The years behind me grow and become brighter whilst the years ahead shrink and become dimmer, providing me an excellent opportunity to use the word 'whilst'. Now I'm tired and can't think of anything else funny to say. Let's see, classy info dump should do. I am FlitterFaux this time around, I tend to get horribly busy (still am) and leave the guild sometimes for years at a time but I just can't stay away forever. I'm not awesome enough for advanced but fast paced one lining does not work for me either so casual is juuusst right. I'm a lady, possibly past 29 but don't ask which 29th birthday I'm at, I like rainbows which is good because they're hard to escape in Hawaii, I like fantasy and sci fi with liberal sprinklings of horror and drama, and I'm tired again. Welcome! Seems we got a fun guy here. Now about that sake...
OK so the books Hunter and Elite by Mercedes Lackey, young adult fiction and only 2 of 3 books are even published yet. It seems like not many are familiar w the books and they don't seem very popular but personally I quite enjoyed them so first I'd like to know interested parties familiarity? Beyond whatever weaknesses the books have it all struck me as a great foundation for an RP and I would like to know others opinions.
For those that don't know the books and want a brief description Hunter takes place in a dystopian world (I know, a little over-done these days) some 200+ years after a breach between the modern world as we know it and a world populated by creatures from nearly every mythology as well as some straight up nightmares. Naturally most of them just wanted to eat our tasty human manna so the world got broke. A few stable places have been setup since and some tech has advanced over 200+ hard years and some humans control either magic or psionics. But of course the big heroes are the Hunters who have magic and can summon Hounds, othersiders that like working with humans and eating the manna of the big targets they take down as a team.
More details to come if people want this to be a thing.

Thanks Utrax :3 The 3rd book won't actually be published until later this year but if you enjoy stories about heroines defending people against a menagerie of magical or mythical creatures its worth checking out
