Well, seems a bit more suited for the Goa'uld in general than Ba'al specifically, but it works.
I kinda feel like this is a suitable theme for Ba'al, given the megalomaniacal cliche evil involved with all goa'uld to some extent.

Well, or this. There are a lot of options. :p
I'll admit, I laughed a bit. But yes, that suits Ba'al very well.

Um, might just be me, but I was under the impression that her cell wasn't working because they were several stories underground, which tends to block cell phone signals

Well, it's a good thing Ironwood brought that veritable army for the Vale Festival. Should help contain the Grimm. If, you know, the Black Queen virus doesn't activate and make all the mechs and robots they have go haywire and start indiscriminately shooting people.

Yep on the Dust thing. That'll be interesting in the future. For example, Ruby + Red Dust = Fire trail?

If that's Yang's mom, then she's a badass. Though I can only guess given the fact that Neo was apparently afraid of her and ran for it, despite the beatdown she delivered to Yang. That's gonna be fun.

Indeed. Let's count it down.

So, Grimm are attracted to negative emotions, and dissipate into nothingness after a few hours. Seems oddly familiar to me... Other than that, no big surprises beyond the expected possibility of new Grimm.

As for the most recent episode, Roman apparently has a grappling hook in his cane too, which is convenient. It's ironic that while he's the guy in charge, he goes down the easiest in the three fights we see. Also 1/6 roll for that Persuasion check. Try again next time.

Neo is awesome, Chainsaw Lieutenant isn't bad, that mysterious figure with the Grimm mask is certainly intriguing, since they apparently use blades made of pure Dust or something, and I bet it'll be suggested, but I don't actually think it's Summer Rose personally. Just a hunch, even if they did save Yang from being aggressively shanked before ripping a hole in reality to leave.

Oobleck's coffee mug bat is also a flamethrower. Which is cool. And Zwei apparently has an aura of his own, since he gets hit with said bat, lit on fire, and smashed into a mech with nary a scorched hair on him.

Now then...This plan doesn't seem very well thought out. Leading the Grimm to Vale I can understand, but after ramming through a wall, how were they expecting to unload all the stuff they had on that train before the Grimm caught up and started killing everything? Then again, I suppose the people inside the train weren't all knocked unconscious like Team RWBY was on the outside of the train.

Next week is gonna be a doozy.
You know, most schools don't let you repaint your dorm room.

If you look at Mars through a telescope, you just might see me striking a deal with Martians to invade Earth and wipe out all human life. We had a good run fellow humans, but it's time for natural selection to take it's course.

Yep, natural selection did it's work alright.
It had been a somewhat sedate trip back from the testing ground, some teams worried about injured members, those members that were injured and still here insisting they were alright almost as a matter of requirement, and stuff like that. At least the trip back was easy in itself, the airships unaccosted by Grimm, and himself left to think and contemplate on what had happened. It was always good to have ones thoughts in order, at least in his opinion.

Arriving back, they were quickly ushered into the auditorium for the presentation of teams. An occasion he watched calmly, as opposed to the anticipation that others presented, the desire for leadership that he didn't share. If that was where the chips fell then he would do so to the best of his ability, but he wouldn't be offended or saddened if he wasn't..

And it was a good thing he hadn't. As expected, the two cards that had been retrieved (to glowing praise from Ozpin), had indeed signified that they would be a team, and that Robert would be their leader. To be honest, with his luck Tai almost pitied him in that position, but would do what he could to support him. Though he couldn't help but hear the rumors of the other team that had taken down a Nevermore and a Deathstalker on their quest to retrieve their artifact, and wonder idly what it would be like to be with them instead of here. Oh well, he'd never know now, would he?

He followed along to their room, watching with an inheld sigh as Robert dove onto one of the beds, Greyson did the same before standing up once more, and Priscilla fell asleep on hers. Wonderful. At least Robert had the smarts to ask what they should do, and Greyson answered. But to be honest Tai didn't have much to customize his space with at all. He was always something of a minimalist, and while he had a few things, it wasn't extravagant beyond what was required to be here and class materials.

"I was going to go work out a bit in the gym, but you don't have to wait on my account. I don't have that much stuff anyway," he replied, somewhat self dismissively. The hardest part would be clothes after all, and a small workout to make sure he wasn't incredibly sore in the morning would probably be a good idea.
