Would she see her home again, if she followed the unknown boy from an unknown land?

Responsibility couldn't be placed solely on his shoulders though, it wasn't fair.

Urkwia couldn't pick and choose what to investigate. She was a scientist and she couldn't be biased or afraid. She had to follow whatever progress was made. Telio was confident in his response to go and she envied that trait of bold ferocity. The girl looked off and ceased her tapping as she set the stones back on the table, almost changing her mind. Or at the least, being more careful. Telio continued to talk, mentoned that the portal would be his own way to go home. She had forgotten for a moment, that he was somewhat lost in hers, and if she were in his position, she would also want to do whatever she could to go back to her family.

Her guilt and uneasiness was cut short when he mentioned that there could be many other worlds, which would make their goal much harder to obtain. Was it possible that they could wind up in someplace else? Someplace alien? Someplace uninhabitable. "I'd like to think that...we would go where Sapphires may be found, maybe it's your world and mine, since we were the ones who had been behind the activity..." She speculated, though it wasn't just to speculate, but to calm her own nerves. Was it possible that there were others, in other worlds who were like them? People who had magic but were on the cusp of exploring its usefulness and risks? Urkwia licked her lips and took a deep breath. This was a lot to handle.

Thankfully the conversation went back to a more positive light as Telio mentioned what they may need for their potential progress.

"Y-yes. I help you with whatever you may need." She nodded faintly.

"I do have a trusted companion, I will ask him to provide his services to us-your quest." She cleared her throat. Urkwia was undecided as to what she would do. Her mind could create endless situations and possibilities but they would mean nothing when the opportunity would present itself. She let the first chance slip through her fingers and while she had no regrets, she wasn't sure she'd be able to say the same thing, the second time around. "His name is Nah and he has helped me in the past with gem studies though he's more bound by duty than curiosity." She told Telio. "Even so, he is a strong Knight and I've known him all of my life and I trust him completely." She said. "He won't be a servant per say but he has been able to assist me, more like an equal." She walked over to the stairs and headed on up.

In five minutes, she returned with a silver haired man in armor. Nah was close behind Urkwia. They looked related but they weren't. "The Princess has explained everything to me, provisions can be ready tomorrow morning at the earliest." He said and glanced to the woman, seeming uncertain about the request but he wasn't one to back down. He had sworn his life to Urkwia and if she needed him to go with the stranger named Telio, he would do so with honor.

"Thank you, that's wonderful." She smiled. "I can show you to your room, I'm sure you're tired." She looked back to Telio. It wasn't too late in the day, there were still a few hours of sunlight left, but the long haired girl wasn't sure what Telio wanted to do. She wasn't even sure what she would want to do now. Study the sapphires. "I could show you where I've harvested them..." She mused thoughtfully.

"Are you sure you should?" Nah questioned her. This earned him a look and he relented, knowing there was no point. Once she set her mind to something, near anything, there was little he could do to protect her. "Shall I accompany you?"

Urkwia looked back to Telio. "Keep a good distance." It would be good for the two males to get along but she wanted to test the waters herself and see if they would be a good fit, if not, she'd have to bring someone else up to speed. While Nah was skeptical about her work, he at least knew what she did while no one really did.
Bump.
Got a post up, had the direwolf run off, though it could have stayed I suppose. You're free to have Joffrey stumble upon Arya, or if you'd rather, we can skip to them arriving in King's Landing?
Looking from Joffrey to Mycah, Arya felt her anger surge. Sansa had just butted in yet again, and Arya was sick of it. Her mother always loved how wonderful Sansa was with embroidery and acting lady-like and yet it seemed Arya couldn't get away from disapproving looks even on the road, a long way from him. Sansa was giving her a sour look as Arya looked back to the boys. The brunette didn't want to be brushed aside, not any longer. "Stop." She protested as Joffrey told Mycah to pick up his sword. A dangerous amount of anxiety swelled up inside of Arya as she licked her lips, trying to gauge how to handle the situation. Just minutes ago, everything had been fine and she had been having fun. Joffrey was being a bully and Arya couldn't help but squirm in her position. "If you're going to belittle him, you might as well be talking to me too!" She spoke up. Sure, Mycah wasn't a highborn like herself but to her, they were both at fault or not at all. Joffrey couldn't pick his battles, couldn't pick the weakest one to pick one.

"Arya!" Sansa gasped and looked at her sister, her mouth hanging open with horror. "Shut up." She hissed at her younger sister and tried to motion her over to where she stood, out of the way. "Come here."

"She asked me t-to..." Mycah tried to explain as he picked it up, his eyes staying on the blond, just in case.

"I did." Arya added as she hurried over and moved between Joffrey and Mycah. "You don't have to pick on him, he was helping me. i asked him to." She tried to explain. The girl wasn't sure why or even how Joffrey was bothered by this display. She just didn't understand it. "Mycah, get out of here." She muttered, glancing over her shoulder before she looked back at Joffrey. He was older and taller than her. His eyes weren't quite filled with malice or ill-intent, in fact, Arya couldn't quite deduce his expression or reasoning. While she ran around with boys in Winterfell, she never really thought much of the opposite sex. Arya knew Sansa had probably kissed a few boys or something but it was never on Arya's mind.

She vaguely wondered what Sansa and Joffrey might see in one another, they were both pretty annoying in her mind.

The pudgy butcher's boy was quick to waddle off back to the Inn. Arya gripped her sword and she heard a low growl and before she knew what had happened, Nymeria had gotten to her feet. The direwolf let out a growl, obviously wanting to defend its master and nipped at Joffrey's hand which was holding his sword. "Nymeria!" Arya called out. She may not care for Joffrey but she didn't want him to get hurt because of her or her pet. "No!" She said disapprovingly. It seemed her exclamation had attracted some attention, as she could hear her father and Joffrey's getting closer. And from the sound of it, her father was quite worried. "I-I'm alright!" She called out in a futile attempt to delay them from crossing paths. "I am so sorry." Arya spurted out as she took a step closer to Joffrey, her blade being slipped away properly.

What was once anxiety, was now dread and guilt. Arya was sure that she was going to get in trouble for using Needle but for Nymeria's attack. "She didn't mean it, she was just scared for me. I think." She said. Sansa hurried over to try and look at the wound herself but it seemed as though it wasn't bleeding, if it was, it wasn't much. Joffrey seemed more annoyed at the event, rather than the circumstances surrounding it. He mentioned that they wouldn't tell anyone, which was fine by Arya. Still, she did feel bad about what happened but if he wasn't going to tell his father, that was fine with her. Sansa on the other hand seemed quite distraught and when the two men, plus a few guards found them by the lake, she could only stammer a few words before she headed off to find some shade to sit in.

Arya glanced to Joffrey, not sure if she could trust him or not. He was a hard book to read and it made her very leery. She pressed her lips together and headed off when her father summoned her. It wasn't yet time for dinner but it seemed the parents had sensed something had happened, even if the children had denied anything happening. Arya lied and told her father she had seen a terrifying bug. It was obviously a lie since she wasn't really scared of such things but it seemed Eddard wasn't going to follow up with the matter. When supper came, that night, Arya had been unable to track Nymeria down, who had taken off to the woods after the attack. She knew she had to go join the others and eat but she was too worried about her wolf to think about making small talk with idiots at the Inn. "Nymeria!" She called out. Another scarce face was Mycah but she hoped to say goodbye before they did continue on their journey.
Fine with me, as long as she aged accordingly.
Life's been busy suddenly but right when it calmed down, the site is also giving me issues. It seems to have settled down for the time being so I'll try and get something up shortly. I'm just job hunting so I don't see anything taking me away suddenly.
God, I've been busy and the first chance I have to spend a day online writing, the site says NOPE. -___-

I've been alright, job hunting again, taking day trips, yadda yadda yadda. How about you?

It's so flipping hot here...I might actually die.
I got something up. If we wanted to skip to later in the year or something, we can probably do that?
He accepted her hand which was quite a relief.

She'd hate to have to dance all by herself.

"Good, yeah me too." Sasha replied happily to James. They weren't well versed in dancing but it didn't really matter. Supposedly they were going to be taught various forms of dance during their time in high school but she wasn't even thinking about how to do things properly. All she wanted was to have fun with James. She moved her arms around his neck loosely when their hands disconnected, following his lead. Sasha found herself starting tune out the music as they moved along, trying not to stumble over rocks or each other's feet. Her eyes were torn between looking at him or anywhere else.

She was sure her face was a bit red and she decided that for the next dance, they might need to bring some beer or something. Just to not be so awkward. Maybe. James moved a hand to the side of her face as the song began to fade away and she was sure her heart had ceased beating. Her evil plan was working but a small frantic part of her wanted to abort. Was this okay? Sasha looked to James and then surrendered, closing her eyes as his lips met hers. He soon pulled back and tried to stiffen his awkwardness. She found it all very cute. "Um yeah..." She said, though any other possible words she could think of were lost in the wind.

Since she neglected to put her music on lock so it ended up going onto the next one, Thunder Clatter by Wild Cub. She wasn't thinking much about whatever came on, it could be horrible heavy metal for all she cared. "Brilliant really." She said, her face feeling like it was on fire. It wasn't so bad though, because the wind was picking up. And staying warm and so close to James was a great way to combat that. When she caught her breath, she leaned up and slipped her hands down from his neck to around his lower back. Leaning up, she pressed her lips back to James', her eyes closing once again.

Yeah, this wasn't so bad. If they had stayed back at the dance, they might not get to kiss. Staying in the same place never did anyone any good in the long run it seems. Suddenly her ringtone broke through the mood and the music. "S-sorry!" She jumped backwards and hurried over to her phone and saw it was her mother calling. Sasha rolled her eyes and just ignored it and glanced back to James. The clock showed she had time but it seemed her parental units were using some other super fast clock to tell time. Quite unfair and embarrassing. Just when things were getting good, she had to go back home.

"I guess I better go before they send a search party." Sasha muttered and cleared her throat. What a mood killer. "Um d'you wanna hang out this weekend...?" Better to try and end on a good note, rather than a weird one right?
So it seems, I'll try and get something up soon.

Should I skip in my post or wait?
