I don't like that part tho'. I probably didn't explained in OCC but I'll do it in IC for the others.

So...the moment a mage is born he starts to "leak" magical energy. The Empire has machines that detect any kind of magical energy ( no matter how small ) and immediately send Templar to catch mages. So...hiding Magi are a no-no. Also , the moment a Mage is caught and brought to the Citadel some blood is taken from him. That blood serves as a "tracking" device ( A phylactery is a vessel, often a glass vial, containing the essence of a magical being. The Templar use small phylacteries filled with blood—taken from a Magi to track down any Mage that somehow escapes ) so there are no hiding Magi. You are either caught and brought to the Citadel or you are killed on the spot.

Modify the part with hiding Magi ( etc ) and it's ok.

Also. Kil'garen themselves joined the Warrior Guild when the Magi War started but they've been able to retain their neutral status rather than be absorbed in by the promises of " protection and prosperity " like the other races.

Thank you very much. :) I edited the part about the Predisposition to the Magi, saying that basically Razer is indifferent to them because he has never met one.

(For the history edit I thought I'd mention how I want to edit it 'before' I edit it. Because the history has so many paragraphs and that way its easier to see what exactly I did.)

As for the warrior guild and the Kil'Garen being a part of it, what if I edit it saying, 'that Razer's parents knew why the Empire took Razer away, for Warrior Guild Recruitment, but Razer and the Warrior who took him away were not told this. Razer wasn't told this by his parents because he was too young. And the warrior who took him away wasn't told because he 'doesn't need to know.'

(I'll be honest, I'm trying to edit this way, because I think its easier for me than swapping up a bunch of the history! xD)

Appearance (I can find a picture if necessary, I only avoided because of the permissions required. I would have to ask their permission to use the picture and them give them credit thereafter. Its easier to just write up a description and have no picture.):A tiger that stands on two legs and has the green eyes. His fur looks just like that of a tiger with the orange and white fur with black stripes.
Razer weighs in at two hundred pounds, but his body is fit, showing off that he regularly excercises. His height is about 6'0".
Fur Color ( only if Kil'garen ) :Orange and white with black stripes.
Eye color :Green.
Height :6'0".
Skills:Navigation, Counting, Swimming.
Weapon Skills: He's best at the Quarterstaff (a thick 6' long metal pole).

His other weapon skill is dual wielding two swords and each sword has a 2' long blade.
History: (Saying this now, I will be throwing in a couple of names of places and stuff that I just made up.)

(Extra note: Let me know how much I have to change in the history as I know I am probably stepping on your toes, and I'd rather not do that.)

In the south east of Mal'Gar, there is a city called Vorilo. The place is a hubub of trade and craftsmanship. The Kil'garen were very happy as they had care-free lives, since the 'money making skills' in town were passed down from parents to children, generation to generation.

The community looked after each other. No one was abused. The ruling family made sure that everyone lived in harmony. This family's name were the Brunts and they are a royal family. They've been royalty ever since Razer's great, great, great, great, (about 10 more greats) grandfather defeated a vicious monster and saved the Kil'Garen species from extinction. That battle took place several hundred years ago.

Sadly things currently have taken a turn for the worse, and its been this way for a while. Vorilo is no longer a carefree place as the Empire has strict dominion over them. And as much as the Kil'garen do not like the Empire, they also know that if they resist they will be crushed under the Empire's mighty foot.

This was the case ever since the Empire won the war against the Magi, 100 years ago.

Now the Brunt's family's heir, is Razer, a young tigerish Kil'garen. He's been raised with care by his parents. Shown the ways of governance by his father at nightfall, and learning about how to get around the city and even swimming from his mother during daylight.

One thing was made clear by them, "Always give the Empire what they want. If they say go on your knees, you go on your knees and kiss their boots." His parent's words still ringing in his head from their constant lectures.

Occasionally Razer was able to slip away with an excuse to either his father or his mother, in order to get away from it all. He would cover his face and wear drabby clothes just so he could be an 'normal Kil'Garen' not 'Sir Prince Razer Brunt', and just have friendly conversation with others who didn't have royalty tied around their necks like he did.

When he was close to full grown, Razer's parents threw him into combat training. "You have got to learn to fight, boy, or you will end up on the end of a sword one day. That's the world we live in.", his father explained after Razer asked the no-no question ,'Why?'

So he spent quite a few years training daily with many different weapons, but the only ones he excelled at were swords and the quarterstaff. He even bested Vorillo's Guard Captain, defeating him in a one on one duel and the captain was recognized as the best swords man around.

One day, during one of the Empire's visits, a large group of disciplined soldiers led by a very scary looking warrior, came to get Razer and took him away back to the Citadel. They didn't give a reason why to his parents, despite their demanding to know.

Only after Razer asked for the tenth time, did the scary looking warrior gruffly say, "I haven't been told, but to me its pretty obvious, your a good fighter. Also is it not better to be at the Citadel than a dead threat to the Empire?" Razer nodded in agreement.

Once at the Citadel Razer was given the option to serve the Citadel or be executed. Not surprisingly, he chose to serve.





Predisposition to the Magi:Razer is indifferent to the Magi, they are strangers to him as Razer has never even met a single Magi.
Personality :
Despite being royalty, Razer is far from aloof. He is friendly enough and willing to greet others despite what they look like.

He is also honest. He will refuse to lie even to spare someone's feelings. Razer's motto is, "Let the Truth be known", although there are rare exceptions, like if saying the truth will get him killed, then obviously he isn't stupid enough to do that.

He is also very attentive, that is to the point of stopping to listen at doors and walls, just to see if something is going on at the other side.

He does have alot of pride though and if someone insults him or his family, Razer has a tendency to become enraged.
Notes ( things purely for story ) : I don't have any of these. I'm sorry.

Bumping this, because it deserves bumping.

Rebirth: Return of the Dragons!

Name: Gordo
Gender: Male
Species: Dragon
Age: Not Hatched.
Appearance: In a very circular shaped, brown spotted, white egg.

Personality: He is impatient at being cramped in a small space inside the egg. But if he ever thought about it, he wouldn't remember a time he was ever patient. Rather he would always refuse to wait and simply take off on his own instead.

He is curious, as he loves to look at things, spending copious amounts of time, examining what the average dragon might only glance at.

He is a complainer. Anything goes wrong, and he'll mutter about it to himself if he hasn't an audience or vocalise his problems constantly to others around him. Good or bad to complain? He doesn't know, but complaining is almost instinctive to him...

Jealous guy, if he likes something/someone, and he can't have that thing or other dragon, he will try to get rid of the 'problem'... Don't covet thy neighbour. Don't be obsessive with objects, putting your love into them. "Yeah.... Gordo, more than likely wouldn't listen to that advice..."

Lastly, he is honest and will say it (as cliche as this sounds) 'how it is'.

Bio: Gordo, doesn't remember anything about his parents because he was always inside the egg, since as far back as he can remember. But he does remember, feeling himself be lifted high into the sky and then placed on a soft surface. It was comfortable to him and allowed him to fall asleep easily.

Far above Gordo, stood his parents, both covered in brown scales and fairly tall dragons. His mother would stay home, watching over the nest, protecting it. While the Father would hunt daily, each day going further and further out not only for food, but to explore more of the world he had yet to see.

Soon, his father stopped returning to the nest which broke his mother's heart out of worry. But she knew her responsibility was to her son and so, she did not take off in search for the father, instead she stuck to the nest, as its only protector.

When she had to go and get food for them both, she made sure the egg was not visible to the naked eye, and only left for the bare minimum amount of time she had to. At night his mother would sing Gordo a song that would always put him to sleep right away.

Power 1:(I guess he can use it after he hatches?) Blending in: He can change the color of his entire body, including his eyes to blend in with his surroundings, making it very difficult to see him, especially when he is standing still.
Type of Dragon:Western Dragon.
Family: Father is Spike and his mother is called Cera
Friends: None at the moment.
Sentimental Attachment: his mother Cera.
Other: He loves food. It seems like he never stops eating.

Sandbox Ideas

I've been on and off this site for a long time....

Now, since coming back, what I'm looking to start 'myself'-

-Is a free flowing roleplay.

What I mean by this is a roleplay with a lot less restrictions upon characters.

Or in other words:

-Everyone can decide where they want to go in the world.
-Players can add locations to the roleplay, associations (or groups), a timeline or the age in which the world exists. Also if we are feeling very frisky we could have more than one world. It's all up for debate. (Unless an idea is totally ridiculous, I think you know what I mean by that...)

What I do want to avoid since this is basically a sandbox style story, is basing it off an already existing universe.

For example: People can use magic in the sandbox story, but there is no harry potter, there are no crucio! spells.

Why? I want this story to have more original characters, places, character abilities, etc. etc... Let your mind run wild.

Ok, so a couple sentences to describe something in possible sandboxe(s). (<----- it could all be in one sandbox, again trying to avoid restrictions upon this rp as much as possible.) Some baseline descriptions:

Idea a.) A huge city, with the best of shopping malls, universities, swimming pools. You name it, it has quality services but they come with a hefty price.

Next to this city are a couple of villages, the villages have been struggling to get by. Resources around these shabby 'neighbourhoods' have been running low to nothing. So the villagers have asked the city for help, but have been turned down. So the villagers have resorted to stealing from the city. The city dwellers, especially the Mayor have become pissed off at the villagers.

(This is just a starting point, there is a lot of freedom with any of these 'ideas.')

b.)There is a lost teenager, he woke up to find himself in a strange place. His memory of what happened to him is wiped, gone, doesn't exist. He feels that there is something missing to him and he desperately wants to find that missing piece. So, he travels the world in search of answers, meeting others, good and bad.
