So, got around to seeing Episode 25 of kill la kill. I enjoyed it, does a good job of tying up loose ends, though I'm amused it took an OVA to actually give Rei a character ;p

Unless this turns out to be some weird Star Trek type mirror universe, then yes, 'we' are the good guys.
Mineva frowned as Jazz replied, working out the words with a vocalized "autonomous...robot organism," trying, and somewhat failing, to repress the confusion that was brought up as a result, but his addition made it that much easier for her to say, if not understand. "Ah, I see," she said, with a slight bow. "My apologies then Mr. Autobot. I did not intend to offend you." It didn't seem like the Autobot was actually offended by the error, but who could tell with 'autonomous robot organisms'? It wasn't like this was an experience they'd had before.

Meanwhile, two figures approached from the side, drawing the attention of the trio, who glanced over to see them standing there, interesting fellows with varying degrees of enthusiasm for being here, yet still emanating an aura of experience and knowledge. But perhaps Haman was imagining things. She looked over to her blue haired companion. "Mashymre, please assist Princess Mineva in answering whatever questions this Autobot may have," she instructed with a considerate tone.

Mashymre proceeded to almost fall over himself as he snapped out of whatever daydream land he had been in, hastily bowing. "Yes Lady Haman,' he said in a slight rush before stepping forward to stand beside Princess Mineva, looking up to the Autobot and perhaps instinctively comparing it to his Galluss-J Mobile Suit. Now that would be an interesting sight to see. He then reiterated what he had just been told. "As per Lady Haman's request, I will endeavor to answer any questions you may have on our great Principality of Zeon and the ideals that drive her." Mineva glanced up at Mashymre, and one could get the impression that she was sighing internally, but the blue haired commander was totally oblivious to the feelings of his sovereign.

Haman, meanwhile, left the duo and walked over to the two waiting in the wings to be spoken to. "I am Haman Karn, current Regent to Princess Mineva. You may speak to me on any matters involving the Principality of Zeon and international affairs," she said with a calm tone, giving a show of authority and strength when she wasn't going for intimidation. She had the feeling that that part wouldn't work anyway, but she had a feeling that they would prefer to talk to the true power behind the throne, and not Princess Mineva, no offense to her.

I got the feeling was that most of the people 'disappearing', got brutally murdered by Grimm. Or raiders.

Yeah, pretty much lends credence to my belief that that spiel he gave to the White Fang was playing to the crowd. The White Fang want to overthrow the current order and get revenge on everyone who wronged them. The plan hits a seriously flaw if the army that Cinder is building doesn't take the armaments that Torchwick can provide. So he has to get them on his side. If Vale collapsed then all his wealth would be worthless after all, though I could see him going for the 'Robber King' schtick.

Also reinforces the belief that The White Fang and Cinder's group will inevitably backstab each other on the verge of victory or shortly thereafter, allowing the heroes to swoop in and save the day while they're divided and fighting amongst themselves..
Waiting on Mntntopview myself. Then i can reply to him and Dead Crusher
Name: Homura Akemi
Age (can't be less than 11 and higher than 17): 14
Appearance: http://images.puella-magi.net/6/65/Homura-scan.jpg?20110330153350
Weapon: N/A
Special Ability: N/A
Wish: N/A
Personality: A shy introvert, her heart condition makes her incapable of prolonged physical activity. she suffers from low self esteem, her time in the hospital having made her terrified of embarrassing herself in front of others, cares very strongly about her friends and will do anything to protect/help them, even to her own detriment, meek, timid,

Given that the thing said 'Lap 1', I assumed it meant we were starting in the original timeline, so Homura hasn't made her wish to become a magical girl yet. If I'm wrong then I shall edit.

Well then, this little break, much less useful than the one about Dust. I was hoping to see something about culture and stuff, not vague generalizations that only really reinforce the point that the world is a scary place beyond the walls of the Kingdoms. Oh well, till next week then.
It fell quiet, but Tai enjoyed the silence. It let him think, and relax, since people became less of a priority and he could clear his head, focus his mind and energy on what he would have to do next. Admittedly, next at this point was waiting for the other teams to arrive so they could leave, but still, it let him relax and wind down from the fights, and walking.

Then the talking started again as Robert spoke up, giving them his backstory, then Priscilla spoke up, giving them her backstory, and then Greyson spoke, giving them his backstory. Tai listened alertly, even if he didn't show it, though he still refused to call them his teammates when it wasn't set in stone that they were going to be a team yet. He wasn't about to make assumptions like that when they might be wrong. Sure, that's what the facts would indicate, but there was still a significant possibility that that was not what would happen.

Still, he got the distinct feeling once more that he had a monopoly on good luck with this group, seeing as they all had this tragedy, bad luck, and all around not good lives before coming here, whereas he was pretty much ordinary, as ordinary as anyone coming to Beacon could be, really. he shook his head once people had finished, to indicate he didn't have any questions, but otherwise kept silent. It wasn't like they were pushing for him to spill his lifes story, and until he was sure they'd be a team he didn't want to become overly attached. So he sat, and watched, and waited.
He had succeeded in grabbing her attention back from whatever memories she had been invested in at that moment, but Alex had the feeling that they had still had their effect on her. Asgard gave him a curious look, one that he bore stoically and relatively easily. Things like that seemed to become less difficult when one was injured as he was.

At her offer though, he thought on it for a few seconds, considering the desire to find out how she had truly become Asgard, rather than whatever might have been put in the history text books. And he was very much aware that history textbooks weren't always exactly truthful. That was something that wasn't unique to the Ultimatum in any way, as students could attest.

"Yes ma'am," he said at last with a nod, settling in to listen to what she had to say.
Tai was the only person on his team to not get seriously injured in some way. I'm not sure if it's just because all the bad luck naturally gravitated to other people, or because his defensive Aura is just that good.
