Anyone else get a little tense when they see a Norse God has inspected their bio page? Just me? I’m the weird one? Okay, that makes sense.

If the Rattle drops, it’s all for naught. A testament to the high hopes parents have in their progeny. The following disillusionment is painful to behold.

Bio

At any given time I may be listening to EDM.

Onions are both a garnish as well as an entree if you know what you’re doing.

As many times as I have felt low, I have never once been high.

I have only been drunk once. Turns out it actually was the answer that time.

I have an older sister, but you’ll never hear me call her onee-chan.

If you hadn’t realized it by now, I am staggeringly boring. Role play helps me escape the mundanity of my existence and become someone fantastic. I’m a bit rusty when it comes to interacting with people, and that shyness stops me from joining most rps. Hopefully I’ll be able to overcome that soon and join the wider community. If not, well, there’s always a convenient dark corner to watch things from.

Most comfortable with small group RP and 1x1. I do mostly casual RP and some advanced. Open to all genres as long as the premise is good.

Name: Lucas Ross

Age: 14 (01/11/13)

Grade: Freshman

Bio: Lucas Ross is an orphan living with Foster parents Theo and Amaretta Jackson. His birth parents had left him at the doorstep of a local firehouse and eventually he found himself shuffling about the system. He wasn’t a bad kid, on the contrary he was a very quiet and meek boy, which is why he found himself being exploited by the man he’d been living with when his powers emerged. That had been a tough year, and in the end his guardian had abandoned him once he’d gotten everything he wanted. Social services never knew the details of his time with that man, and Lucas had been too afraid to talk about it. Theo and Amaretta had been a Godsend. The two of them were older, if not quite elderly, and had years of experience with stubborn youths. They’ve only spent a summer with him, but Lucas was beginning to open up to them, whether he likes it or not!

Appearance: Lucas is a thin boy, Caucasian, raven haired with deep blue eyes that are half hidden behind a pair of large round glasses. His skin is often pale nfrom lack of regular sunlight exposure. A sedentary lifestyle has left him physically average, though his legs are fit due to his daily walks to and from school. He prefers denim shorts or pants, sneakers, and pullover hoodies that have varying lengths of sleeves depending on the weather. He is literally never seen without an odd old smart watch that appears heavily modified.

Personality: The boy is a loner that prefers to sit quietly and people watch. His standoffish behavior and blunt analyses of observations can sometimes be misread as rudeness. Because there are so few people he actually cares for, he is viciously protective of them. The trauma of his past has instilled a fear in Lucas that makes him reluctant to utilize his gift, and he often finds his own traitorous mind calling himself a Freak.

Gift: Technoturge: Like the Thaumaturgists of old who performed miracles with “magic” a Technoturge can perform near-miracles with almost any form of technology. With this gift any broken tech can be repaired with time and the right materials, no matter how severe the damage. Coding and programming languages come easily. The downside is that Technoturges tend to have less understanding of the chaotic nuances of the human condition, making it difficult to socialize.
Alright, I’ve come this far, I’ll take the next step and toss my name in for consideration. I’ll get to work on a CS while I await the official decision. :D @Laser Kiwi
I’m intrigued by the idea. I hesitate only because I am very, very new to the Guild and I worry I may take time getting the hang of everything. I am also cripplingly introverted, so there’s that whole bag of badgers to deal with.
You step through the weathered oak door, the wood stained a rich and deep brown and pitted with marks and old scratches, and the warmth invades your senses. Then the scent of mint and other herbs tickles at your nose. The redwood floorboards creak at your step, though the sound is not grating or irksome. Your vision is filled with shelves upon shelves of various things, some mundane and some fantastic, your head threatens to swivel from your shoulders, though you manage to restrain yourself, if only just. The northern wall of the spacious shop front is dominated by a large red brick hearth, the fire dancing among the coals almost jubilant in their manner. Various pots and planters decorate the sills of the large, white-frosted windows and within grow an apothecary’s delight of rare herbs and fungi. The west facing wall is adorned with weapons of all kinds, even several that look ill-fit for any proper warrior. And finally, at the very back of the shop, there is a counter of polished mahogany, and behind that sturdy counter stands me.

Hair the color of roses frames a pale white face. Two blue eyes peer through thin, square-framed glasses. Lips, thin and pink, set in a perpetual smile that welcomes all with warmth and good tidings. A masculine jaw sits crooked, a sign of past injury long since reset incorrectly. My clothes are simple, a red tunic and forest green leggings, dark leather boots and fingerless gloves. I wear a belt of dark leather with pouches tied securely, the soft jingle of coin a clear indication of their contents. I wear no weapon, not even a simple dagger, because within my shop all are safe from that which lingers in the cold and dark places.

I smile and with a wave of my hand I bid thee,
“Welcome, traveller.”

My pen name online for the past several years is Garnetio Solozari. I’m a man in my thirties (early thirties!) and I’ve been roleplaying since the early millennium. I enjoy all genres with the exception of Phantom of the Opera (it knows what it did!) I prefer small groups, 1x1 is best, and I enjoy both slow detailed posting as well as faster paced one-liners. As for hobbies, I’m a huge fan of video games, and I’m also a Fanfiction writer.
