@FortunesFaded Would it be unreasonable if soon we time skipped the apartment group to being at the safe house, or at the very least, on their way? We can wrap things us, but I don't want to waste a few posts to make sure everybody's in, seats buckled, gas good, have everything, all that.

If not that's fine, but I was just suggesting.

@Darkraven Depends on how long you want to keep the NPC around. If they're going to die within your first few posts? Just go for it. Longer than that? A CS would be good. And if you aren't sure, PM me and I'll try to figure it out with you/

@Darkraven I really like the CS. Accepted! Though, small note, you don't need to list food/provisions under Belongings. Other than that, the CS looks good as is.

As for where to start out.. Hm, I wonder if there's any other character(s) who have been accepted, but have yet to come into the RP? Perhaps @Ktyria?

Anyway, if you could start somewhere a few blocks away or so from the safehouse, meet up with others, and then happen upon the rest of the group, it may be a little less awkward than just strolling right on up (because that's happened about 8 times)

@FortunesFaded and pretty much everyone else. 8th street safe zone is now the University of Delaware Downtown Center. Closest real life building on 8th street that matched your description. Plus it sits across from a Hotel and in walking distance to some interesting places players can visit. No good pictures exist of the building on Google images but you can find it easy enough by searching it's name in Google Maps. Use street view to get a good look at the place and it's surrounding area.

@FortunesFaded So I may have missed some details IC but I'm trying to look for information about this safe zone so I can describe it. I was going to go ahead and lay out the building in my next post from Chase's point of view but I wanted to make sure that you didn't already have your own vision for the building. If you do please let me know? Or if you want me to have creative freedom with it, I wouldn't mind that either.

At the moment I'm looking at some of the buildings that line 8th street on google maps using street view and such. There's some interesting places to post up.

Anyways I'm back from work and a little exhausted. Expect my next post no later than tonight.

The safehouse itself on 8th Street is a grey, pretty nondescript office building. There are signs around the street and in front of the building claiming that the area is safe. Inside, the first and second floors are empty (the door opens to a hall with a stairway headed up), and the third one -- an old insurance office, or something -- is where they've set up their meeting area, as well as the radio and food supplies. The fourth floor has a few mattresses and bedding in an otherwise empty room. Then there's the roof.

That's really all the description I wanted to give; feel free to give more and make the place your own. This will be the group's main base of operations for.. well, for now.
