Hmmm.

Okay! I'll happily be wild off the spot if need be. ^_^

@Feisty-PantsWhen one of them doesn't even like having people seem like they're in even ground with him, probably not well. He doesn't take kindly to actual competition.

Oh dear.

So it'd be like:

Koto: "Er, hello! My name is Professor Namashiya Kotori, it's a pleasure meeting a fellow level 10!"

Aiden: "GET ON YOUR KNEES AND BOW BEFORE THE HAND OF GOD!"

@Feisty-PantsI wasn't planning on them knowing each other personally, more like they know about each other. Kotori's level is enough to get tons of attention, while Aiden is a famous Actor in public and the head of a PMC known as 'The Hand of God', which is also the moniker this alternate persona is known by. The Hand and his men are well known for doing nearly any kind of job, no questions asked, with the utmost efficacy. Their record is damn near spotless.

Then their inevitable meeting will be....interesting?

What is one level 10 meeting another like? Hmmm.

@Feisty-PantsHe can be and, in all likeliness, will be. He doesn't have anything against anyone at the moment, but he can end up in their way if they get in his way during a job or attack/defeat his men.

And they're old acquaintances, he and Koto, no?

How do they know one another?
Minerva just hates everyone. XD

She's not a very nice person to start. XD
Minerva -- Unease

Garnet's sorrow drew frustratingly close to Minerva's confusion, even still, it mattered little for now. "Divided in some ways, adjoined in others your Highness. I will see sure to it that you arrive in Lindblum. Come hell or high water." Nodding solemnly as if to affirm this a second time, it would swiftly become evident that the distrust between the Knight and the Ship's crew was very much in place.

Evident by how she reached for non existant weapons the second she heard that they had a guest.

Like a snake, he explained his presence to be amicable swiftly, and the Knight's azure eyes narrowed suspiciously. These men weren't able to be trusted, and wasn't the Cassius the very same one who she heard lamenting about having to fight?

Cowards, the lot of them of course. What else could she expect from a band of thieves?

"You're in the presence of the future Queen. Straighten up as if you actually had a backbone, swine." Minerva harshly stated, a sense of feral tone escaping fro betwixt her softened lips. "We are your guests on this Airship, be that as it may, you could suffer to show some god damn respect to the crown."

@Feisty-PantsAs I'm writing out Aiden's sheet, I'm realizing how much an Opposite he is to Kotori. Where Kotori doesn't kill out of her own kindness and humanity, the only reason he won't kill someone is so that they can live with the knowledge of how totally he crushed them. As two of the level 10's in Japan, there could be an interesting Yin-Yang dynamic between them.

XD

Especially since he is a villain, no?

@Feisty-PantsHurrah and what have you. Now, if you need me, I have to go write my CS's for my Villains while jamming out to German rock.

That's an interesting idea. There could be protests outside the entrance to the ENMA campus, in disagreement with Koto's presence in the city.

That's one way to look at, and most people probably would see that reasoning . . . but you'll be damn sure that they'll be a bunch of people who probably get tired of being reminded that there is a person in the city who can wipe them out in an instant. I mean, Kotori is basically going to be comparable to the current iteration of Superman in terms of how people respond to her. Some will be grateful, others skeptical, and still more wanting her dead simply because of the danger she could cause, along with allof the other Espers, Mages, and what have you.

Like I said, it's like having a nuke being blasted overhead every year, and even if that Nuke is protecting you, it's going to make a good number people nervous as all hell.

I figured the general response would be just like that. You read my mind, Rai. ^_^

It is impossible to make everyone happy.

@Feisty-PantsA thought just came to my head. . . does Koto do that whole anti-matter explosion every time she demonstrates her abilities, because if so, I wouldn't be surprised if the City council or whatever governing body received a bunch of complaints from the citizens who got scared shitless as something with the force of, like, a nuke exploded overhead keeps exploding every year she gets new students. Hell, I think she might get some anyway even if this is the first time, because that is the kind of stuff that people would want an explanation for.

She distances it enough so there is no signifucant damage. Maybe a few broken windows and a couple car alarms.

So there is literally almost zero damage, some pretty fireworks, and a level 10 actively protects their city. Not only that but the same level 10 teaches future generations of children to prevent blasts like that from actually hitting the city itself.

Also consider she has been teaching for three years, she probably does it as a demonstration yearly upon meeting new students. It is critical after all, to show them why they remain in control is so important.

Similarly, for those that want to start trouble, it's also to stress that she can put them in the bloody ground, if need be. Protecting herself, her students, and the city as a whole.

Small price to pay for that, no?
