So you'll start Kieran in the fantasy world and then make him sort of stumble into the modern world? That's fine with me. I'll get a post up for us, not sure I should write for Devon yet or not, though he could probably cross paths with Rhys in some sort of bar, though we'll need to give them something to do. Perhaps some evil doers are looking for magicians and they end up saving the day?

I figure I would have Devon sort of the one seeking out the various members, with some either "gut feeling" based on what he may have seen through Kieran's own muddled vision, or something like that. I'm fine with Kieran and Anabelle getting to know one another, would he have tracked Ana down with his powers?

I've seen a lot of "Next Generation" episodes thanks to BBC America and Netflix and I think it's time I try roleplaying it. I will make a disclaimer and say that I have yet to fully grasp some of the political and alien sort of relationships. If you're a fan who is willing to help quickly explain any needed backstory, I am all ears. Otherwise, I have Google, I should be able to figure things out and connect the dots on my own. I'm just saying to be patient with me. Since I've yet to get my feet wet, I'd like to stick to canon characters and keep OCs or crossovers at bay until I'm comfortable with things. It may sound funny to some, but writing as canons is a lot easier for me than to make one up and push it into a world it may not belong in.

My writing level is casual to advanced but I prefer advanced.

In terms of roles, I'm willing to try the basic cast, those with a * by them are roles I could try to tackle. So if any fans of Captain Picard are out there, give me a call.

I got mine together, hopefully you're alright with what I did for Devon, as I think we wanted at least two of our roles to already know one another.

Should we kick this off with your guy and my girl in the modern world? Did you want my guy coming to the modern world to meet them as well?

Name: Anabelle Oasis
Age: 24
Magic: Healer
Persona: Kind, generous, naive, and weak willed.
Biography:

She and her mother fled to the modern world when Ana was just four years old. Her mother was a Healer and did her best to cover up any outbursts that Ana had concerning her gift. Her mother was someone who sided with the evil that began to spread across the fantasy realm. She ran away with their daughter and promised to go back when it was safe. Growing up, Ana would often heal easily but never questioned it. Her mother would sometimes joke and say Ana was magical but it was taken in jest. Twenty years after adjusting to modern life, Anabelle has gotten a degree in Nursing and hopes to further her education, she works at a local hospital and still lives with mother who can sometimes be a bit protective.

Persona: Straight forward and to the point, reliable and charming.
Biography:

He was born right as the chaos descended upon the world. He crossed paths with Kieran a few times and both became friends, connecting on the basis that their world had to be saved somehow. Devon could sense Kieran was still getting a hold of his powers so they decided to part ways until they could make more progress together. Devon spends his time roaming the areas, looking for magicians who have hidden away. He once looked into Kieran's mind and saw blurry visions of the future but Devon has been unsuccessful in deciphering them. He holds onto the hope that there will be a way to put an end to the pointless bloodshed.

It took me a while to like 11, though I loved his first episode to bits. I was just thrown off because of him and Amy and then Amy and Rory and then stupid fucking River comes back to make it a bigger mess. Eh I love just sticking around in Nine's era, can't mess with the best if you ask me.

I should get a post up tonight. I have Game of Thrones but I'm still so sad by last night's Orphan Black. One of my fave guys was killed by an idiot. >.<'
