I just realized.
...WE ONLY HAVE LIKE ONE FEMALE CHARACTER...

Yeah, umm >__>

A problem for another day I say xD

I could start thinking of a female character.
Alright, I'm back again. For me I'll hold off on posting until after Oz.

I like the posting speed we're going at now. Once to 'maybe' twice a day is good progress.

Here is some event ideas I'm thinking of. Let me know what you guys think:

Rival pokemon gangs are fighting over a town. The local Gym Leader notices the tension building up between the two groups and tries to make peace. The Rival gangs decide to join forces to take down the Gym Leader. Can the gym leader face off against both gangs and win? Or will the gangs be victorious and someone will have to come to the Gym Leader's rescue?

A famous thief has been getting away with robbing the people blind for quite a long time. Very few people have even seen a glimpse of the man, and no one has ever seen his face. It begs the question: What is helping him? What is his secret? A handsome reward will be offered for his capture and/or the return of a very important and valuable item. So valuable that the Hero of the day, who gets the item from the thief, might decide to keep it for themselves!

The Trainers decide to take a break from their journey to become pokemon league champions/get the eight badges/etc. and so they take a holiday at a very nice place. But things go terribly wrong.

A Tournament idea: One very popular tournament only allows double battles-where each trainer must send out two pokemon and have them battle the opposing trainer's two pokemon. The first Trainer to knock out both opposing pokemon win. All competitors get to stay in a lavish hotel with all the amenities one could want. This sounds pretty nice right, but there is a reason why so much nice living space is free for the battlers.

There will be tournament restrictions and rules in place to avoid cheating and make it more interesting for the audience to watch.

The champion of the tournament will receive a years worth of free admission to any festivals, concerts, and pokemon league front row seats to get the best view of the action of any battles you aren't participating in!

I'm off to work, be back later. :)
((Lol, I am trying not to laugh as I'm writing this, but uh... I am going to describe some pokemon moves. My descriptions might not be amazingly accurate. But bear with me, and I'm sure you'll see where I am coming from with these descriptions.))

Ray noticed another new trainer arrive and send out a Snivy. It looked like it already was comfortable with him, it was cool to see them together.

Turning back to the mentor, Ray was happy that the mentor liked him, but disappointed that his request was denied. Still though he was given the premier ball and he cherished it. His family, his mother most especially said that gifts were to be valued highly, because they are special in the sense that someone gave them to you, a small token of their kindness.

He nodded as he thought about his mom and how she must be missing him so much right now. Don't worry I'll make sure to see you soon. Ray hoped anyway. Depends if his journey allowed him the means to get back home.

"Thanks Flora, this is a really cool ball." Ray then watched as Sterling sent out his starter a penguin? It looked like a strong pokemon. Hearing about a battle Ray was quite eager to give his pokemon some practice and against the penguin seemed as good idea as any.

"Ok, Sterling lets have a battle." Ray challenged him and Sterling seemed to be happy to oblige. In short order him and Sterling faced off in the middle of a nearby field. an open outside arena, with the clear blue sky above, as a breeze ruffled his hair, this area did seem to Ray a great place to check out what his pokemon can do.

They both sent out their pokemon: His Totodile and Sterling's Piplup. Ray started off with a Leer attack where his Toto. opened his eyes wide, stared at the opposing pokemon while also putting his face forward aggressively. The piplup seemed scared and fell down for a second. It seemed too frightened to defend itself much.

Piplup replied with a pound attack, which looked like at least to Ray that piplup punched his totodile in the face.... C'mon Totodile you can be tough and win this one... C'mon Toto... Totodile obviously looked a little roughed up but he wasn't out of the battle yet.

For three turns the same moves encountered each other. Leer vs Pound. Totodile seemed almost to the point of falling over for a very long nap but he managed to keep his feet. Piplup looked almost defenceless from the repeated Leers. At last, as Totodile followed up its last leer with a next turn scratch, basically a slap with claws, the piplup didn't have enough defence to face the 'fearsome attack' and fell over, completely knocked out.

Ray returned his pokemon to his pokeball.

"It was a good battle Sterling. "Maybe you will win next time." He said in a friendly, good, sportsmanlike manner.

Alright, cool. But at times I think we should have collaboration posts. You know for like tournament battles where each of us has six pokemon in the battle just to trim down the amount of posts in the story. What do you think?

@Oz
@Oz I'm thinking of posting about battling Sterling. Can I post now? Or should I wait until later.

I think it would be ok to post now, it'll be more or less back and forth about a battle?

Or should we go to another place and decide who wins the battle?

EDITED: like a collaboration post. A post that was put together by more than one person before posted to the story.
@josephb Ok, thanks for letting us know. I have to say I'm kinda bad for that at times. (Forgetting to let people know myself. But I am working on it.)
@Mugin Sure thing. Go for it :)
Ray spun around pokeball and pokedex still bundled up in his arms, nearly forgotten as he almost dropped them. The voice belonged to somebody he never seen before, but seemed a confident guy to say the least. Ray nodded as he recollected what was said, that the Professor's name: Willow.

Time passed and Ray kind of just stood back and listened.

Ray was always a clever kid, sometimes too clever, and so as things continued to happen, he picked up on certain conversational clues you might say. The latest arrival or mystery man had a Jolteon. He learned that after eavesdropping on Elliot trying out his dex.

A couple other things Ray discovered about this older trainer with the brown eyes-He knew the Professor-He has been a trainer for a good while.

Good things to note, My goal is to be a strong trainer, so I have to watch out for all these new people and find out what I can. I'll also have to keep an eye out for an expert, that way I can learn fast and have an edge over everybody else.

He then blinked a few times, coming out of his thoughts, as he saw Elliot release his pokemon. It looked like a turtle and Ray guessed that it was a water type. "Cool, I'll show my starter."

Pressing the button on the pokeball, a red light shot out of it, and Totodile was sent out. Immediately it started dancing on the spot putting one foot in the air and then the other, with a wide mouth smile on its face. Ray grinned. "Well, at least it's happy."

Things seemed to calm down for a few minutes and Ray took a little time to take a look at the cleanliness and professional organization of the Laboratory. It impressed him.

Abruptly a man rushed in, and apologized to the prof. A minute later, Ray learned the dude is named Flora and a Mentor to us, our own expert. My own expert. Ray wanted exclusivity to this guy's time.

Thus he proposed a deal to him as he approached Flora, "Hey Flora, if you only mentor me-I'll make sure to impress everyone with my trainer skills."

I'm back. Usually I'm around this time of day for most of the week. (Whatever time it happens to be in your timezone, I have no clue. but it is late where I am.)
