From where he was, Ba'al got to watch the full on collision as the dragon was hit again, and again, and then Vash hit Saber, and it was all just a mess as far as he was concerned. Fortunately he wasn't involved in it, and thus could act as an arbitrator of sorts, or just play them off each other so they knocked each other out and he could breeze to victory. It made things so much easier on him.

At last it died though, and Ba'al found vision flash in front of his eyes, signalling their victory, and he rose from his cover now that it was safe to do so. Nobody had complained about his inaction, and thus he considered himself victorious. But before he could do anything else the world exploded into a pillar of light, definitely not like going through the stargate or ring transport, as he was tossed about.

Then, all of a sudden, Ba'al found himself not on the mountainside where they had been, but back in the city. And not just anywhere, but an armory full of weaponry, two sides that seemed to theme themselves off the two natures that dragon had shown. He also seemed to have been healed and refreshed, which was not bad. At least it would reduce the need for a Sarcophagus. Leaving all present to their arguments, he noted the scrolling in his vision, and nodded in approval. So, this was theirs to take? Good. He would have to be careful in the future.

As it was, he did make a snarky comment back to the girl in the flying suit, because he could. "Well, I'm sure that was the only way it could get you to notice it, with your diminutive attention span." Otherwise, he vacillated for a few moments before making his way over to the 'light' side of the room, browsing the weapons there. It would fit more the impression he was trying to get across if he went with those instead of the 'evil' iconography. And he didn't want them to think him evil just yet.

So he wandered, looked about, tested weapons. This recent fight had shown that only having a Zat would not be satisfactory if he was to survive in this series of challenges, so he would have to find some additional armament. Fortunately, there was an armory at his disposal, and he had some skill with melee weaponry. At last he settled on a sword and shield, the latter strapped to the arm he used to shoot, and the sword going into his other hand. He did a few practice swings and judged the balance to be adequate before sheathing the sword. It was no Shikra blade, but it would do.

Thus equipped, he then rejoined the group, first replying to the strange man. "I don't contest your claims to the swords, but given that there is no skull here, you may have some difficulty in claiming it."

Not surprising. I knew Vash would get on everyone's nerves thanks to this trial.

As a God, Ba'al totally has the right to take the life of another. But because he's playing subtle, he's not actually going to say that.

Yeah, it will be. For example, Grimm are Witch's Familiars, Penny is actually a magical girl who's soul was shoved inside a robot, Dust is used instead of Grief Seeds, and Cinder has an actual plan, but is also borderline insane and just very good at hiding it. Most of the time.

Well then, I'm planning out a crossover between Madoka Magika and RWBY, set in the RWBY verse with some PMMM mechanics. This could be interesting.

Yukiko wants to get along with !

Miyako will be Yukiko's friend, once she confirms she's not CIA, NSA, JSDF, a robot, a shapeshifter, a lizard person, or stuff like that.
Yeah, essentially because of Alexandra's backstory, she knows what SEED is (Since I assume SEED campaigned heavily for funding from America), she just doesn't have specifics about what she's doing, because her job description was 'You do what they tell you to do."
Alexandra looked about the confusion and general hubbub once their purpose here had been revealed with disdain. Were they all really this stupidly ignorant? She'd known flat out coming here had been part of some SEED program, so it wasn't a surprise that it would be SEED who brought her here for whatever. But maybe they just operated differently in Japan than they did in America. Japan did have their own way of doing things after all, compared to the USA.

She did have to agree with the sentiment about the little kids being here though, the hopelessly nervous one that had just entered, and the little girl hiding beneath the table. What use would they be to an elite organization dedicated to fighting Nephilim? That would just end in disaster, she was sure.

Well, at least the revelation settled her worries about whether this would be a waste of time or not, since even if it was it would probably still be in some useful purpose. From what she understood overhearing conversations at high class functions involving the organization, they weren't ones for massive bureaucracy and red tape, so what happened next would be at least a little bit important.

She let out an audible sigh, resisting the urge to play with her hair a bit in exasperation. "What, didn't any of you read the forms when you signed up," she asked in return to the girl who had asked why they were here. "I don't know about the rest of you, but I signed up to be a member of an elite organization dedicated to protecting the world should it ever be in danger again. Maybe you should read the fine print before you sign up for something you're obviously not qualified for."

Finishing with haughty disdain at the cluelessness of everyone involved here besides her, she looked to the two people here from SEED, the man with the odd arms, and the woman who was apparently going to be their chauffeur. "Well, I'm ready to go," she told them, just as eager to get to the important bits as she was to get away from the stupid people. This was what she got for assuming commoners had brains they could actually use.

Also, I'll take controlling insects. If it's good enough for the government, it's good enough for Miyako.
Hm, interesting. Personally I would have gone to the superpower wiki and hit 'Random Page' three times for each, but this works too. Also, does that first mean rock and roll, or actual rocks?
Originally I was going to be the cold loner type, but this could be more fun

Name: Miyako Komatsu

Age: 14

Appearance: Link

Personality: Suspicious, possibly delusionally paranoid, Miyako believes that many everyday occurrences are part of some giant conspiracy. For example, the frequent monster appearances. Her beliefs may outstrip the facts or her ability to back them up, but so long as there isn't 100% certainty, she will hold to her beliefs. Carries an eclectic assortment of items, investigative, she's also very ignorant of the ridicule she gets. If you were in a crowded room, she would be the one in the corner furiously scribbling in a notebook while muttering under her breath about chlorine in water for brainwashing. Also a fan of lost causes, and while she's afraid of bodily harm, those she accepts as friends (After a thorough check to make sure thy aren't a shapeshifter or robot) can find that she will be completely loyal, when not dragging them into crazy adventures.

History: Miyako's father was a cop. Sure, he worked behind a desk and away from any danger, but a cop nonetheless, and she grew up on stories of his escapades. Combine that with detective novels, police procedurals, and several major government corruption scandals, adding to a series of events she keeps to herself, and she found herself falling into the life of investigation, and that never really faded away, much to her parents dismay. She's hardly the epitome of popularity in school, but she knows her stuff. Also currently unemployed so she can devote her efforts to research, for the time when she can present a major story that will blow the lid on a cover up and catapult her into journalism. Or something like that. She hasn't thought that far ahead yet.
