For now she had to retreat and go get something to eat. It seemed like Sansa had found other people to dine with, Queen Cersei included. Arya wasn't interested in stuffy small talk. So the brunette found another section to sit down and eat. She was still worried about her direwolf. She didn't feel comfortable leaving the inn without her but she didn't have much of a choice. The rest of the traveling went by without much event. Having had to leave Nymeria behind, the girl had fallen into a bit of a depression. Sure, venturing to King's Landing could be exciting but she felt more alone now. Sansa wasn't very supportive and her father was busy with King Robert.

All she had to distract herself was the idea of honing her skills with Needle. In her heart, she hoped that Nymeria would show up. As the parade of wagons entered King's Landing, Arya couldn't help but welcome the new setting. It was safe to say Sansa was even more awestruck though. As they had neared the city by the bay, Sansa kept asking random questions about the fashions and customs, her eyes filled with eager light. Arya on the other hand, was interested but kept her own emotions at bay. After all, they were further from home and further from her direwolf.

They pulled up in front of the large castle and everyone got out. A large crowd had gathered to welcome home their royalty. Not many people cared to see the Starks arrive. Either way, everyone migrated into the castle and the three Starks were shown to their designated quarters. The others who had come would get different accommodations. As they began to unpack, Sansa spoke of getting a tour. "Ask your boyfriend." Arya rolled her eyes, her own patience having nearly run out. Being stuck with her sister in a cramped space for so long had its side effects.

"Maybe I will." Sansa smiled as she began to mess with her hair, sitting in front of the mirror.

"You should go too." Ned told Arya as he went to the door.

"I don't want to. Why can I go with you?"

"I have to meet with everyone here, I'll be back tonight. Sansa, keep an eye on her." The man said and headed out. Arya took a seat at the table and couldn't help but let her expression fall. She didn't want a tour of the castle. She would much rather find her own way around. And she especially didn't want to hang out with Joffrey and Sansa. Gross. Sansa came out into the main sitting room and the two girls headed out to figure out where Joffrey was. Arya lingered behind her sister as they walked around and were soon directed to where Joffrey was, as it seemed, speaking with his mother. Sansa and Arya waited in the hall as one of the guards knocked and announced their arrival. When they were given permission to enter, they did.

"It's so beautiful here." Sansa commented politely. "I was...was wondering if we could have a tour your grace." Sansa said nervously. "Our father has stepped out for the rest of the afternoon...if you're tired and need to rest, we understand."

Arya looked from her sister to the blondes in front of her, hoping a tour was out of the question, it meant she could sneak off and do something of actual interest.
They headed back and she leaned against him as they walked, rather close, back home. "I dunno." She grinned. "Do I need to say anything? Do they need to know?" She shrugged a little. "I guess I say I had a good time." She wouldn't be lying there. "What about you?" Sasha asked him, wondering what sort of things he'd tell his parents, or worse, his brother. For now, she wanted to enjoy being with James without having to worry about gossip or parents or school. When they parted ways, they shared one light kiss. Sasha headed inside and found her parents in front of the telly watching the evening news. She quickly went to her room after muttering that she had a good time. If they stopped her now, her face would probably give everything away.

Months later, December 31st, New Years' Party at the Delacourt household

School was going fine, the clubs were keeping her busy.

It was nice to hang out with James outside of school where no one was watching them.

And tonight they were spending the new year together as his house. Her parents had been invited to another party in the city so they got a babysitter and Sasha was free to hang out with James until the celebration was over. She looked around as everyone was watching the celebrations on telly. They were broadcasting various cities around the world, showing off firework shows and other notable attractions. She was getting more comfortable around James' family but she still had a feeling his parents weren't too thrilled at their son's maturity.

She could understand that, parents would always be protective of their kids. Sasha sipped the champagne in her hand. Since it was an occasion, they were given something festive to drink. She was curled up against James as they listened to the music and commentary. A new year, who knew what it could hold. There would be new video games to play, books to read and movies to see. It was hard not to be hopeful about the future in her mind. And in the new year, she would become a Sophomore which meant she was closer to becoming a more mature person.

To try and help out, she decided her new years resolution ought to be finding a part time job.

That way, she could buy things without bothering her parents. And she was sure there would be something somewhere close by. Like at a cafe or shop. As the time neared close to midnight, she glanced back to James. Things were nice and comfortable between them. She wasn't sue what the future would hold for them as a couple but she was happy to go along with it. She had no complaints. "Five more minutes and it'll be 2019." She grinned as she took another drink. She was feeling nice and buzzed thanks to the drink, but even if it had just been water or juice, she would probably still be content with the night's progression. "You gonna make a resolution?" Sasha asked James, nudging him a little.

Some people made them but never followed through, while others just didn't bother with them.
It was a misunderstanding and an overreaction on both players it looked like, as a GM, there's only so much you can do. One of those things is making sure everyone is on the same page while respecting one another. I've had misunderstandings in my own RPs I GM but when they're resolved, the best thing to do is move on and make sure everyone is happy, and that you are too. Drama is infectious and so is jumping ship, all you can do is mediate while knowing that not everyone can get along. If there's an obvious tension, try to deal with it. If that means asking someone to leave or to leave and come back after a nice nap (does wonders to bad moods), players look to a GM for command and advice. In my mind, the player should have looked at other sheets before posting, but it's a very small issue and it's odd to see it blow up the way it did. Don't let this get you down. GMing is hard work and often a thankless job but what matters is the story and that everyone is happy with it. It's hard to lay down the law but it's part of the job being the leader, there will be failings and some squabbles but the joys tend to outweigh the issues. You'll get the hang of things in time, don't worry.
*pouts* Don't make me get the kitty and puppy pictures.

Cue everyone trying to scare each other. Hahaha.
Actually I can see the other one now. And the new one.

You're mean.

Good thing I just got dinner. XP

I did get a post up, not a kickass one, but it's overdue so...there.

Sasha smiled at Ami's comment. Dancing wasn't so bad. It could be worse. It could be with a boy. Somehow, she had it in her mind that dancing with a boy was difficult and something people would mock her for doing so. The girl just shrugged, "No noooo." She said, not sure how to handle such an unexpected compliment. She saw the boys struggling with how to blend in, let alone look okay with dancing with each other, or even near each other. Boys were weird. What was wrong with having fun with a friend?

"W-we can't keep dragging them along with us, they c-can't even dance!" She attempted to make a joke, though she wouldn't mind a date, if the guy was nice and someone she knew. Sasha found the idea wildly weird to dance with someone you barely knew. With any luck, they'd be able to continue to expand their social horizons and make other friends who they could hang out with. The whole point of high school was to mature and to figure out what you liked and didn't like.

While the girl wasn't comfortable with big social gathering, she wanted to try.

And so far, the world hadn't yet ended.

"So I was wondering...do you think Devon would ever-" She cut herself off when she caught said male staring at them. "I-I think we should maybe go sit back down, I don't feel right with us having all the fun." Sasha admitted. Devon and Garret seemed uncomfortable and she wished she could help. Would it be better if they danced with each other? Her and Devon or Garret? Amity with Garret or Devon? Or would that be even more weird. She wasn't sure and her light buzz was fading as she began to over-think things again.

"Don't worry about us." Devon smiled and ruffled his hair a little, not wanting to upset the girls. "Dancing just isn't my thing." You'd think it would be, but he wasn't feeling it. Maybe it was the outside pressure, he wasn't sure. He wanted to have a good time and it wasn't as though he was having a bad one per say, but Devon just felt uneasy for some reason. He looked from Sasha to Amity. "Maybe when a different song comes on..." He offered them. Sasha looked to Ami and then to Garret. "Lets get some more snacks. I'm thirsty." He said.

"Okay." Sasha nodded.

The boy turned and started to head back to the designated table but suddenly the lights and music turned off. Many people let out excited oooh's while a few girl's seemed to let out cries of distress. What was the big deal? He looked around and could barely make out the silhouettes of some teachers who seemed perplexed by the power outage. A few people seemed to be taking advantage of the darkness, they were upperclassmen, of course. It was announced that the power outage meant the dance had to end early. The boy found himself a bit relieved.

"Oh no, guess we have to go." Devon said and smirked.

"It's so early though...and we were just starting to have fun..."

"Um hmm...how about we go get some ice cream someplace?" Devon suggested.
Places like this were way beyond her imagination. Back home in London, she wouldn't be able to daydream about such places and people. She'd never imagine watching the world explore while trying to stop the last human from making a profit from killing a few esteemed people. Rose wasn't that great with creative writing but when it came to making plans, she liked to think she was getting a little better. And she was doing her best to think before acting, because when she did, it landed her and the Doctor in hot water. And with a new location to explore, she hoped that they didn't have to run so much. It was a very relaxing place.

When the Doctor mentioned the planet was called Woman Wept and that the waves were frozen due to a collapsing sun, she found it hard to believe. The planet was cold, yes, but she couldn't imagine a moment in time where things froze in place. He moved over to another wave and she followed close behind, checking out the various light hues that the waves were capturing. Despite the sun supposedly gone, there was still light which probably had to do with the moon in the distant sky. She nodded in agreement when he mentioned it was fantastic. It truly was.

Even so, it was a bit sad to see a planet paused. It was beautiful but also haunting. Rose was sure that they would still be able to find something to do. "Why don't we stay here for a bit then?" She suggested as she looked down at the frozen waves under her feet. "We could do a little camping, maybe find some land and see if anyone's around." Rose didn't think it would be wise to just poke around and swan off. Woman Wept, while beautiful, was probably an exciting place if you looked hard enough. And something told her that there was a little more to the planet than a frozen ocean and a morose shaped piece of land.

"Not that I'm tryin' to look for trouble or anythin' like that." Rose smiled a little as she ran her fingertips along the smooth curve of one of the frozen waves. It was quite cold but she was used to not seeing a lot of sun for months on end. Rose looked around the area again, it seemed the ocean was endless. If the Doctor hadn't mentioned land, she probably would have believed it all to be ice and nothing else.

"If we do stick around, I will need to get a better jacket." She commented as she put her hands back in her jean pockets.
Oh, well it says you posted for me. No worries.
Great to see a post up so quickly. :3 I have 2-3 people waiting on me but with any luck, I can get them out of the way. XD Granted, my muse cooperates.
