Obviously not my place to comment since I'm not actually in the game yet, but I wouldn't mind.
Eh. Little effort, and I just like orchestral trailer music. So no problem on my end.
Daniel drove on, attention divided between the road and his passenger, the thoughts racing through her mind similar to those he had had when this first occurred, though he didn't say as much at this moment. When she asked where they were going, he shrugged, still working on that question. "I'm not sure yet," he replied simply, beyond the fact that they seemed to be heading out of the state.

"Alright," he added, glancing over as she fell asleep against the window, rest doing some to ease the stress ad emotions that had played across her features so recently. He did notice the burns but didn't do anything about them at this point, not wanting to risk an accident by using too much energy. As it was, he only went on a bit longer before stopping o get some coffee from a Starbucks. The caffeine would help keep him awake as he drove on, figuring to put as much distance as possible between where they had come from as he could before pulling over to get some shuteye.

That was eventually what he did, parking in a secluded spot of forest that he had stumbled across and stopping the car in a clearing a bit away from the road. The doors were locked, the windows rolled up, and he reclined the seat back to get some rest as well. Looking over at Alexis seemed to reinforce the notion that she could use the rest, so he didn't feel like waking her. It would take the Hunter Initiative some time to find them, if they even knew where they were at this point, so he could afford to rest. Taking in some deep breathes, he fell into a deep, exhausted sleep.
Added in my own guys theme song, because why not.
Their real introduction this time, Daniel found himself sharing the sentiment. Better circumstances would have been nice, though admittedly any circumstances were better than these. At least they didn't have the official authorities looking for the yet. Being labeled a terrorist or something like that wasn't exactly the thing you recovered from.

He drove on, sparing the occasional glance to his new passenger as he headed away from where they had been, and towards out of the state His mind was on more mundane affairs, such as money, supplies, where they would rest, where they would go that sort of thing. She, presumably, had nothing, and he had next to nothing since he couldn't get back to his motor home. He was increasingly turning to another option, though it was one he didn't relish. That was, leaving the country entirely and going to a country where the USA couldn't reach him altogether. But he wasn't sure if that was an option he wanted to try right now.

Drowsiness grew, but he forced himself to stay awake. Alexis speaking up helped there. "I'm not going to blame you for that," he said with a shrug. "I'd probably have done the same thing.if I were in your position." And that was true. "Well, now that we're in this, I guess I can help teach you what I know, so you can do more with your magic and do what you need to do if we ever part ways." Or if he got captured. But he left that unsaid.

Age it up a bit, and you're all set.

Age: 27
Gender: Male
Occupation: Preacher
Weapon: Tazer
Bio: ken was born without genetic engineering to a lower middle class family in Los Angeles, trying to make it's way between the divide of rich and poor, and definitely out of the bottom. Both his parents worked, his father in industry and his mother as a secretary, and he was an only child. He did decently in school and ended up going to a community college, where he found a love of writing. Sadly, writing didn't pay that well, so he had to get other jobs too, most specifically, as a courier. So he meted out a living, until one fateful day when he was attacked during a job. Apparently, what he was carrying was some highly illicit contraband that someone else wanted, and he was just collateral damage.

What happened next is hard to determine, and indeed no one has really been able to. He was nearly killed and left for dead, his cybernetics on the fritz. All that can be guessed is that there was a malfunction in his link to the Cloud, and he had an out of body, hallucinatory experience. It was during this event that he says he had his catharsis, meeting with God, who showed him the true face of reality. Upon waking, he was as firm a believer as anyone, willing to do what was necessary for the furthering of the faith and transhumanist destiny

He is now a fervent believer of the Church of the First Deity, worshiping, proselytizing, the works. he has even undergone voluntary augmentation to make himself better and be closer to god. Better eyesight, stronger, faster. He is not perfect, but he strives to be as close as he can. He has become a preacher for the church, speaking to the masses and trying to convince them of the future to come. He has also worked against organized crime, however effectively he might be at that.
Relationships: Church of the First Deity - Adherent
Other: Carries around a copy of the Church of the First Deity's bible at all times.
Theme Music: Rise of the Machines
Hm, I think I'll claim a spot here and try to get you something today. This could be fun.
Rose returned quickly enough, hastening to catch up to the Doctor as he made his way along the frozen water that now served as their ground. It was thick, no cracks, which was understandable if one considered the notion that the entire sea itself had frozen to an incredible depth. Doubtlessly there were still pockets of turbulent water raging in the bottom of the seas, where natural geothermal energy had kept them from freezing, but those were out of sight. There was just the ice, the beautiful crystal waves, and the dancing auras in the sky.

Looking over, he had to admit that Rose certainly looked cozy, while cold bit at his own exposed extremities. It was uncomfortable, but that was being alive, and where was the fun in being comfortable. He knew he wouldn't get frostbite or something silly like that, so he would be fine. The ground was relatively firm beneath his feet, the way it froze preventing any sort of flat, slick surface from arising that could toss him on his behind. His mind was trying to ignore what had happened before, to just focus on the beauty in front of him and the things he had yet to see, but it was hard going at that. You think it'd be easy for a being hundreds of years old to forget stuff, but sadly he didn't get off that easy. Lords of time and all, he could remember everything.

He looked over as Rose mentioned figure skating then. "Well, if it were undisturbed then there wouldn't be any atmosphere cause it would all have frozen. There's people somewhere, for the tourist industry I suppose. We've just got to find them," he replied, wondering just where those people would be,.

Fortunately, it seemed that the people would find them, rather than the other way around. It wasn't obvious at first, shining points in the distance slowly growing closer and closer, but soon they would hear the sound of revving engines, snowmobiles, headed towards them at a decent clip. They resolved into focus, a trio of the snowmobiles headed in their general direction, though it seemed that they hadn't spotted Rose and the Doctor yet.

"See, what did I tell you," he commented triumphantly. "People."
Alexis in the car, Daniel drove off and out of the parking lot, acting casual about it so as to not attract attention, making his way down the road with the occasional glance in the rear view mirror, until at last his passenger confirmed that they were in the clear. The radio he allowed to stay on, given that the music would be calming and he wasn't actually powering the car anyway. He could afford it being on.

He could feel himself fading, having used a lot of energy to do all that magic and now suffering for it. Adrenaline was keeping him going, but he'd need to rest, eat, or something, before he just dropped from exhaustion. There had to be a better way of doing magic than this. still, he didn't look too bad, a bit sweaty, clothes ruffled, a bit grimy as well, but otherwise, he was intact and that was a good thing.

Now that they were on the run together, or something, when she asked, he was willing to be a lot more forthcoming with answers. "About a year," he said with a shrug. "I haven't been running all that time, but I think it's been around that long." It was hard to remember, the days before those men showed up at his door, before he had this strange power. Like a distant life gone by.

At her next question, he shook his head. "No. that's a false identity. I'm really Daniel Saddler." He held out a hand as he drove towards...somewhere, anywhere away form the fair. "Pleasure to meet you."
Yay. As long as they don't have nuts. That's not my favorite dessert.
