Yawn. See Ba'als lack of caring. I might have him drink some expensive champagne or something. A supposed galactic ruler has his priorities after all (I'm kinda dreading when SG-1 shows up and calls him on all his BS, though he hasn't actually lied. Just withheld relevant information.)
Tai Zhou sat as comfortably as he could near the back of the airship, keeping his gaze firmly away from the window, with closed eyes, wearing a dark orange t shirt and khaki shorts to reveal tan skin. His breathing was deep and measured, trying to drive some calm into the teen as he waited for them to arrive at Beacon already. And that was something he was looking forward too. Beacon was one of the best combat schools around, for making Hunters anyway, and it was a privilege to be here in and of itself. And of course there was another reason.

God, I hate flying, he thought to himself behind a calm exterior. Give him the ground any day. Hell, he'd have walked to Beacon if it were possible. It just wasn't natural, flying so high in the sky away form the earth and ground, and he couldn't shake the nagging feeling that this thing would plummet down at any second and that would be all she wrote for him.

Fortunately, he wouldn't have to worry about that as the system announced they were there, and the ship settled to the ground. Tai stood up and stretched a bit, letting some relief slip out, before he stepped out and away from the ship, past the more...eclectic people, to enjoy the air and the sights of Beacon, his home for the next four years. He had a feeling he was going to enjoy it.
EDFS Andromeda

As the Andromeda sat in the void of space, engineers scurrying about inside making sure the air stopped leaking out and the damage was repaired as expediently as possible, radar waves swept out to locate the increasing number of contacts about them. Guns hung at the ready, with fighters prepped to scramble again, and missiles primed in their tubes for firing should another free for all break out here. Yet that didn't seem like it would happen at this point, given that most, if not all, had battle damage from the Imperials attacks. It seemed their priorities were in other places.

While Hijikata waited for Roche to arrive back on the bridge and report as to his experience aboard the Culling of Prospero, Dmitri was barraged again by the radio calls sweeping out, unhindered by interference this time. Given that he had to pick and choose now, he reported on the most relevant requests first, specifically, those aimed at them in particular.

"Admiral," he said, "We're being hailed by an 'Earth Allied Forces Jotunheim. We're also being contacted by a 'Systems Commonwealth Ship Valorous Intent offering medical aid and to assist in repairs, and a USS Aurora offering to open formal communications to discuss the situation. Those last two are broadcasting on multiple frequencies, while the first is directed at us."

Hijikata was intrigued, and took a few seconds to think over the next course of action before responding. He turned to Flynn. What do we have on the Jotunheim?

Flynn worked quickly, bringing it up on the overhead screen for the bridge crew to see. And as the message passed across indicated, it did share some similarities in design to the Andromeda, specifically in the area of it being oriented as a naval type vessel in space. "It's 1240 meters long, we're picking up hangar bays, and if these readings are correct, it's even using some form of Wave Motion technology sir."

That certainly piqued interest and made this easier. It seemed they were stuck here in this place for the moment, so some alliances, however temporary, would be useful. Add to that the ship they were talking with had Wave Motion technology such as their own, and it made this much easier. "Open up a channel to the Jotunheim," he directed. "Meanwhile, tell the Valorous Intent that we will take what aid they can provide."

Dmitri nodded and pressed a few buttons before turning to his comm to relay their acceptance across to the Valorous Intent. meanwhile, on the large overhead video screen, the video channel was opened to the Jotunheim, giving everyone on the bridge the sight of what their cameras would alloow them to see of the other vessel, and in return they would be able to see the Captain's chair with Hijikata there.

"Earth Allied Forces Ship Jotunheim this is Vice Admiral Ryu Hijikata, Captain of the Earth Defense Forces Ship Andromeda. We had come to the same conclusion as you regarding temporal or spatial transportation of some kind, and would not be opposed to a partnership for the duration of our time in Imperial Space."
Aw,and I was so looking forward to dealing with a Caldwell that was possibly a Goa'uld.
Well, given that the guns they were using before were less than stellar, Wave Motion tech was an easy choice. Should be fun though, especially when our doom guns get back online.

Oh, and Penultimate, do you think the Jotunheim has video communication capabilities? I just ask for the formatting of my response, whether it's by radio or if you get to see the Admiral.
I assumed ours aren't jammed anymore, since there aren't Imperial ships in the immediate area. That could change, but it's my opinion.
Oh goodie, a new hos-I mean, a new ally for Ba'al.
Alright, editing complete. Sorry Raidne, but you might get better luck with a video call.
The amount of random pictures in this thread is way too high
Next time I play as the Dimensional Submarine. But oh well. Just wait till I get my Wave Motion Guns back.

Actually, may have to go edit my post, since my guys know Morse code.
