This is asking for an RP in which the Southend-on-Sea furniture bots battle for control with the Korean casino bots, in an ultimate struggle that will destroy the world.

Suddenly building some kind of wall doesn't seem like a bad idea. Vote Frengo 2016 for RPG President.

Is it sad that I bought a 10yo Netbook from Ebay with the sole intent of using it just to write my RP posts?

Sea Gorillas are not a "personal" issue, and affect the entirety of mankind. It's morons like you that prevent social and cultural progress.

Gripus Probus

Hero of the East, Bane of Morven

Location: Campus Magnus

Gripus watched the interaction with interest, using the exchange to focus on the cloaked woman. That her garments seemed to be fighting impossibly hard to hide her flesh from the sun was a clue as to her being right off the bat, but that her tongue rolled so mockingly over High Elf concluded his suspicions.

"Enough of your goading, earth worm. Time and circumstances are such that we can not dally, trading insults and beating our chests - you may be afflicted with some illness of the ego, but I can see you are no mere crone. I have reason to believe that Magnor Dragonblade has returned, and if I am right, then these wasted words are each another nail in our coffins... if we ever have the privilege, of course," he spoke plainly, keeping his tone neutral. "Your friend is right," he continued, motioning to the Drow's apparent companion. "I am Gripus Probus, Hero of the East, and Bane of King Morven of the Sand Elves. King Morven was a fierce warrior and with a skill unequaled; I slew him, because he alienated himself from his own generals, his own men, and was weak as a result. You would be wise to learn what you can from his tragedy. Make no further attempts to irk my companion, and forget not that all races are bound by our impending doom."

With that, Gripus rounded his attention on the Drow's acquaintance, another heavily cloaked figure and possibly kin. "And your help is most welcome. I make for the west gate, where my horse awaits me. Gather any provisions you may need, and meet us there. We'll talk more once we're on the road." He nodded at the Drow, and then to Liliana. "Come, let us go forth."

@FateWeaver *Rolls up sleeves* I'm on it! No one upsets my tank!

EDIT: Wait, it wasn't that bad. I thought she might of out right called Liliana "a f**king c**t" or something lol.

But yeah I got a post coming up in a sec.
That was a grand ice breaker, FateWeaver. Straight to the point, saving us ten concurrent posts of small talk - superb job.

I think the natural progression of this interaction is to invite a response from the Drow or Half-Drow before I get a post in; Gripus hasn't really got much to add to what Liliana said.
Allow me to mercilessly bombard you all with my thoughts :D

We need to consolidate and progress.

Or in other terms,

We must gather our party before venturing forth.

And by that I mean, we need to know exactly who is readily available and then we can build on that. If we're missing most of the royal family permanently, mayhap we need to slip in some kind of reason why - perhaps an assassination attempt, that either succeded or forced the King/Queen to send their offspring away somewhere safe.

That then leaves the surviving/remaining royal family free to interact.

So then we fast forward the plot, Gormagh has been sent to bring news of recent events - perhaps by now, Galuntrung Keep is actively fighting against a fully fledged invasion of black hearted scoundrels - and he + the King/Queen debate the next course. I've also a lieutenant of Galuntrung already written up, perhaps he could be there instead, leaving Liara to handle the keep's operations. In any event, word reaches the crown of the troubles, the crown formulates a response, and we're away again.

Meanwhile Liara can be busying herself with the defense of Galuntrung and/or raiding enemy positions. I could throw Gormagh her way to provide her some interaction.

Then hopefully the two ends will eventually tie in quite nicely, preferably with the arrival of a whole army of the King's men.

After that, who knows?

This is all just my two pennies by the way, I'm not trying to hijack anything.

EDIT: Any remaining dark characters can be involving themselves in the kingdom's torment, either harassing Galuntrung keep/attacking it or busying themselves with murder elsewhere. All good characters outside of the whole war scene could be doing their own thing, too. I've not really got much in mind as far as they're concerned, but as they're free from any chains, the possibilities are more or less endless.
Gonna go right ahead and give a shout out to the undead players. Their little shenanigans are really blossoming into a fully fledged counter weight to the stories of the heroes.

Fully enjoyed reading all the posts, well played.
Who/what are we waiting for exactly? I'm sure this can carry on without Titan's guidance for a little while. I mean he's obviously busy being a cultural titan, mercilessly absorbing sub-cultures into his giant hive mind.

We could just dribble the ball a little? Ya know, snake it in and out of a few traffic cones. What matters most is that we keep the blood pumping, lest we grow tired or bored with the story and lose interest.
One of my guinea pigs has sustained a nasty scratch to its eye, and looks to be going blind. Yet, it is still shredding lettuce like I shred my bank balance.

Robust little critters. I mean, if someone gouged my eye out, I'd be pretty peeved and/or terrified and/or in immense pain. Guinea pigs? So long as their mouths work then who gives a fuck what's going on.

So I've got a guinea pig bundled in a kitchen towel under my arm, whilst typing this, and whilst trying to get dinner ready.

So yeah, that's what's going on in my life right now. Looking forward to part 2: "Mrs Frengo gets home, and throws a fit over the well being of her injured pet whilst Mr Frengo agonizes over potential vet expenses".

Hero of the East, Bane of Morven

"That's the mistress, or so it is," the little orphan said gleefully, pointing in the direction of a lone tree on the outskirts of Campus Magnus. It was far enough to be clean from the muck, but close enough to be enveloped in the settlement's less than heavenly smells. "Said she'd give me more coin if I could bring her good men, or so she did."

Gripus smiled at the orphan, amused by his common tongue. He reached into his robes, and pulled out five gold denarii. "There's another ten of those, if you can find me some people similar to the 'mistress'." The boy needn't ask nor hesitate, and was shot of Gripus and Liliana in the blink of an eye, losing himself in a passing throng of people. "This is no way for a boy to grow up," Gripus remarked bitterly.

The mage switched his attention back to the tree, and saw two robed figures. Both appeared feminine from their movements and body language, with one seemingly relaxed against the trunk, and the other offering her a flask. Gripus could feel their auras from where he stood, their intensity filling him with hope. Such powerful allies would be tools worth bargaining for. Though perhaps it was unwise for a formerly renowned member of the Imperial Magi to simply barge his way into their interaction.

"My lady," Gripus said, addressing Liliana. "Those are the two we seek, though be warned for they are powerful. Should they join us, our chances of success will be boosted threefold. Go, inquire as to their availability. I will remain at the rear, lest they cut me down," he finished with a chuckle.
@OneStoryToMany It's cool. One should never be afraid to state the facts, unless said facts somehow undermine me and I'm drunk typing, because then you're on a one way ticket to HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL or some rather in-cohesive rants and insults that result in me PMing you how sorry I am along with naked pictures of myself.

But I digress, there's a Drow and a half Drow that need seeing to.

So like has anyone else noticed, there's a bunch of pairs?

The two orphans, the two drow (I don't know if this counts since my character is only half-drow, but I digress), the two necromancers....and so on and so forth. Or am I just crazy?

Stacking might bother some GMs, but personally I'd rather people play something they have an actual interest in playing, as opposed to forcing them to make something "different" from the rest - cus ya know, they'll soon lose interest. I've been there myself.

Stack away my friends, stack away. Double the sexy Elf ladies, triple the sorrowful orphans and quadruple the snake children!
