.

Its cool I can understand, I had similar thoughts too but I really like the idea so I tried not to make it seem OP. And if I do ever some how step out of boundaries, just poke me and give me a snickers bar lol, but ya if you think I pushing it with the powers much, then just tell me and I'll retype it to now being to crazy :)
dirkinz said All right, Expolar, what you described seemed to imply that Wes was able to manipulate any[/] spaces gravity to be [i]any strength or direction. The issue with this is that that sort of thing could easily rip a person limb from limb with very small areas of gravitational pull or kill a person with minimal effort (think about things like the force from star wars). The few gravity magicians in FT have been shown to be able to manipulate it to either be very strong or reverse its direction in an area but only one area at a time and never create sideways gravitational fields. These things seem to limit the power of gravity mages and without them the magic would be insanely powerfull. do you see where my skepticism comes from now? So as long as it doesn't get too out of hand your magic and the rest of your character is accepted.

Thank you dirkinz, and thanks for suggestion I will keep that in mind. The force in Starwars is actually a great example as to how I plan to use it since Wes has to move his arms and legs in order to control it, ripping people apart wasn't really what I had in mind so don't fret about because I also plan to make it more difficult to control more than one space and size the in gravity so people could roll or recover themselves out once the gravity becomes weaker and reverts back to normal.
Ignore, sorry for the double post.
Wonder if its the same Lyon from the anime
Well if you were able to read this post before hitting the hay thanks but if not we'll there us a next time. I'm open to any suggestions as to how I could not make the gravity magic OP and discuss about it. But if it helps , I wasn't trying to make a character like Bluenote Stinger with his Fall spell that sings a large area down or create black holes, in the bio I just mentioned how Wes sunk his town was only because he could control the gravity in the area properly in his anger and also hurt himself through that process which was why he kept the bandages around him. I hope this somewhat help give some more description about how the magic will be used and if not I'll try going with the copy magic or magic drain as it's called in the anime.
dirkinz said so looks good for the most part but I feel like the magic is a little too strong, mainly because gravity magic, and especially if that magic can be used anywhere in any direction, it can be really OP. you did say something about higher level stuff using more magic but unless it is a lot it might be a bit much.

Okay, what if I change it to a magic that allows the user to temporarily copy another wizards magic. The only things that I can see is that the user doesn't know how to properly activate the new magic unless first seeing the original use one of their spells, that and the user might not be trained or skilled enough to properly use that magic. Another thing would be that the user can only use a certain amount of magics at once and attempting to use more than one if not trained enough may have drastically dangerous results.
Just about to ask the lady behind the counter some questions, Wes felt himself being pulled back away from the counter and fell on the floor. "Ah dude, what was that for, I just got here?" frustrated from the fall, Wes rubbed looked at the excited wondering what the deal was. "Sure I might of followed the guy, but hopefully he didn't see me." Wes thought to himself "Can't you just let this ordinary guy have some peaceful talk here or something. Unless you think you need help with something major some Jack the Ripper murder case." giggled Wes as he looked at the guy.
Yup sorry for the wait, and binding a conduit's hands together has been a thing usually seen by Augustine and her DUP who used their concrete powers to bind Delsin Rowe and some other characters' hands together so they couldn't use their powers, just wanted to mention since we all are conduits and could possibly maybe do the same thing lol.
Name: Wes Gusto

Age: 17

Magic:

Magic Level: A

History:
Wes was born and raised in a town that was built in a desert of burning sands, but it had a great community except for his parents who abused. While growing up, he found a wizard who knew gravitational magic and the teacher gladly accepted Wes’s request to learn magic. The magic he learned was what he found the most joy in until his parents pushed him too far, lost control of his magic in his fit of rage, and buried the entire town beneath the burning sand. There were only a few survivors from the event and those who did survive had severe burnt marks and they had to wrap most of their body in bandages, including Wes. When the magic council arrived, the citizens told them that Wes was the one who caused the event. Afraid of what the magic council might do to him he tried pleading that he was innocent until he accidently pushed one of the soldiers away with his gravity, which started the council’s attempt to capture Wes. After being chased out of town, Wes quickly tried to cover himself so no can recognize him and went into hiding. Years have gone by, with his uncontrollable use of his magic ever since the first event, he traveled to many places, escaped the magic council multiple times, battled against various wizards, accidently putting people in danger, and where ever he went his personality outside slowly developed into a cold and apathetic attitude thinking that if can’t protect anyone, then might as well turn them away to prevent any future problems. And still he is traveling while keeping his anger in check so he doesn’t cause another accidental rampage.

Personality:
Is mostly quiet, but might joke around, has a cold and apathetic attitude. However on the inside, he does care for the little things he finds in life, especially people that have helped him, but feels sad that he can't properly help anyone.

Team Members:
Currently not part of a team.

Three Strengths:
1. His resistance in intense heat.
2. His determination when he can actually help someone.
3. His love for spicy food.

Three Weaknesses:
1. His terrible social interaction skills.
2. His cold and apathetic personality.
3. His disdain for sweet and sour foods.

Greatest Love:
Finding a place where doesn’t destroy and can actually protect.

Motivation:
Not putting people in danger.

Appearance:
Been having trouble looking for a picture similar to mystogan’s style of keeping himself shrouded, but here goes. Wes is about 5’8’’ tall, slim, brown skin tone, short black hair, but his body is practically shrouded by the wraps of bandages around him except on his hands, feet, and head. He wears a brown baggy short, grey shirt, a beige vest like jacket, and a beige scarf and hood that covers most of his head except for his eyes. He usually has a mean look.

Additional Details:
If he does receive a guild’s mark, it would be blue and on the side of the right shoulder.
