Why do you RP?

I think the obvious answer could be escapism for most, but I genuinely RP to play in worlds and games that I cant access in video games, movies, or comic book, filling in the gaps of medium that don't exist yet.

I also like acting, quite a lot and this is good exercise of getting into a new characters head.

Well sadly I'm not american so maybe we would have to have separate regional meetups maybe a holiday one someday.

Xing Yi was enjoying the speed of hand to hand combat, he was so much more comfortable in this state, but he knew he would need to use his blade sooner or later, so using his free hand he swung his magical chinese sword from the draw to parry the incoming blow that was aimed for his thigh while his leg was raised. Now using that same leg he brought it down with immense speed and force to stamp on the flat of the blade which nearly cut him. The Werewolf had his right side facing him so his shoulder area was ungaurded. Xing yi threw a stiff shoalin punch from the arm that just elbowed the beast into the floor.

Rodetta was fresh from the roll but she was agile and fast, she drew the sword at same speed as the time it took her opponent to launch his attack. The Ryllan had made a swing at the her neck just as she swung at his abdomen, because of her crouched postion to the fairly tall man their two swords clashed together spectacularly. The impact of the of the blades meeting sent the force down her arm as she smiled with delight of a competitive battle. Her smile would be short lived though as the opponent had also attacked her weakly protected knee. She was able to see the attack as it came but wasn't able to bring her shield in the way in time as she was standing. The best she was able to do was raise he leg slightly as to not get caught in the kneecap directly. But the cold steel slicing into he shin area hurt frightfully. She cursed as the man drew first blood, all though the attack didn't cripple her the pain was somewhat distracting. She was now angry. Now that the man was right in front of her, she decided to fiercly headbutt her powerful foe, while his right and left hand were pre-occupied. With her shield ready to block any counter he threw back at her.

Rosanna looked at her watch, it was already approaching the later part of the afternoon and her shift wasn't even over yet. Her hair was a mess and her cream colored apron was beginning to chafe her a little bit she couldn't wait to go home and have a shower but she still had to serve drinks. At this time the coffee crowd were beginning to leave, usually to hit up Club LUSH and oggle over that beautiful DJ Nori that Nick Weston was always talking about, although he did hear him mention her name too which made her blush a little. She poured herself a Gin and Tonic while it was still fairly quiet and let her messy hair down from the crude bun she tied it up into during lunch time. Maybe she would go out in the town center later on if she had the energy. Until then she would finish the the day at the Mochavine.

Where are all the customers? are they all really already at Club LUSH or maybe they are all watching that Aoi Iwata movie...god damn she's so pretty...hmmph

Nick had just got home and was changing out of his school uniform from his irritating Saturday booster classes, as he was falling behind on pretty much every subject as he was only interested in his radio show. It was reasonable to say he was addicted to this radio show especially because he knew he had fans he decided to go on air quickly while on his hand held Playgear.

Nick Weston here folks! just a quick howdy-do live from my bedroom as I get ready for tonight! I've never been able to get into CLUB LUSH mainly because that massive dude Arty Grant keeps seeing past all my fake IDs, oh well I gotta keep trying right folks? Once again for you love birds the Aoi Iwata movie is screening at Shine Cinema and boy is she looking hot! I love the classical japanese look don't you! I tell you what I wouldn't mind seeing that beauty Nori Haywood in a Kimono! maybe LUSH should have a traditional night soon? hmm? hmm?
