"The Champions" is about a travelling circus who travel around in a flying ship, the story consists of ten characters, and any of you can assign yourself to either ten characters (depending on if they resonate with you or just for fun) but only one person can pick one character, and they will be stuck with that character throughout the roleplay.

I will be The Narrator, in which I will take on a role kind of like a Dungeon Master in Dungeons and Dragons (mine and my older brother's favorite game).

Here are the characters and their personality traits (message me to let me know what character you want to play):

The Dummy (real name: Billy Dixon): Billy, a.k.a The Dummy, is the magician of the travelling circus, and he does act like a dummy who is controlled by a master (but this master is unknown). Billy is mostly a people-pleaser, he does things for other people even when he himself does not want to do this, and he avoids showing his true feelings, which can lead him to taking his anger out on others even when they aren't the cause of it. Billy has jet black hair but keeps it in a buzz cut, and he used to have very long straight hair, he also has dark brown eyes. He has a permanent blush on his cheeks like a Victorian doll, and his eyes are constantly wide open, his movements are often jerky and stiff like how a puppet would walk. Billy is currently 61 years old.

Scruffy (real name: Rose McSanly) (role taken by @teenangstlife): Rose, a.k.a Scruffy, is the clown of the travelling circus. Rose comes from an Irish family but was abandoned at the doorstep of Billy Dixon's then-home in Dublin, and Billy took her in and treated her as if she were his own daughter (though he had no real children sadly due to the death of his wife). Rose was taken into the circus at 17, since they needed a comic relief. Rose has taken only a nugget of Billy's people-pleasing tendencies but she is depressed, in which she oftentimes withdraws into herself when she's overwhelmed. She has ear-length wavy dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She is always wearing clown make-up, on and off-stage, and it looks very messily put together.

Takira Rowling: Takira is the mysterious fortune teller of the travelling circus, and is of Jamaican-American descent. Takira was raised in New Orleans in a voodoo family, but she never took part in the magic and rather found solace in fortune-telling. Takira was taken into the circus at around 43 (she is currently 59), since the circus had heard of her magnificent fortune-telling skills. Takira is very reserved but is sweet once people get to know her very well, she is Rose's step-mother (since Takira and Billy have been together since her arrival). She has chin-length curly chestnut brown hair and amber eyes.

Louis Green: Louis is the beast-tamer of the travelling circus, and he is American. Louis is Billy's stepson through Billy's dead ex-wife's previous marriage, and is the adoptive stepbrother of Rose. Louis is about the same age as Rose (currently 23 years old). Louis mostly keeps to himself, just like Takira but is still a bit extraverted, he is modest and is considered the most "gentleman-ly" of all the people in the circus, but he can be dependent on others, especially Billy and Rose. Louis has shoulder-length coily light brown hair and green eyes.

The Twister (real name: Taylor Green): Taylor is Louis' younger brother and the contortionist of the travelling circus. Taylor is Billy's second stepson through Billy's dead ex-wife's previous marriage, and the second adoptive stepbrother of Rose. Taylor is currently 20 years old, and joined the circus at around 18 years old. Taylor, unlike Louis, is more introverted and always judgmental of other people and just considers himself to be more "perfect than anyone else", in which he is more judgmental of Louis. Taylor has collarbone-length fine auburn hair and blue eyes.

Violet Kane: Violet is the acrobat of the travelling circus, and is Taylor's lover, and the person he is least judgmental of. Violet is from Australia and was taught her acrobatic skills through her mother, who also used to be an acrobat. Violet is currently 19 years old and joined the circus when she was 15 years old. Violet is more compassionate and optimistic out of everyone, and is particularly affectionate towards Taylor. Violet has mid-back-length medium strawberry blond hair and gray eyes.

Haji Nassar: Haji is the fire-breather of the travelling circus. He is of Egyptian descent. Haji is Billy's five times removed seventh cousin, and he is currently 30 years old, and he joined the circus when he was 21. Haji can be admirable and outgoing, in which he is the most energetic out of everyone, but he can be inconsiderate when it comes to other people's feelings, since he never really cared about some people. He has waist-length thick golden blond hair and light brown eyes.

Jewel Nelson: Jewel is the juggler of the travelling circus. She is American and is Billy's younger sister, the stepaunt of Louis and Taylor, and the sister-in-law of Takira, Jewel is currently 46 years old and joined the circus at around 23 years old. Jewel can be open and honest with others when it comes to those around her, but she can deceive those who she doesn't trust and is not very honest with people who she doesn't know very well. Her last name is Nelson because she is married to a man named Orlando Nelson. Jewel has hip-length silky ash blond hair and olive green eyes.

Freddy Boyd (role taken by @Terry Bogard): Freddy is the strongman of the travelling circus. He is Violet's older nephew. Freddy is currently 30 years old and joined the circus when he was 14. Freddy can be easygoing and caring, often doing things for others even when they don't ask him to. But he can be boastful when others ask about his life, often making up stories like when he wrestled a bear at 6 years old and stories like that. Freddy has thigh-length coarse dirty blond hair and steel blue eyes.

Van Sweet (role taken by @Sisko): Van is the ringmaster and oldest member of the travelling circus at 91 years old. Van formed the circus when he was 22. Van, like in his name, can be sweet and loyal, but he can also be insecure and self-centered, and he can also be boastful about his work and will get angry when things don't go his way in terms of the circus or outside life. Van has floor-length frizzy black and grey-streaked hair, and aqua colored eyes.

btw, the story will start once everyone picks a character out of all 10

and if anyone needs a break, you can say "break" and i will let everyone stop the roleplay until the person says "no break"
