Ulysses HAMMERJUSTICE

Ulysses had felt... something in his mind. For some reason, he had a difficult time putting any thoughts together, but he suddenly snapped back to reality when he realized something, to his eternal dismay. He had forgotten his favorite food entirely. Desperately, his mind worked to find any evidence of the information, to the exclusion of all other thoughts. He stood there, gazing into the distance, his expression a mixture of panic and desperation. He thought the cyborg may have been talking to him, but he couldn't afford any time. It was as if someone had stolen the information from his mind, and threw it in a paper shredder. He didn't even notice that Delphi had hopped off and wandered off. However, more pressing matters made themselves known. The cops were closing in.

Ulysses groaned. "The cops?! I can't kill cops! They haven't even done anything wrong!" He said. He walked through the ruined doorway, before hitting a series of buttons on the inside of his armor. The sound of various valves and hydraulics depressurizing was heard, and The armor opened up, allowing Ulysses to step out. The armor then folded itself into a box directly after he stepped out, whereby he raised his arms to show he was not armed. Whereby he waited, so he could explain to the cops his intentions and pay for the damages. (how much could it be? It's just some wood and drywall)

I just tried to join this RP see, and what it boils down to is that each character gets a spirit (WHICH CAN BE GODDAMN ANYTHING FROM DRAGON TO CYBORG SUPERSOLDIER) that grants them weapons. My guy had a 30mm machinegun (The only one I really couldn't do without), a grenade machinegun, and an icethrower. Now, the basic concept is the spirit weapons' power, damage, whatnot is determined by your characters' stats, not the weapon itself. this is to keep certain cool-looking weapons in balance with technologically inferior ones. But they said I couldn't have the goddamn machinegun! because 'oh, it's full auto, that's so unfair' One guy can summon a MOTHERFUCKING DRAGON. Not to mention that my weapons damage is affected by my POW stat and nothing else! so why is my gun overpowered? you can turn down its damage as much as they need to! I'm not trying to make a ridiculous overpowered character, I just want something cool! And the truly insulting part? Not only does it not say I can't have it anywhere in the OP, but they suggested I replace my HMG with a FUCKING CROSSBOW ON A BIPOD!!!! HOW DOES ONE LAY SUPPRESSING FIRE WITH A MOTHERFUCKING CROSSBOW?! AND THEY WERE OKAY WITH THE GRENADE MACHINEGUN AND THE LIQUID NITROGEN CANNON?! GO FUCK YOURSELVES!!!

I'm glad that in this RP tech is given proper proportionate importance. Because that RP will let you get away with any magical bullshit you can think of.

Thanks. I just don't want to fight and argue and piss everyone off for something I can't have. I am an all or nothing guy, I don't usually compromise. I used to get angry and basically throw tantrums about it, but now I simply go away or stop trying if it might come to that. see ya.

Alright, this is kinda why I don't want automatic weapons. Taking for example some of the other ranged weapons in consideration, we have bows or spears or primitive guns. While I could've gone with something like a mounted crossbow with a makeshift shield, the spraying ability makes it either far too powerful, or well... No time to deploy. It's either OP or useless, depending on the situation. Also, all weapons are summon-able at will also and effectively have infinite ammo, so the weight penalty doesn't work out.

Well, the weight penalty means he can't move very quickly with it. But, I can see I can't have what I want (extreme fire rates), So I'll just withdraw.
