9 chapters, it's been about a semester and at least a couple weeks since the show started in universe, I can imagine there have been many...interesting attempts in that period.

Man, makes me glad that Tai has an Aura, to prevent stuff like broken legs while fighting Grimm from happening.
Well, beside that, the obvious answer would be some sort of malware that seizes control of all those combat robots, like the one we saw Ironwood demonstrating, and has them attack Beacon, Vale, etc. That's the answer that immediately springs to my mind anyway.
Well, another nod to the fandom in the 'Jaune is really good at dancing' thing. Oh, and he has seven sisters. That's gonna be fun to work with. And it turns out Neptune isn't totally awesome, which is nice. Good to see some character flaws and such. And yes, Team JNPR dance number was lulzy.
In the meanwhile, Cinder is a good fighter, horrible at hiding unconscious bodies, has Dust infused...falchions? I think those are falchions, that also become a bow. And now we know how the Beacon deliery system works. And their wifi password.
Now then, to wonder what the purpose of the Black Queen computer virus that Cinder uplloaded is.
