Shards? Aria wondered. With the power to change the past? Something with that much power would certainly be dangerous. She agreed with Sylvia though. How would they know to trust the witch? It would be safer to destroy it than to allow it to fall into the wrong hands. She considered transforming back to talk and find out exactly what was going on, but with the arrival with the rest of the guild she thought it would be awkward to reveal herself. It had been so many years since she was last in the area, and she doubted that anyone would recognize her.

Lino shifted from foot to foot nervously as Dave thought through everything. He watched as Celina tried to convince her father. Even if this didn't work out, he would have to thank her for how much she was trying to help. She barely knew him after all. Lino's eyes widened when Dave said that they could find a place for him to say while he worked. "Wow, thank you sir, that would be great! I will be a hard worker, I will not let you down," he said, smiling. He hadn't expected Dave to be so generous. Maybe now he could finally start a life for himself, one without crime or theft.

Ah okay, was a bit confused. I will edit to remove the reference to the other researchers in the lab. I was also confused at @Jollan's post since my character is still in the other lab. Should I wait to reply until Audrey and Fukui join them in the main training room?

Another day, another battle, Reece thought as the Dusk snaked towards him with it's inhuman jerky movements. Reece raised his dagger that he was given when the creatures first invaded Traverse Town several months ago. They were seemingly endless. Reece didn't know why they were coming, but they wrought destruction everywhere they went. And to make it all worse Heartless had started showing up as well.

"Come on!" he shouted at the monster. "You can't keep this up," he taunted. His ploy worked, the nobody tilted its head to the side before coming at him. Reece jumped at it, slashing with his dagger. The Dusk dodged the blow, stretching out of the way as though it was made of rubber. It send Reece flying back with a strong hit. Reece quickly struggled back on his feet. He wouldn't let this Dusk get through the perimeter. There were still many citizens, young and old, who couldn't fight; he had to protect them. Summoning up all the energy he had, Reece ran right at the nobody. This time it wasn't fast enough to dodge. The monster exploded into black smoke as it was defeated. Yes! Reece thought with a grin. He was getting stronger.

His excitement quickly turned to dread. In the dusk's place three more portals formed. Some sort of shadowy creatures came out of them. Reece gulped when he recognized them. Neoshadows. He got into position, but he wasn't sure how well this fight would go. The most powerful of the invading heartless, and not just one but three.

A noise sounded behind him. Reece whirled around to see more portals, this time with nobodies. They rushed towards the heartless. The heartless leapt at the nobodies. Reece was caught in the middle of the two sides. He rose his dagger and started attacking wildly, not even sure what ones he was fighting. Shapes moved so fast that they blurred and mixed together.

But time seemed to freeze when the Neoshadow rose in front of Reece. He swiped his dagger at it. It dodged. He was about to try again when the creature attacked. Sharp talons dug into his chest. He cried out as he fell to the ground. The heartless raised its claws in the air for a final blow. Reece closed his eyes. But the attack never came. He opened his eyes again.

Reece was in some sort of new place. Everything there was unfamiliar. He hesitantly got back onto his feet, wincing slightly. He walked forward, trying to make sense of what had happened. Reece realized that his injuries seemed to be healing though as he went through the place. Soon he couldn't even feel it any more. In the distance was a figure standing. After the constant fighting and battles, Reece wasn't very trusting of the unknown, but he needed to find out what was going on. He walked over towards the person.

Appearance: He has short spiky red hair and amber colored eyes, and wears a light tan scarf, white long jacket, and blue jeans. He is about 5'8 tall and is slightly less than average weight.

"Oh no sir, I only met your daughter today," Lino said, flustered for a moment before realizing that he was just joking. He smiled slightly, it sounded like something his own dad would tease. He relaxed a bit, Celina's father seemed alright. "I am good with any kind of work, so that would be fine, Lino said, following Dave.

Lino frowned when Dave mentioned the number. He hadn't even heard of that system before. He was still thinking of something to say when Boice spoke up. Lino gave the girl a grateful look. "Yeah, that is right. No social assurance numbers in Italy. My fiscal number should work instead, right?" he asked, trying to act confident.

"That's pretty cool, I see what you mean," Lino said to Boice. Her skills with people did seem to be pretty remarkable from what he'd seen. Finally they got to the zoo. Lino gulped at Celina's words. The man standing at the entrance looked rather intimidating. Lino steeled his nerves though, and made himself to walk up to him. "Hello sir," Lino said with a smile (forced, though he had gotten good at making a false attempt look natural over the years). "My name is Lino," he said as he held out his hand.

Once everyone had figured out what weapons and devices they were going to need, Audrey started clearing off the tools from the table upon Fukui's instructions. She carried them back to where they were before, yelping when one of them went off and sent a laser shooting across the lab. Thankfully it hit in the target practice area rather than any of the other equipment. Audrey sighed and clicked the safety back on the gun before setting it down.
