Although it might be interesting to see if the Goa'uld would be prepared to ally with some of the other empires in the game.

They would. Just expect treachery at some point.
@Flamelord
I referred to them as 'the Empire' because I forgot their name. Sorry.... )=

Oh, I was talking about the post above mine. As if my faction can't be involved in a massive winner-take-all brawl where I totally won't backstab my allies on the verge of victory.
Don't forget the Goa'uld. Ba'al will lead us to victory.
Well, Ruiko is e field. Now I just need to figure out where she actually is.
Goa'uld Star Empire - Caracas, Venezuela

Since arriving here in Venezuela, the Goa'uld forces had been very busy. Buildings had been appropriated as prefab structures were set up. A firm wormhole connection back to their home base was established, allowing for an impressive military force to pour through, to secure a foothold for their God in this new land to conquer. Thus far there were no signs of humanity, but that daunted no one. They had seen their fair share of abandoned worlds, and if humans were out there, they would find them.

A defensive perimeter had been set up, with staff cannons and other weaponry ready, and with force field generators provided to cover the base should an attack come from the air. These would be effective in deterring aggression, and with the forces on hand it would be more than enough to handle any conflict. At least, as far as the Jaffa were concerned.

At least the time had now arrived, with the base all set up, and they were ready to move on with the next phase of the plan. The interdimensional wormhole activated, space lashing out in a 'ka-whoosh' before it settled into the rippling aperture of an event horizon. Guards stood at attention, ready for whomever would come through.

First came the Kull Warriors, garbed in black, expressionless, yet deadly. And following on their heels, the man of the hour, the one who had made all this possible and the one that the Jaffa prostrated themselves before; Lord Ba'al himself.

He looked around, arms folded in royal robes before he spoke. "Rise." The Jaffa did so, and he went on. "Very good. This is but the first step to our new conquest, and the expansion of our empire. With that said a grin broke out, promising good things to come, at least for him. "Let's get to work then."

Ruiko Saten - Location Unknown

One minute, Ruiko was in the thick of combat, her Aero Hand ability sending objects flying to and fro as she combated powerful bolts of electricity. The next, she was...somewhere else, a place that was definitely not the lab that she had just been in. Yet she knew the cause, had heard the stripper doctor just before she found herself here. She had been saved....but she didn't want to be saved.

"Kihara," she cried aloud, rushing forward and slamming a fist uselessly against the wall, tears budding in her eyes. Damn it, all that hard work. It was just gone in an instant. Damn Miisaka and Shirae.

She had thought...thought she was doing a good thing. She was finally being useful, getting somewhere in Academy City, making her family proud and actually helping her friends when they needed it. But they had to reject her, just because the only way she could have powers was the Level Upper. They didn't understand what it was like, and they'd tried to get her to stop by force. That was why she had joined Kihara, so that everyone could be an Esper, so that things in this City could be fair. And now it had all gone down in flames.

But at last she recovered, wiping away the tears as she looked around. Where had Kihara sent her anyway?

She...didn't recognize this place. For all she knew she could be halfway around the planet or something, thanks to the boosted Teleportation ability. But a quick check confirmed that she still had her MP3 player, for which she could only give a grateful sigh. She would not be defenseless.

Well, there was no point in sticking around here, so she began to walk, gaze inquisitive as she rounded a corner. "Hello, is anyone here," she called aloud. First, figure out where she was. Then, figure out how to get back to Academy City. She would not abandoned Kihara to the dogs.
Welp, time to introduce Ruiko, I think.
Garie - Roanpur

Garie eyed up the men who approached her, all of them clutching to mundane weapons like they were a security blanket, even if they couldn't do any real damage to her. Luckily for them she wasn't in the mood to get rid of them, so as they stepped forward she took the package from them, out of general, idle interest. With that done they ran off, leaving her alone to examine the package.

Slipping it open, she quickly looked through the pictures and the instructions within, revealing some sort of medieval setting that they apparently wanted her to trash. She snorted aloud as she looked at the weaklings in the pictures. Seriously, knights in armor? Just who did they think that she was?

"Eh, not like I have anything better to do," she decided at last, shrugging as the pictures were tossed to the side. Who knew, maybe attacking some innocent people would bring out a hero for her to fight. That would definitely make it worth it, as far as she was concerned.

So with that said she got underway, headed towards the location marked out in the packet. She didn't care about conquest, just about doing what Carol would want her to do, and drawing out heroes to fight her. Along the way she did notice the sounds of an ongoing fight, but shrugged before moving on regardless. It didn't matter to her, and she already knew there wasn't anything overly amazing here at the moment, besides that one blond man. And she could meet him later.

For now, she was looking forward to seeing what came to face her in this new location.

Tailred, Mahora

Tailed waited patiently for the response to her defiant decree, to her vow to protect the people even if the people here weren't real. And she got it, first from that girl whose name she still didn't know, the redhead. Internal elation surged, and she made a quiet revision of her attitude towards the other girl at the same time. Well then, it seemed that she was a good person beneath the exterior after all.

Smiling, she looked back to FIlia as the girl began to answer, only it wasn't what she had expected. It was sad to think about, and maybe she had a point. Certainly these circumstances hadn't shown them having any power, or ability to do something. Yet she couldn't just give up, or cede to the thought that this all was inevitable and they had just ought to keep their heads down.

"If he did, we wouldn't have a chance." Tailred pointed out. "But the way I see things now, there's still hop. And so long as there's hope, we have to try." Not as much as she would like to say, but she was interrupted by the announcement, which drew her gaze away from the conversation.

She listened to the contents of the announcement before nodding in approval, her twintails bouncing at the motion. This would be a good way to find out where she could help out, and then actually get there. And it seemed that Samson agreed as well, before Filia flew off for the train.

Tailred prepared to follow, only to note that Samson had turned into twintails, which earned a grin and a fist pump at her apparent success. "Alright," she said to herself before looking to the others nearby. "Let's go." With that said she ran off, headed towards the waiting area and the train there. Time to go be a hero.
Ahsoka Tano - New York City

"I see," Ahsoka replied somewhat skeptically. Admittedly it would not be the strangest thing she had ever seen, but for now she chose to have some evidence before she believed what the man was saying. After all, she wasn't that gullible, especially to fall for something like a godly being.

Still, at the moment she didn't have anywhere else to go, so after giving a glance to the pink alien who was apparently hungry (Which she couldn't do anything about) So she followed along towards this palace, to see what would be waiting there for her.
Since Garie isn't with the rest of the Roanpur guys, should I assume she got the same folder from a similar group?
The joke character strikes. Will it claim a victim?
