Bert was deep in thought letting his cards slide together between his fingers when, "Nothing good on the missions board?"

The cards fell to the counter top as he turned to see Elise. "Well for me I've done most of them before. Capture this bad guy, save this person, protect this thing..." He said as he rolled his eyes to show he felt about all these old style missions.

He kind of knew Elise a little bit, he's seen the Guild Master speak about her before and Bert didn't remember a bad word said about her. He leaned towards her and whispered, "I've heard about a tournament between different guilds, and the winner gets a large amount of money and bragging rights." He grinned. "I'm going to enter it and hopefully win. What about yourself, Elise?" He asked with a twinkle in his eye. "Care to take a gamble?" He asked as he took a coin from his pocket and flipped it off his thumb and into the air.

I wonder if a grim reaper would hate an undead creature. I mean, they essentially are creatures that refuse to cooperate.

Aside from that, I still need to wait to see if Waltz is acceptable.

Well, I think Derek the Grim Reaper would view Waltz as a Threat, simply because he cannot 'collect' him and he wouldn't be sure the best way to fight an undead. So, he probably be careful around Waltz and avoid him unless something comes up that makes Derek decide he has to go after Waltz.

And yeah, I'm kinda jumping the gun too lol. I hope we get accepted! xD

In other news happy easter weekend, I'm going to see family tomorrow. :)

You know what sometimes I'm jumpy on saying stuff. Thinking about it now, keep it as is.

A battle of guys who deal in souls and abilities with the dead would be awesome. I look forward to battling you in story.

Character Name: Waltz
Race: Hollowed Spirit (the kind you fight in RPGs, where they can be killed by physical weapons and whatnot)

Appearance: Though he is normallyabout five or six times the size of an large human, he can appear to be a little taller than the average human. When moving about, his nody emits a ghastly aura that pulses in the air, making it seem more like disturbed water.

Personality: The character? They act well, in a neutral way. They'll do this and that, if there's a benefit for themselves, but if there's a big decision to be made, then they'll try to find the middle ground, or else try to find a way out of it. If anyone found their way into Waltz's lair, then he'd either have them killed, or send them away. No spirit likes their resting place disturbed, after all.
As for myself, personally, I'm the type of guy that would be choke on a big decision where no middle ground can be found. If I was sucked into the internet and became any of my characters, things would be worse, as I'd be panicked at that fact alone. In a fight, I'd hesitate to go on the offensive, and stay on the defensive. Also, if I become friends with with anyone, I pick up the habit of being accidentally rude.
Alignment: True Neutral

Powers: Levitation, intangibility
Abilities: Agility, Acrobatics
Magic:

• Memories of a Mage: The ability to use magic on par with the level of a Grand Mage. With it, Waltz can raise great pillars of flames, summon Blades of Magic to impale enemies, craft great blizzards, lightning storms, and tornadoes, among other things. Other magic included would be the white magic than can heal minor and deep injuries and wounds, and the ability to create barriers.
• Soul of a Spell-Weaver: The ability to combine multiple spells into a new, more powerful one.
• Soul Thief: When an enemy is weak enough, and their will is pathetic, then Waktz could gain the ability to devour their soul, so that he may use them for another time as a part of his undead forces.
• Soul of the Illusionist: Using the ghastly aura emitted from his body, Waltz can create temporary illusions.

Character Name: Derek
Race: Grim Reaper. Basically mortals or humans thought about death and often feared it. I, the Grim Reaper, you could say, I was born from their fear of death. "I'll never thank them though."

Appearance:
A skeleton with red eyes inside of a black cloak with the hood up. The cloak is a special one and it does not move even when there is a strong wind blowing against it. He also holds a very, very long scythe that is very sharp.
Personality: He looks out for himself all of the time. He's never understood friendship and why 'these mortals dont just fight for their own gain'. He is clever and will often resort to Trickery, and sneak attacks-anything he can do to get what he wants with no risk to himself.
Alignment:Chaotic Evil

Powers: He hovers above the ground, can see in the dark, his aura or presence causes small plants to wither and die in seconds while it makes big plants like grown trees get sick with a terrible disease. He can collect souls of anything who has died whether they have been killed or not. In order for him to collect the souls he needs to convince them to leave the realm in which they 'lived'. If he collects enough souls-he believes that he will become much stronger.
Abilities: Great Dexterity he can handle his huge scythe one handed and spin it around in a blur that is very difficult to see.
Magic: Flight of The Specter: When he is in the mood he can hover around three times as fast as normal, making it easy for him to attack or to get away.

Magician of Darkness: He controls darkness and can easily manipulate it. And so he is way stronger at night than any other time.

Lord of the Dead: He can summon, skeletons of the dead from nearby and use them as his own army and even if a skeleton is destroyed he can put the skeleton back together as if nothing happened to it.

Fairy Tail

Bert was in Fairy Tail's Guild Hall. He had already been awake since early in the morning-he wanted to get stuff done today. Looking around at the missions on the notice board nothing really made him excited enough to say, hell yeah I'll do that.

So he ordered a coffee from the lovely lady who runs a sort of bar that is the Guild Hall and took a seat by the bar's counter. What should I do today, try a new boring mission? Go around and see if I can meet some guildy that I haven't seen before? He didn't know, so he decided to shuffle some cards that he pulled out of his pocket to keep his mind off things.
