Hey. I'm here, but I was last to post, so that doesn't mean much
Considering that via the Expansion the Allied Victory is canon, yes, that's what I'm implying.
Hey, it's a better idea than WW2 Japan attempting to conquer the entire planet by themselves like they did in RA3. :p
Alright then, perhaps you can correct my confusion then. How does staying on Earth a single planet with finite resources, keep the Zerg from showing up and murdering us rather than going to space, where there are plenty of solar systems and galaxies that offer plenty of opportunities to be far away from the Swarm?
Well, i can tell that you're a 'glass half empty' person. Yes, the Zerg never stop coming. Just as entropy will eventually end the universe all on it's own. By living in space, humanity will ascend to the next stage in it's evolution, when our souls are no longer bound by gravity. And naturally, this can't be done on Earth. You don't wanna fight the Zerg? Fine, we'll hook you up with some cryo tubes and a sleepr ship, have fun traveling to Andromeda. But it is humanities destiny to leave Earth.
They'd have to know we exist first though, wouldn't they? If we never meet them, they'll never come to kill us.

But fine, I suppose I could make a couple doom lasers to wipe out any Zerg fleets that show up. Feel better? (It's what Zeon is good at)
Yo man, it ain't so bad. The Zerg are only in the Koprulu Sector, which is about sixty thousand light years from Earth. Plenty of room to expand before meeting them, if we even head towards the galactic fringe rather than the core.
Ah. I see. Well, anyway, you should prepare for the inevitable relocation of the entire human population of Earth to outer space. Just a heads up beforehand
Um, it's a giant tube 8 km long made of space concrete and metal being dropped from orbit. I don't think it'd actually be possible for a nanoswarm shield to eat the entire thing before it hit the ground at reentry velocities.

But that's irrelevant, because the only reason I would conquer the world is for resources to rebuild space infrastructure and relocate the entire population off the planet and into space.
Fortunately for Tai, Robert seemed to do a good job of freeing himself from Edgar's grasp, even if the bull Grimm was still intent on murdering him. This was apparent by the way Edgar ran into a boulder, smashing his horns and at the same time sending Robert to the ground, though Tai couldn't help but notice that he happened to have a card now. And then the Grimm's horns managed to regrow in a matter of seconds, impressive at that.

Fortunately, Priscilla intervened to make sure Robert didn't die a gory death as Tai rushed forward, apparently phasing through the Grimm somehow, which was a useful Semblance at that. Suddenly there were shouted directions, and Tai shifted wordlessly to accommodate the instructions, his meteor hammers whipping about in rapid motion, chains wrapping around and crushing limbs, when a hammer strike didn't land on the smaller Grimm that surrounded them.

His actions were careful, controlled. To do otherwise was to risk his weapon flying out of control and doing things he didn't want them to do. Overhead leaps and smashes with raised ball and chains, powerful thrusts where he tossed one head forward and then yanked it back, the meteor hammer was a classic weapon that was a testament to the skill of the user in controlling it. And he used it now as he took down Grimm after Grimm, saving the fire dust laid upon it for when it was truly needed.
