I'd be interested in doing the Batman Club idea if it were set in the 1966 TV show universe.

I would prefer to do a more dark / grim Gotham (like the current show).
I'm looking for new ways to roleplay outside of the norm; I'll be using a simplified ruleset to the game Fiasco as a basis for roleplay.

The concept is simple; we begin the RP with 8 tokens; 4 white, 4 black.

An "Arc" is made up of eight scenes in this RP. Each scene is represented by a token.

Whoever's turn the scene is, the player can either choose to establish or resolve a scene. If the player chooses to establish the scene, they may choose the set-up of how the scene will start (I.e. You are a muggle parent who finds out your child is a wizard).

If you established the scene, your partner gets to decide if the outcome of that scene will bring trouble or good to your character later in the story.

From the 8 tokens available your partner chooses one; black means a bad outcome later for the character, white means good.

By the time 8 scenes are done the tokens will be split between both players.

Also, instead of establishing a scene, a player can ask their partner to establish the set-up instead. Doing this means the player can choose a token from the remaining pile.

Once all the scenes have been played out / written; players then tally up the tokens they have.

BLACK TOKENS
If you have...
4 = A great tragedy that will leave your character physically and emotionally scarred happens
3 = A bad end result; they end up humiliated, they fail just at the pivotal moment they needed to succeed, with permanent consequences.

2 = Poor result, they fail something trivial or suffer a bad bit of misfortune. They'll get over it, eventually.

1 = A minor, almost comical setback.

WHITE TOKENS
If you have...
4 = A great joyful end to your recent endeavours pulls off. The stars align, your instincts pulled off - a happy ending and happy memories are made.

3 = Something great happens, a lucky break or a plan works out better than expected.

2 = Good times, things went pretty well . Something to smile about.

1 = A minor joyful thing happens.

There is a "cool down" period where our characters have to live with the result of their fortunes and misfortunes; eventually the time will come again for a new Arc.

That's it. From this we can add real weight and unexpected changes into our roleplay.

Here are the RPS I'd be interested in doing:

- Harry Potter (OC char), first year slice of life.

- Marvel Universe where currently only mutants exist but are not yet publicly known. We're rookie OC students at Xavier's School. (Non-mutant heroes/villains can come in later).

- Batman Universe (no Superman, or Justice League, etc). We're teenagers at an orphanage in Gotham, we form the "Batman Club"-- our goal is to figure out the real identity of The Batman.

- A teenage boy (me) and a beautiful (Twilight-style) "teenage" girl vampire become entangled in the other's lives.
