She looked truly unhappy. "Besides... I wouldn't want to be the cause of your death." She couldn't go through that again."Uh... spontaneous bathtime? I dunno." She shrugged a bit. "I always keep a paperback novel somewhere on me at all times. That way I am always armed." She grinned a bit. "Also, if I am ever bored, I have something to do."

Kijani tilted her head, slightly. She didn't fully know what language Reinhardt was speaking, but she knew that it was old. Certain words would have to go without being translated, and she tried to pick them out. "Impressive work, Lady Katla." Leaning back into a half seated position, she waited for the plane to land. "Flood, I'd keep that parachute on hand, just in case... Luck favors the prepared."

Kijani smiled to Flood. "I am going to see where this takes me- but I do want to return to school. My tuition is already paid, so there's no sense in wasting a good resources. Besides..." She blushed faintly, thinking of Connor. While she was certain he'd be upset with her, she hoped that he'd forgive her, once she told him why she'd gone. "Magneto is an extremist, and that's never really been my deal. So if things get too hot... I'm out the door. It's not like I've signed myself any contracts."--Devika hurt. Her head was throbbing, with all the p anic and excitement in the room. She saw several major heroes show up, and wanted to talk to them, to tell them what she'd seen. As soon as she stood, though, pain and nausea tore through her body. She wobbled and sad right back down. Silently she watched, and tried not to cry in pain.
