As me and Neo Anderson continue to wait, I gotta ask... Do we have a Google doc or equivalent for collaboration? Best RP I ever joined had it, it's what made it awesome.

For person-to-person collaboration? I'm afraid not. I've always done that through PMs with the individual(s). However, you're free to make one if you'd like!
~ Time Skip: 30 Minutes ~

Douglas Knowles

The first few minutes following the newcomers' entrance to the safehouse consisted primarily of rough introductions. The trio met 8th Street's other two residents, Ron and Patricia. Patty was her usual friendly self to the guys and gal; Ron gave a civil introduction, then made a quick retreat back to the rooftop. After that, Doug set about giving the group a tour of the facility. It wasn't much: the first floor was usable, but empty; the second floor was a common room of sorts, with a couple tables, couches, the radio system, and storage. Finally, the third floor was their living quarters. They had more than enough room for the three of them, in fact they likely could fit about a dozen or so, but any more and they'd need to find somewhere larger.

Just then, as if on cue, a small convoy -- two bikes flanking a car -- arrived on the street. All vehicles were pretty much packed, about six or seven in all. Doug furrowed his brow, unsure if the party was friend or foe. He was leaning toward optimism, however, and resolved to go check the group out. He nodded to Omar, who picked up a glock from storage and slid it into his back pocket, but otherwise kept his pleasant demeanor. Better safe than sorry, even with Ron on lookout. Doug looked over at the soldier, John, and nodded to him.
"Captain, mind coming with us to greet the new arrivals?" He asked. "I wouldn't mind a Navy Seal watching my back."
@FortunesFadedJust to confirm, the time skip will occur and place all the characters at the safe house correct?

It's going to place the apartment group at the safehouse, yes. As for the other group(s), I don't want to move them just yet as I feel that'd be a bit sudden and unrealistic.
To all: Sorry for all the confusion, I've been extremely busy the past couple days and haven't been able to sort all of this out. However, I'll be going through with the time skip tomorrow night. If you want to say/post anything else pertaining to the current group, do so before then. The time skip will only be about a half hour, and will apply to everyone (not just the apartment group). So the members already at the safehouse will be moved forward 30 minutes as well.

Updated!

<Snipped quote by FortunesFaded>

That's alot of missing characters...

Also, you missed Jeremy Lim, though to be fair, I didn't update my spot in the character tab.

Indeed. Though, to be fair, there's also quite a few active characters.

Yeah, I was waiting for you to edit him in. He's on there now.
To all: I've updated the Characters tab, re-organizing the roster (All inactive characters who aren't in a group with an active character are now marked as "missing"), adding in the newest accepted characters, and posting a bit of a teaser in the NPC section for what's to come down the road.
Desmond Williams

When the brunette woman admitted her loss to the group, Desmond momentarily lost his sense of urgency, replaced by a feeling of condolence. He looked around the room at the six others; all had taken different paths to where they stood now -- all had likely faced the loss of someone close. But this loss was so fresh, and real, at least to her.
"I'm sorry, Sarah," he spoke, maintaining eye contact. "For your loss. I know I'm just a stranger to you, but I mean every word." While it was true, he felt sympathy for the woman, it had been a long time since Desmond truly cared for anyone on Earth. His line between cordiality and companionship was about as wide as the English channel, and he'd since given up on trying to bridge the gap. He could have friends by his side, but as long as they remain just that, Desmond wouldn't be shaken up when, one day, they were gone.

The afternoon trudged on, and soon it would start getting dark. Desmond knew that they needed to leave: before it got too dark to travel, or any more corpses showed up. The first problem was that they were no group yet: nobody trusted anybody, really. Sure, Desmond trusted the woman he'd been traveling with up until the apartment, and it looked like Sarah trusted the soldier, but getting all of them to travel together? To watch each other's backs instead of their own? It was going to be tough. The second problem was that he simply had no idea where they were going. His partner mentioned 8th Street and he nodded, unfamiliar with the town as a whole but relieved at the discovery of a destination.
"Well, 8th Street sounds like as good a destination as any. I suppose, that's where we're going," he gestured to himself and his partner, whose name he still didn't have the slightest clue about. "Either our paths diverge here, or we can all travel together. But I know that today has been my first time seeing a friendly face -- let alone six -- in over a week. If we do split up, how much longer until we see another? So, let's decide here and now. Are we just a bunch of passing strangers, or are we a group?"
@FortunesFaded Well it doesn't need to be said, if anything he would be talking to the blonde to do some character development. As far as the plot goes the time skip would be very beneficial tonight oh great GM sir c:

So I'm writing my post and am a bit confused, does Cole intend on coming to the safehouse? Because the last post you did makes it seem like no.

Edit: I posted, but haven't time-skipped yet because I felt that if I did, it'd sorta be god-modding everyone's characters and I didn't want to do that (on the off-chance that the character doesn't want to go). SO, one more round of posting, then I'll time-skip. I tried to make the Desmond post incite a distinct yes-or-no discussion amongst the group, so that should sort out who will be going to the safehouse and who will be going their own way.
<Snipped quote by FortunesFaded>

Does that mean I should post? He's been posting two posts to my one, and I've just been waiting for Des and Scout to respond. Yet Hunter tends to post pretty fast so I don't want to fall behind him.

If you have something you think needs to be said/posted regarding the group and your character, go for it. Since things are starting to drag with the group, I'll likely be time-skipping/moving the group to the safehouse -- provided nobody objects -- in my next post, either tonight or tomorrow.
@Darkraven I'm sure she'll be on soon; it's only been a couple days since her last post here, so I'm not too worried.

Also, your other character is accepted.
