Well...You see I have plans for him. It adds more to the character. Now not only is he fighting demons but he will be fighting to keep his soul and sanity as well. I can do it...Its just time, patience, and long necessarily annoying exposition that details his very spiritual fight.

Plus I imagined Wrath to be like this and the way the artifacts work. If you want the powers of the sin, you most give up something precious, something money can't buy. Now because they are SINS, the embodiment of them, it was only natural (imo) that he would lose his soul in the process but there is a chance for him to come out of it and save his mortal body. Its just if he can figure it out.
