Flood saw Darian and waved back. He pushed through the crowd and joined up with him. "What's up? You joined up with a guild yet?" He asked as they walked towards the arena.

Flood walked into the city and smiled. "Well then, I guess I found my way here after all. Very nice." He said to himself as he looked around. "I wonder where Morgan is." He thought out loud.

"Ciao." Flood said to Morgan as she left. "Well Darian, I'll see you later. I'm going to my hotel." He said as he walked to his hotel.

There are many things going on in her own brain she can’t keep up with it. “Why don’t we put a mask over that face of yours, Devika? That bruise is horrific!”She sauntered over and placed it on top of her head, but turning quickly to face Flood: “Want to hang out some time soon, hot stuff?”

"Are you hitting on me?" Flood asked as he grabbed his gun off of Devika's head. " If so then no. If you mean as friends then whatever." Flood began writing some notes down. " It appears that certain people have auto defenses against fear. Will need to find way past them in future." He noted as he put away the gun. "Thanks for helping me out Devika. I feel like I have a better grasp on the mechanics behind this. I need to find a way so the effect can last long after I stop firing. Maybe I'll go see Professor Crane about it." He said as he worked on his mask a bit more, sketching the details out.

Her maniacal laugh echoed throughout the gym as eyes turned to her, her booming cackle an announcement of her not giving a toss about anything. A beep test!? Even before the first beep she’d have done one hundred runs and that was her just fooling around! An Illinois Agility Test too!? HAHAHAH! A balance beam!? In her light form, in her hyper-speed physical nature, she ran to the beep test and made easy work of the beep test; several hundred before the first beep. It was so interesting, as she did the agility test, how people just stand still for so long, doing nothing in the precious seconds they waste. What sad creatures. As she flowed through and around people to the beam, her body bounced and reflected colourful beams in a beautiful emanation – balance was child’s play. Flood boy, over there! With DevikaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaWhy’s Floodboy got a mask on?She ran over to him and swiped it off of his face, it now dangling from her fingers as she twirled it around. “Flood, my dear, I didn’t know you have issues with your appearance. I think you’re a kissable hunk of a man.”Heeheehehe, with a luscious smile.

"I would suggest you don' look at that." Flood said as the beam's effects directed on her. "Ooh, too late." He said as the full effect of a level 15 fear beam focused on her.

"Of course, but that's why its going to be built into my mask. Hopefully one stare could create a lasted ng effect once I'm finished and the opponent could he somewhat handicapped by the fear throughout the fight. Let's have a taste of level 15." He said as he cranked the knob to level 15 and waited to see her reaction. "In all honesty, these levels are just me dumping more and more power into the device."
