"Working with a blind girl isn't weird. I know weird. Weird is having everything you touch begin freezing. Weird is when insects try to touch you and they instantly freeze solid. Weird is having to stay up all night because your bed and possessions in general will freeze solid if you stay still too long. Working with a blind girl is nothing compared to that stuff." He explained to her as he looked at the teachers to see if they were going to check his food.
"True strength comes from admitting you have weakness." Flood dropped a mad wisdom bomb. "I play guitar."
"Oh uh right." He responded as he cranked the pan up to its highest temperature and began cooking the eggs. He made it into an omelet like shape with the spatula and realized he never put the cheese in. He was also holding the pan by the rim instead of the handle. He shrugged cut in half and took his half out, with his bare hands, and put it on a plate.
Ryan shuffled his feet and looked around. It didn't seem as if anyone wanted to partner up with him. He shrugged and looked around at his ingredients and tools. He grabbed some eggs and cheese and began preparing to make an omelette.
Flood seemingly materialized out of thin air next to Zack and smiled. "I think I got this invisibility belt working. Now what was that about a talent show and Griffin joining?" He asked as he reached in his jacket and pulled out a harmonica. "If I know anything about loners, blues is the way to go." He said handing Zack the harmonica then disappearing again. He reappeared in a tree near by. "Maybe you could have him do a martial arts demonstration if that doesn't work out. He's probably good at that right? Or maybe you could do aerial acrobatics." Flood then started mumbling to himself something about flying oranges and how they didn't rhyme.
Ryan began walking to his next class wondering what it was. He hadn't payed too much attention to the schedule.
Tyler looked up from his book, shrugged, then went back to reading his book. "I'm sure he'll be fine."
Ryan walked to the obstacle course and began to attempt to traverse it's obstacles. He had good form actually but the ice that kept forming would constantly slip him up.
"Ok." Tyler responded as he made a chair rise from stone and sat down. He pulled out a book on advanced elemental magic and began reading for an hour.
Ryan sighed. "Can I go last at least? That way I don't ruin the course for the other students." He asked as he moved forward slightly.
