Thomas walked over to the door and nodded in agreement. "Sounds like a plan." The two of them exited before branching out, Belle heading upstairs while he took the main floor. It was a casual stroll, him moving from one room to another in an organized fashion as he looked to see what he could find. There were some Heartless still around, but it wasn't too much of an issue to deal with them, since they came in small packs, not the large numbers that were so common on the other worlds they'd been to thus far. He supposed the other area of his search, besides finding Reno was finding a library, maybe a vault. His goal was to find tomes, artifacts, something to increase his magical abilities, give him an edge. And why not? The castle may be dark and spooky, but it was also old, and so odds were that the previous inhabitants may have left something behind. and finding that would be useful indeed, if the voice in his head was speaking rightly.
Thomas walked around the kitchen, opening a drawer, a cupboard, and altogether very unimpressed. For a medieval castle's kitchen, there wasn't much food inside. Though since there was no sign of habitation beyond Heartless it was a surprise that there was food at all. His search was casual, expectation of finding something amazing low when it became obvious that Reno wasn't hiding somewhere in the kitchen. He flipped an apple and caught it before placing it back where it was as he moved casually around.

"I noticed," he replied with the slight hint of sarcasm, as if it would be hard to miss Reno if he were indeed here. He nodded in agreement with her assessment. "Yeah.. I suppose we should split up, since I'm getting the impression of a needle in a haystack search unless something becomes apparent as to where he is real soon." It did increase the risk, but it would make finding Reno that little bit easier.
Low level Heartless, this wasn't too hard, and it was a nice break after nearly getting murdered by the White Witch. Aerial swipes and lightning flared as he lashed out at the Wyverns, twisting in air to dodge retaliatory hits. It was a change of pace, to fight aerial enemies as opposed to land bound ones, and he found himself adapting to cope, sweeping blows aimed in time with jumps, using the momentum from one hit to propel him in a spin to another Wyvern.so he could hit that one. Landing provided the opportunity for healing, and more magic as well as a chance to see how belle's fight was going, if he needed to intervene, though that was unnecessary every time he did look. One less thing to worry about as he took down one Wyvern after another until the skies were clear.

he relaxed his Keyblade as he walked over to Belle, breathing deeply but not tired. He glanced about at the various doors before humming in thought, and pointed to a door on the right side, which seemed a bit less gaudy than the others. If it led to a place for servants, or the kitchen, he knew he wouldn't decorate it that well. "Let's try there," he replied, moving off towards the door in question to see what he could find.
The entry was easy, uncontested. It made him wonder if there were even people here, if this castle had been abandoned a long time ago and they were significantly removed from civilization. Still, there might be something in here worth finding, even if they didn't locate Reno. Who knew what was in a castle such as this, secret rooms, ancient tomes, that sort of thing. And entering he wasn't surprised by the dust and the darkness which further reinforced his belief that they were far from civilization. The tint was weird, as well as the presence of the fog, which was unusual but technically possible, if you were into that sort of thing.,

Thomas looked around the hall, scanning the exits and wondering that in turn. He was looking for disturbances in the dust, since although Reno floated around, he would have had to leave a trace somewhere, opening doors and the like. "Probably the kitchen," he agreed with a nod. "And I'd assume a place like this has one. We just have to find it." He glanced over and shot a grin. "I'm not opposed to some exploration though."

Seemed that wasn't in the cards though as a swarm of Heartless appeared,m flying and rushing in on the ground. Thomas frowned, falling into a combat stance before lashing out with Thundara, aimed at the Wyverns. Take out as many of them as he could, and this fight would be a lot easier. "Well then, let's have some fun."
Thomas strolled along as it was towards the castle, glancing over at Belle as she expressed her worry for Reno. "I'm sure he'll be fine," he replied simply, ready for trouble considering the foreboding atmosphere of the place. "Even if he weren't...capable with his magical abilities, I don't think there's really anything that bothers him. And for whatever personality may have manifested, I don't know enough about it to judge," Which was true, though he'd have to admit that while this alter Reno may be easier to live with in terms of not being crazy like he usually was, the guy was better at magic, if he didn't miss his guess, which made it that much more awkward for him. It seemed the best hope at the moment was that this was an abandoned castle, but that revelation or not would take a bit as they moved towards it.
The plan all set, Thomas nodded to the departing group and tossed out his Keyblade Glider, hopping on and ready to go as he felt the board shift under him from belle getting on. Her proximity was a bit unnerving with the possibility of another episode, but once again he was fairly certain those had passed. But there was more than that, and it wasn't a sensation he was used to. But they had a mission, and he needed to focus on it. He too shared the desire that the new world would be warmer than the last, though how difficult that would be was anyone's guess.. They did talk during the trip, about strategy, a bit of each others histories, though nothing ground breaking. And eventually they arrived at the world Reno would presumably have landed on.

He looked around for a spot and then took them in for a landing, He let Belle get off before doing so as well and sending away his Glider. If belle could notice a dark presence, it his like a load of bricks, dark wound flaring in reaction, and he grit his teeth while striving to suppress the pain and keep her from noticing. His eyes traveled up to the full height of the castle, and he whistled, a bit impressed.

He rubbed the back of his head in thought. "Ummm, I suppose the big, ominous, castle is a good place to start," he replied, and set off. If he didn't let his mind dwell, maybe it wouldn't be as much of a problem.
Reserved for a char. I'm game for this
"I as well,' Thomas replied with a bow to Oreius. It was nice to have a victory under his belt, if a tad soured by the knowledge that the White Witch would probably have beaten him if it weren't for the intervention of his other self. But he could overlook that as it was. He turned back to the group, as they discussed what to do about Reno. He heard the various suggestions, and shook his head. After last time, he was not doing another Corridor of Darkness. And it would make it harder to hide.

"Thanks but no thanks Joshua," he replied. "I have confidence in my own flying skills. and we can't do very much looking if one of us is hurt by the Corridor of Darkness. So I'll pass." He then looked over at Belle. "Sure." For some reason he was looking forward to the trip, though also nervous in case he blacked out like what had happened earlier, though his fear of that had somewhat subsided. He then scanned the group. "Well, we best get moving, since he already has a lead on us"
Alright. I guess I'm back. I'll work on a post or something. Glad to see not everything was given away in this thread
