Well, technically, you're in the past and I'm from the future... of two seperate universes, and we're both in god knows what Universe from the point of our respective captains... So there might be some opportunity for interpretation of the Temporal Directives.

Spock and Nero already broke the temporal prime Directive with a hammer. I say go for it.

Ba'al groaned as he shook himself awake, head pounding with the worst headache he had felt in...well, ever. Which was saying something. Blinking rapidly, he pinched his nose as he rose, hoping to dispel this nuisance as quickly as possible so he could get on with his mission. He had done something incredible, built a great device from a mixture of Asgard and Goa'uld technology that would allow him to predict solar flares and use them for time travel via Stargate, so he could use the knowledge he had to seize control of the Goa'uld Empire and subjugate Earth, not in the way that the others may wish, but in a different way, with Earth as an integral part of his empire.

But as he rose, cold biting at him in his garb of leather and black, he was struck with profound confusion. He was in a...copse of trees in a clearing, apparently in the winter. Snow, snow was good, but as he looked around, he was nowhere near the Stargate, and there were a mixture of eclectic buildings nearby, some he recognized, some he didn't. And he was not alone. There were other people in the clearing as well, some unconscious, some stirring, but not whom he expected to see.

His hand reached for his Zat'nik'tel as he rose to his feet, brushing himself off as he looked around. "Jaffa, kree." He called for his Jaffa, the men he had sent through the Stargate first to come to him, but there was no response. He looked around before calling again. "Jaffa, kree!" And still nothing.

There was another calling as well, inquiring as to their location and why they were here, and Ba'al turned to face him, though he did not draw his weapon. The man was...weird, dressed somewhat like a Goa'uld System Lord but wielding a wooden staff with strange markings on it. "I am afraid I know as much as you do,' he said, fixing on a sympathetic smile as he moved towards the man. "I was supposed to be on Earth right now, but I have a feeling we are far from that place."

As he talked, he worked over priorities. First, find out where he was, how he got here, and how to return home. Keep the nature of his being secret for the moment, lest he alienate this group here. He might need them after all. And then mete out his vengeance upon whomever had swept him away. It was not much of a plan, but it was at least one.

I got "write what the ship was doing from the PoV of the people in it immediately prior to getting transported" and then "Write the history of the notable characters". Not "Write the history of the ship in flowery RP language so I can tell how you'll RP them. But fine. I'll edit it. Again.

In the later half of the 22nd Century, Earth was at war, and losing. Though the men of the earth Defense Forces fought valiantly, their ships were outclassed by those of the Gamilon Empire, who drove them back further and further, until Earth itself was under siege, suffering the impact of numerous Meteor Bombs, the fulfillment of Desslok's evil plan to turn Earth into a radiation wasteland. The entire population had been driven underground, and it seemed all hope was lost.

Then a godsend. An alien probe crashed and was recovered on Mars, bearing a message from a planet known as Iskandar, which gave them Wave motion technology and urged them to come and get a device that would allow them to cleanse the radiation from Earth. They developed an Engine, and a cannon off this new technology, and with the best and brightest at their call, set off on a retrofitted Battleship, the Yamato. It was a harrowing journey, but they made it to Iskandar in a year, got the device, and returned, while destroying Gamilon along the way.

Fast forward two years. The war is over, Earth's surface has been cleansed of radiation, and people have begun returning above ground. But the EDF is still wary, and are rebuilding their fleet so nothing can again threaten Earth. The EDFS Andromeda is launched in 2201, to replace the aging Yamato as the flagship of the fleet, and is given over to Admiral Ryu Hijikata. afterwards it led the defense of Earth against the forces of the White Comet, skirmishing in the outer system, it also tried to prevent the Yamato from deserting Earth, but in the end Admiral Hijikata lets them escape.

Forward still, the main battle fleet of the Comet Empire has entered the solar system, with the asteroid fortress Galantis not far behind. Admiral Hijikata has the main EDF battle fleet under his command as they go to confront the enemy near the planet Saturn. Yet that changes as they are swept away in a blinding flash of light and exotic particles.

Now they are in a strange galaxy, far, far away from home (So far as astrometrics can tell), and they have one objective. They must return home to defend Earth agains tthe forces of the Comet Empire, and if Earth has already fallen, then to liberate or avenge it. If return home is not possible, then they will carve out a new life here, and make sure that Earth is never forgotten.
