>That awkward moment when you learn the religious revival movement you were headin was actually a vehicle for a Lovecraftian Abomination masquerading as a God to jack your body and take over the world

One movie. It was tag lined Hawk of Endymion. I think. It did involve a space elevator.
Raildex is amazing. Accelerator is OP. Have you seen the movie yet?
Thomas nodded as he listened to Yukio's explanation, not all too surprised that he didn't know where the Sign might be on this world. They weren't quite that lucky after all. Still, doubtlessly they would find it while going through whatever happened on this world that they had to deal with. Apparently when there was one crisis, everyone had a crisis at the same time. Most unfortunate.

So now they just had to get in. Unsurprisingly, Joshua was going to simply CoD in, presumably, Belle and Amaya would be sneaking in in disguise, while Jake would be doing much the same. He could only guess as to how that would work out, given Yukio had said that only women were working there, but you never knew. Stranger things had happened, that was for sure.

Faed with this problem, he shrugged. "I suppose I'll let Jake try and smuggle me in," he ceded at last before looking around. "Though it might be a good idea to have someone look around this place, just in case Yukio missed something." Not that he didn't trust the guy, but it was their quest after all. A fresh set of eyes might do some good.
To respond to the things aimed at my character, drones or other types of fighting craft aren't outside the realm of possibility, and it was one thing I considered with those electric powers. And yes, she will be taking a look at the MagiTech devices to fine tune them and such. Especially her own.

As for the blade, yes it's kinda weak, but she can electrify it if need be, and we don't really need more close range specialists here, do we? I'll just bring some flying robots with miniguns or something.
That's what emoticons are for.
So, um, Illuminami, while I like your post, crossing 4646 miles in 15 minutes is a little impossible unless you took something like a scramjet through an orbital flight...or you just went Mach 10 plus and blew out every window between Moscow and Tokyo, if not doing more damage. Sorry.
Because I can just imagine the crazy that might result from this. that's why.

And because I wasn't originally gonna hyperlink it, I was gonna directly post it. Then I changed my mind without going back and getting one with a higher resolution, that's why.
So, I shudder at the possibility from an OOC perspective, but I think Klara and Kazeko might end up having something resembling a friendship, if only because of Klara's love for machines, and Kazeko's robot legs XD
Asura said Cinder was once a 'good guy', but turned on Vale/Beacon/Ozpin following Summer Rose's death, which she likely had a part in, be it as the aggressor or a colleague present at the time. Callin' it now.

I could see that. Probably was a colleague rather than the aggressor there, and she sees Summer's death as the fault of Vale/Beacon/Ozpin for whatever reason, so she's trying to bring down the 'corrupt' system. Or something like that.
With disinterest Klara looked around the classroom she had been summoned to, and the others there. None were particularly interesting overall, she supposed, and she didn't go to the trouble to interact for the moment. She'd been hoping to get a look at the car engine she'd managed to get her hands on today, but now she was stuck here doing this, a real shame at that.

Her hands twitched, all too eager to get into the inner workings of some machine, a physical manifestation of Klara's preoccupation, and further evidence of the fact that she was nothing if not a gearhead. In lieu of that, she reached back to brushed a few loose strands of hair, again, while scanning the room once more. She wished she had her tools, maybe a flashlight or a circuit board or something. So much wasted time right now.

Still, she had to be here, at this school, as part of the deal that had gotten her out of Russia, and in the fast track to joining one of the most advanced organizations on the planet. She found herself practically salivating at the thought of working with whatever SEED was cooking up in their labs and workshops. It was just a matter of doing all this stuff and then getting there.

And that meant going through this school, academy, whatever. It wasn't that difficult, all things considered, but it was hard connecting with people since she didn't speak Japanese all that well, or English for that matter, and no one else here really spoke Russian besides provided translators. Not that she minded much, since she probably wouldn't have related with all these girls anyway, and didn't really want to. People were hard, machines were easy.

So she sat calmly and waited, the only thing she could do.
