Hm, Daniel Saddler, in a post apocalyptic game that had 40's level tech and magic. Daniel happened to be born with one of those gene defects that meant he couldn't feel pain. This ended up with him becoming a serial killer who was banished from his village for torturing people to death, and forced to wander, doing odd jobs. Said torture was experiments with unwilling subjects to understand the human body, what it was capable, and what the concept of 'pain' was. He then took it into biological sciences to make drugs and stuff.

Otherwise a very cultured individual, if it weren't for the kidnapping, brutal experiments, and desire to make the next stage of humanity with 'ends justify the means' logic.
Tai didn't spend long in the bathroom, taking a quick shower to wash off the sweat and dirt, before brushing his teeth and readying for the day. He emerged to see small groups gathering as everyone fully awoke and waited for the test to be announced so they could begin. He moved through them back to his stuff, packing it up so it could be more easily moved when that was needed, before sitting down and watching, listening. he wasn't a recluse, but merely practical, deciding whether a person would be one he wanted to interact with before doing so. People didn't know how much they gave away in their common actions, but he was, and he used that. So for now, he waited for the tests to begin, and the school year to really start.
Another shrug from Ba'al as he stepped through the doors into the lobby of the hotel. "There are other System Lords," he replied, still not rejecting the Godhood notion but wondering how Joker had figured it out.. "But I am the strongest among them, and am thus the leader of the Empire." Looking around, he saw that either more Challengers had arrived or there were more locals that had somehow made it through the barrier that seemed to surround this place. "Hello newcomers," he said with a slight bow. "I am Ba'al, one of the people who will be partaking in the Challenges that have been arranged for us in the coming month."
A W.I.P as well.

Science, wealth, control of humanity
Ba'al was concerned for a second, until he realized that the Joker wasn't a mind reader. That could have been awkward otherwise. "I don't recall ever calling myself a God," he pointed out as they walked. "My more correct title would be 'Supreme Commander of the Goa'uld Empire,' or 'System Lord'. I certainly don't make any claims to Godhood." A lie, somewhat, but that was all technicalities anyway. He pretended like the names 'Superman' and 'Wonder Woman' didn't mean anything to him, figuring he would keep up the fiction of ignorance until such time as it was wise to drop it.
Hell if I know. It's still a possibility.
What if the only male in your room is homosexual?
It seemed his complaint had succeeded in getting some reaction from Joshua, even though it only succeeded in rankling Thomas further by his statement that if he had been involved he would have inevitably overshadowed everyone else, as if that was some certainty. The mocking tone certainly didn't help, and he could feel a growing anger towards the other boy, in excess of how he usually felt about these things, the urge to punch him in the face growing irresistibly stronger.

Fortunately, the explosion in the sky from Reno's Giga Flare's provided a welcome distraction, even if it served to somewhat emphasis Joshua's point in a way. Thomas let out a low whistle, impressed, as his gaze turned to the light in the sky, before returning to Joshua, aware of Oner's approach but ignoring him for the moment. "I don't need favors from you," he spat back, anger flaring somewhat back. The used nickname didn't help. "And I don't get mopey. Whoever has the spotlight doesn't matter as long as we defeat whatever's attacking us at the moment. Weren't you all gung ho to kick King Candy's face in until like five minutes ago? The rest of us were, are, out here fighting to make sure this world isn't consumed by an army of mutant bug things. So no, I'm not satisfied."

He turned away from Joshua, lest he act on the urge to be violent, his head somewhat pounding from an imminent headache, as he looked over to Jake, who had a nice coating in candy Cy-bug juice or whatever. "Yeah, sure," he replied somewhat bitterly to Jake's placating attempts before moving away. He, unlike everyone else, was going to make sure that those currently fighting King Candy were doing alright. Because he actually cared. At least, that was what he told himself.

There was a slight pause as he saw another figure behind Oner, that drew his curious eye. He couldn't help but wonder where the guy had come from. "Um, Oner, who is that," he asked, anger fading away via curiosity, a bit.
Ba'al considered his answer carefully, aware that since his stated position was supreme commander of the Goa'uld Empire, then saying he wanted to rule a restored empire would be counter intuitive. So he went with his other plan. "Ascension, of course," he replied, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "To rise to a higher plane of reality where I would exist as pure energy, free from this physical body." As he replied, he turned a corner, allowing the hotel they were staying at to come into view.

Depending on where the roleplay current is at and how far you are into it I may be interested in joining. If you're in the middle of something I may just wait until your done the scene or the event or whatever it is and join or pass in general. The characters I intend on playing are Jason Todd, The Red Hood and Taito from Hero Tales.

It depends. We have someone playing the Joker already, so would he and Jason try to murder each other within the first ten seconds of seeing each other?
