Well then, I'm planning out a crossover between Madoka Magika and RWBY, set in the RWBY verse with some PMMM mechanics. This could be interesting.

Yukiko wants to get along with !

Miyako will be Yukiko's friend, once she confirms she's not CIA, NSA, JSDF, a robot, a shapeshifter, a lizard person, or stuff like that.
Yeah, essentially because of Alexandra's backstory, she knows what SEED is (Since I assume SEED campaigned heavily for funding from America), she just doesn't have specifics about what she's doing, because her job description was 'You do what they tell you to do."
Alexandra looked about the confusion and general hubbub once their purpose here had been revealed with disdain. Were they all really this stupidly ignorant? She'd known flat out coming here had been part of some SEED program, so it wasn't a surprise that it would be SEED who brought her here for whatever. But maybe they just operated differently in Japan than they did in America. Japan did have their own way of doing things after all, compared to the USA.

She did have to agree with the sentiment about the little kids being here though, the hopelessly nervous one that had just entered, and the little girl hiding beneath the table. What use would they be to an elite organization dedicated to fighting Nephilim? That would just end in disaster, she was sure.

Well, at least the revelation settled her worries about whether this would be a waste of time or not, since even if it was it would probably still be in some useful purpose. From what she understood overhearing conversations at high class functions involving the organization, they weren't ones for massive bureaucracy and red tape, so what happened next would be at least a little bit important.

She let out an audible sigh, resisting the urge to play with her hair a bit in exasperation. "What, didn't any of you read the forms when you signed up," she asked in return to the girl who had asked why they were here. "I don't know about the rest of you, but I signed up to be a member of an elite organization dedicated to protecting the world should it ever be in danger again. Maybe you should read the fine print before you sign up for something you're obviously not qualified for."

Finishing with haughty disdain at the cluelessness of everyone involved here besides her, she looked to the two people here from SEED, the man with the odd arms, and the woman who was apparently going to be their chauffeur. "Well, I'm ready to go," she told them, just as eager to get to the important bits as she was to get away from the stupid people. This was what she got for assuming commoners had brains they could actually use.

Also, I'll take controlling insects. If it's good enough for the government, it's good enough for Miyako.
Hm, interesting. Personally I would have gone to the superpower wiki and hit 'Random Page' three times for each, but this works too. Also, does that first mean rock and roll, or actual rocks?
Originally I was going to be the cold loner type, but this could be more fun

Name: Miyako Komatsu

Age: 14

Appearance: Link

Personality: Suspicious, possibly delusionally paranoid, Miyako believes that many everyday occurrences are part of some giant conspiracy. For example, the frequent monster appearances. Her beliefs may outstrip the facts or her ability to back them up, but so long as there isn't 100% certainty, she will hold to her beliefs. Carries an eclectic assortment of items, investigative, she's also very ignorant of the ridicule she gets. If you were in a crowded room, she would be the one in the corner furiously scribbling in a notebook while muttering under her breath about chlorine in water for brainwashing. Also a fan of lost causes, and while she's afraid of bodily harm, those she accepts as friends (After a thorough check to make sure thy aren't a shapeshifter or robot) can find that she will be completely loyal, when not dragging them into crazy adventures.

History: Miyako's father was a cop. Sure, he worked behind a desk and away from any danger, but a cop nonetheless, and she grew up on stories of his escapades. Combine that with detective novels, police procedurals, and several major government corruption scandals, adding to a series of events she keeps to herself, and she found herself falling into the life of investigation, and that never really faded away, much to her parents dismay. She's hardly the epitome of popularity in school, but she knows her stuff. Also currently unemployed so she can devote her efforts to research, for the time when she can present a major story that will blow the lid on a cover up and catapult her into journalism. Or something like that. She hasn't thought that far ahead yet.

Powers: Ability to control insects

The first two, maybe.

I wanted to avoid the aliens that have been around for a really long time in the show's history like Daleks and Cybermen, not just because they'd be such obvious choices but also because, if the universe of the show is so big and complicated, I might as well look towards the more obscure parts of it and maybe coming up with something a little more interesting.

Although, among other ideas inspired by the Classics, I did consider a challenge based around the Daleks as they were portrayed... just because that would be hilarious, given how different they are from the Daleks we know today.

Interesting.

I'll be honest, with the kinds of stuff that exists in the Dr. Who universe, I'm amazed that humanity managed to set up an Empire instead of crawling back into bed and hiding beneath the covers with a flash light and a twelve gauge shotgun.
Kaga said I've just brainstormed about a dozen possible challenges based off of Doctor Who and Homestuck (each). I'll probably give them all a bit more thought later tonight to see if I can narrow those ideas down to the ones that'll probably work the best.

Do any of them involve Fearing the Dark, not Blinking, Extermination, Upgrading, or a dozen other horrible things that exist in the Dr. Who universe?
