Current Been a while, but I'm back. Just moved and no social life in the new place yet so I'll probably be around a lot.

My cat has been found guilty of laptopicide, using my very own jar of ice water as a murder weapon. I'll be back as soon as I can. At most, I'm looking at about a month with no personal computer.

Name: Thomas Selwyn
Age: 16
Power: Empathy
Appearance:

Bio: Due to his 'condition,' as well as an actual physical infirmity, Thomas lived a rather sheltered life when he was young. Besides being blind from birth, he was known to exhibit peculiar behavior for apparently no reason. Doctors and psychologists could only explain his occasional bizzare behavior as severe mood swings. Only he knew that the powerful emotions he experienced were the result of the feelings of those around him. Thomas lost his mother when a fire destroyed the building she worked nights in, leaving him oblivious to the loss until the police came around later the next day. That was the day that then seven-year-old Thomas first set foot in the orphanage.
@Spriggs27 I've a question of my own. Might I be able to play a Hunter that, after being wounded and stranded/left behind, contracts the Onyx virus? I just like the idea of him having gone mad and possibly being recognized by the other Hunters.
Fine with me, Thomas would probably be someone they wanted to help with new arrivals anyway.

After a few moments, it became obvious to Morgan that he was alone and his roommate was likely already at the ball. Deciding that he would be late if he delayed any longer, he started in that direction himself. Judas stared at him with half-lidded as he left the room, closing the door behind him. While he walked he wondered idly what the others might feel about their attending family.

The ballroom had been decorated with all the extravagance Morgan had come to expect in his short time here. Three of the other students he rocognized, and someone he didn't, were nearby, already conversing among themselves for the moment. When his eyes passed over them to see who else was there, they seemed to get stuck on Kiara for a moment before he could move on. Shaking his head slightly, Morgan turns to the rest of the room just as one of his sisters punches him lightly in the ribs.

"'Sup, kid? I was beginning to wonder if you would ever show." Never one to conform or impress, Piper Selwyn wore jeans with torn knees held up by a strip of leather studded with spikes. Her top was slightly more tasteful, a thick black turtleneck sweater. Her dark brown hair, a trait she shared with Morgan, was coiled in a bun.

"Had to be you didn't it?" came his reply, but his smile and the brief embrace they shared showed how glad he was to see her.

"Make any new friends yet?" she asks as they both turn toward the rest of the room, prompting Morgan to glare at her for a moment. That was exactly the sort of thing he hated about talking to family. "What? You know I was joking!" Rolling his eyes, Morgan gives his sister a light shove, and Piper can only laugh in response.

I'll keep an eye on this
I am interested.
Every time the tree or bushes rustled, Morgan's hand moved to rest on the hilt of his sword as he looked about warily. Not knowing what dangers could be around any and every corner put him on edge. Two of the others had joined them on their path towards the river and the village. Morgan said not a word to any of them while they trudged along, preffering the company of his own thoughts for the moment. When the river was finally directly in front of them, he looked somewhat dismayed. There was no way for him to cross that, especially with his armor. A sharp whistle demanded his attention, and he turned his head to regard the old man with his feet in the water.

"What, exactly, is a 'hoop'?" Morgan asks, raising an eyebrow. Obviously it was some form of currency, but none he had ever heard of.
Orlan Price - Beacon Cliffs - Tuesday Morning

When the announcement came, Orlan had followed the rest of those leaving the ballroom to the lockers to deposit his bag, and then out into the sun and onto the cliffs. Axios in hand in it's spear form, he takes his place on the first empty platform he comes across. Ozpin's speech only widened the smile that already spread across his face. Today seemed to be much more suited for him. Decisive action, plenty of enemies, and a proper challenge.

When the first student launched, Orlan had to bite his lip to keep from laughing. He quickly corrected that mistake though, realizing that he could bite off part of his lip on impact if he wasn't careful. Now informed of their method of travel, however, he twisted the center section of Axios to prepare the weapon to fire. Setting his legs shoulder width apart with knees bent, he waited for the mechanisms below him to begin their movement. Managing to time it right, he pushed off just as the patform threw him, causing his flight to be more straightforward and lower than it otherwise might have been.

His spear in both hands, Orlan narrowed his eyes eyes he flew threw the air. He had eight shots, and had to make each one count. When he neared a tree, he thrust Axios towards it. Rather than embedding the tips of the splayed spearheads, this caused the weapon's segments to push together and fire. The blast slowed Orlan's momentum and allowed him to control it to some degree. Four more blasts in rapid succession echoed through the air as he progressed in this manner, forward and eventually, down.
Really only looking for fandom stuff at this point, but if you think you've got a great idea, I'd love to hear it. The fandoms listed arent the only ones I will play, but the only ones I could think about at the time. Feel free to ask about others, the worst I will do is politely decline.
