As if on cue, the quite tranquility was disturbed by the loud sound of engines in the distance. Rose did have any reason to assume they were of the inhospitable sort, so she raised her hand and waved to them, hoping to attract their attention. She didn't think her voice would carry that well, not over the engine either. The three continued towards them but slowed their speed. When they approached, Rose took a step closer to the Doctor and looked to him. She wasn't sure if these people would be human or not. Come to think of it, she had never been to an alien planet before. She had just been going around Earth and then otherwise to space, but never to an actual planet.

Her experience with other life forms was then, limited to say the least.

But she made friends with most of the aliens she met when the Earth exploded, way way in the future. The three got off their snowmobiles and the one in front pulled off their helmet. It was a woman, or so Rose assumed. She had a webbed face and scale skin but the scales were so small, they were almost unnoticeable. Her skin was tinted light blue and for all instances, she looked like a human, had hands and fingers and everything. The main difference was the fish or reptilian aspect. "Hi there." Rose gave a bit of a wave. "We're not trespassing or anything, are we?" She asked, wanting to make sure.

The last thing she wanted was to somehow screw up again.

"Not at all." The woman said and gestured to the two aliens behind her who also removed their helmets. Another girl and then a boy. "We're just searching the area for a lost girl, a mother back at the resort has lost her and we wanted to make sure she wasn't out here." She explained and looked to Rose and the Doctor. "I'm Mylkeen, I'm with the local security. You two here for vacation? You're a bit far from the resort." She said.

"Yeah sorry." Rose said, frowning. She looked around but didn't think a girl would be missing in such a vast area,a nd if she was, it was likely that the girl wouldn't be able to last very long in the frozen ocean. "Is there anything we can do to help?" She asked.

"No no, let's head back. You two can catch a ride with Zaxk," She gestured to the male. "and Haquel." She gestured to her other female coworker. What Mylkeen didn't mention, was that it had been the fourth child to go missing within the past two months. No one was sure why. A lot of superstition and lore were at the center of the rumors, though it was still had to say if it was someone or just bad luck.

"Great, thanks." Rose glanced to the Doctor and gave a shrug. If they needed to go back to the TARDIS, they could probably snag another snowmobile. The blond almost went to go get behind Zaxk but then just headed for Haquel and sat down behind her. Haquel put her helmet back on and Rose put her arms around the girl, she smelled a bit like seaweed.

Hello, I have a rather sudden craving to do a rather long term Naruto roleplay where the characters would hopefully not get earth-splitting strong or even god-like in a month and would be quite interested in trying my hand at a Canon character. Are you willing to try this and if so, who are you interested to play?

Hello there. Keeping with canons is fine with me, I've never been a fan of epic or power hungry OCs myself.

It's been a while but I could play; Sakura, Naruto, Ino, Hinata, Tenten, possibly Sasuke or Shikamaru or Lee. I tend to stick with the main teens in the group, not being one for Akatuski nonsense.
Oh hello, G.U ref. XD

I forgot to add some music for the fight, every villain needs their automatic theme after all. I'll edit that in. Maybe.
Yes I am still interested.
Bump.
Gotcha a post, off to bed soon. ^^;
When Remus agreed to let her make something for his insomnia, she brightened up. That would be something to do, to take her mind off all the stress she had bottle up inside. Of course, she would do a great job with the potion, it wasn't like she would be distracted or careless like that. "Great, wonderful. I can pick up the ingredients tomorrow and have something to you by tomorrow night." Hermione told him. It might not be a bad idea to save a little extra for herself. With that, she headed back up to her room to eat and do a bit more fiddling with her Time Turner. An hour later, she headed down to the kitchen and cleaned up her plate. Then she headed back up to her room and charmed herself into a light sleep. When morning came, the girl got dressed and headed outside. It felt like ages since she had seen daylight and had to deal with the crowds of people in Diagon Alley.

"Alright." The Doctor replied when she mentioned that it wasn't too far. That was fine with him, he wasn't too picky. He was happy to poke around and stretch his legs, for once it wouldn't involve running. They headed off, following the route which Rose had described. When they got there, he waited outside. He pulled out his good old sonic screwdriver and tried to scan the area. Nothing stood out though that might changed if he tried to scan once inside or closer to something that stuck out to him. He slipped it back in the inner pocket of his blazer and looked to Rose. "Guess we just walk in, say we're interested investors. If we're from the press, they might limit us, if we're investors, they could be more open to showing us around." He said as he headed inside and walked up to the front desk, flashing his psychic paper. "Hello there, we're hoping to have a tour, talk to someone." He smiled.
She had a flutter of feelings when Harry said he had been talking with Ron. As his sort-of girlfriend, Hermione felt like she should be more attentive to hm and his going-ons back home. It was hard to remember he wasn't around. In class, she was busy with notes ans if she wasn't doing homework, she was helping Luna or other students. She had a lot on her plate but she knew she couldn't keep Ron out of the loop for much longer. Part of her wondered if he could come and visit them at some point. That wouldn't be a big hassle for the school and the Ministry would it?

"It was Ron's choice to not finish school, it's a disappointing decision but just because he isn't here, doesn't mean we shouldn't talk about what's going with us. What else are we going to talk about?" She pointed out. "I get what you're saying though. It's hard without him." She sighed. "And school was the biggest thing we had in common, with him at home and us here, it's hard to keep our bond as strong as it was in say, our third year." She almost mentioned their fourth but that had been a rough year. When Harry asked how she and said redhead were, she swallowed what was in her mouth and glanced off, not sure what to tell her best friend. It felt weird, the three of them were so close, part of Hermione felt like she somehow betrayed Harry when she and Ron sort of hooked up out of nowhere.

Never did she intend to make Harry uncomfortable or feel bad. "Oh um we're alright...I mean..." She was unconvincing and she knew it. "I mean not really." She corrected herself as she poured some more pumpkin juice into her cup. "I think since everything has settled, it's been hard to figure out how we feel about each other." When Ron left, Hermione took it personally. Sure, maybe his words were fueled by the horcrux but he still left and it hurt her as it had Harry. "So it's hard, being here without him and...not feeling as sad as maybe I should be."

Coming from a wealthy family, Draco never had to do fundraising before. It was a very strange and unfamiliar concept for him to grasp. He hoped his confusion didn't show too much as Luna began to suggest ways to come up with a little funding. He tried not to take it too personally when she didn't take him up on his offer. If she had, he'd find a way to contribute, despite his own funds not being as hefty as they normally would be. He was on his own and making due, change wasn't an easy thing to adjust to, not for the blond anyway.

"Sure sure." Draco replied. "We can try to do local networking, I'm sure we can make a deal happen fairly quickly." He replied. For a moment, he had thought she would have suggested something silly like selling baked goods or something. That was what came to mind when someone mentioned fundraising. That's what he had been told happened at those sort of things. Of course it was something his father told him as a joke, which he heard from some muggle while at the Ministry a long time ago. The blond checked the time in the library. It seemed that supper was about half way over, he wondered why Luna wouldn't be off eating with her friends.

Or doing whatever it was she did. Throughout his time at Hogwarts, he wasn't around her very often so he had no idea what she did. What her habits were or who she hung out with. From what he gathered though, she wasn't very popular and didn't have a group of people like Potter had. She was a nice girl, odd, but nice. "I can write some letters and send them out tonight if you'd like." He told her. "Maybe once we have the final product, you could give copies to those who have donated or agreed to make a deal with us, if things go well, we could sell them to the public in the area to sort of keep profit going and help do something for the students..." He suggested with a shrug as he began to pack up. "I might sneak down and get a snack before dinner is over, you want to come?"

Ah, I knew I forgot one. Yep, familiars. My latest HP character didn't have one, it completely slipped my mind. I like the one about the galleons, too, Genkai. I'll probably use that.

XD You're welcome.
Good to hear!
