Our grill needed gas so I thought I could sear it on the stove and then put it in the oven but then I got lazy and just stuck to the stovetop and it didn't work...>___> And then I didn't want to even eat it.

Maybe we have an alliance our ancestors made? Or maybe we're secretly arch enemies? I should hope not.

It was very useful. :3

LOK was rush rush rush. I didn't mind any filler ALTA had, it all kinda had a purpose. Maybe LOK just had a lot of pressure because of the sucess of ALTA. I dunno. But it was good, *nods* Sure some unanswered questions remained for ALTA but it was still a solid show with good development and it was all within reason.

Do you pay your minions?

It's not so much horror as much as...well that's probably lie but it's an epic anthology. Stellar cast each season. I mean aliens, witches, nazis, ghosts, demonic possession, nuns...what's not to love?

And okay, I'm almost done with my post but you mentioned how had some ideas for Summer x Ten as far as games and stuff. What did you have in mind so I know where to go in my post. :3
Oh hey a post. And hey I tried to grill a steak and failed so I ended up walking to the store and buying food. XD

Nooo I meant me and trouble. Do you and I have an alliance? XD Well hopefully we do and hopefully neither of us end up cooking and eating the other. >___>

Status like there used to be an edit-able bar by a username you could use like "Genkai is working on a post" or "Genkai is on vacation, posting delayed" or "Genkai is totally fangirling brb" and it would update itself on other posts so you could keep in touch with your RPers but it got taken away due to some reason and never got put back so I hope it's reimplemented because i found it very useful.

Most of the choices in season two were horrible and didn't make much sense, I dunno it kind of killed some ships of mine just based on how poor the characters began to develop...or not develop in certain cases. It was just a letdown. I mean season one had flaws but they weren't as bad as season two, which could have fixed them but there were some good points but overall, season two isn't something I'd recommend if I had to sell ALTA...oh shit I meant LOK, not ALTA. Nooo I loved ALTA. It was kickass. But that was ages ago! XD I thought you meant LOK. My bad! Nah, ALTA was pretty damn good overall, same with the music. *nods*

Whoops.

Well I tend to stick to the old school stuff, it's hard to find anything new that isn't...weird. >__>

Mind control is another story. XD *evil laugh*

Did you watch American Horror Story? You should.

Wow that's mean but awesome. Good for you. You should have pulled out a glass of water and sipped it casually. Yeah.
You seem to like me and trouble together but I'm counting on our alliance to be in my favor as well. Not flavor.

I hope we get status updates again, that was useful for me. But that was around years ago so I'm not sure if you'd remember them.

It's pretty depressing so far. The last thing I want is a massacre every episode. :/ Yeah I've seen ALTA though I disliked season two so much that I haven't got around to finishing the finale of it. *shrugs* I'm not big on anime lately or if I am, I kind of make it through half a season but then get too busy or forget about it later.

The fact is they don't even give the character's thoughts nor do we know if she's reading them all the time (I assume she is) so they're irreverent or nonexistent to the viewer. If they were highlighted more, it could be useful but otherwise it's a pointless trait that isn't used unless we're told. I'd hate telepathy just because I don't want to read people's minds. XD They keep some stuff to themselves for a reason after all. You're probably an example of that! XP

As long as you never got stuck or were forgotten about...
I'm waaaay past my expatriation date though. I'll just be sitting in the back of the shelf next to that can of beans no one wants to eat.

I agree. You don't lose track of what's been said, which happened with the old system. I don't think post count or join date really matter, though I hope we get an online/offline icon soon. A lot of things are in the pipeline.

Yeah it's a giant dude with like no epidermis so you see all his muscles and bone and blood and it's weird but...enticing. And I dig the whole metaphor for people being trapped, curious, power hungry etc.

Yes I meant Beverly. I keep thinking Troi is her first name when it's really her last. >__>' But Beverly is pretty cool too. I think she's too dependent on her skill to "read" people's minds, as it shows she kind of snaps when it temporarily goes away. She's kind of useless otherwise, but she has her uses every once in a while it seems.

The King of Cool? Do you have an ice crown?

Hiding is what I do best, I'm tiny and fit under the counter. >___>
I'd be more in a cream sauce...and eaten by football players. >___> Trouble is no good for me!

Things can only go uphill from here. I'm sure in a few months, new changes will have already been implemented and grown on us. I do dig the PM system though, it's so much more clean and organized.

"Attack on Titan" well I've only seen episode one. It's so...not expected. It's fantasy I guess. It's like these people living in a town surrounded by walls to keep out these giant man eating creatures called Titans and the town has groups of soldiers go out and try to find out more about these beasts and it's really weird but interesting. But still weird. >__> I'll give it till episode five to see if I should continue.

I love Picard and Riker. Worf is pretty cool too. I have a soft spot for Data as well. Dianna is nice though I'm a bit iff about Troi, I can either like or not like her, depending on the episode I think.

Maybe if you had a hot doctor/nurse taking care of you...and you weren't "too" sick..XD

Oh no, party time! *puts on hat and pretends to be a shark under the table*
I'm fine with Japan or Britain to be honest. I was just making note of how most nice pictures tend to highlight Japan a lot easier than say the US or Europe, which is a shame.

I'll see if I can add any other events, beyond the scope of global and economical affairs:

Fall 2016: United States pulls the final soldiers from the MIddle East, opting to use simple, unmanned technologies to keep tabs on the newly reformed countries, though odds of true peace are low, the US has finally begun to loosen the reigns on the war effort. With technological advances in spying (ha ha) and covert security, more private companies are aiming to give more power and convenience to the masses, in terms of computers, cell phones and television tech.

April 2018: Tensions between Communist North Korea and South Korea finally reach critical mass and war breaks out. The United States is the first to retaliate, followed by China, putting two of the world's strongest super powers at one another's throats. Technological progress is put on hold as many of the manufactures are now being suspended from trade to major counties such as the US, Japan and China.

November 2018: Russia, much to the world's surprise, announces at a UN meeting that it will be aiding the US in the assault on North Korea as much of the war effort to this point was in defense of South Korea (in its position between China and North Korea), turning the tables. Much of Europe has remained isolated for the majority of the war, choosing to ignore the efforts. While trade is cut off from Europe, local groups are coming together to strengthen their advances in medical and digital technology, keeping all labor local and cost-efficient.

January 2019: Europe is thrown into the war by Africa when the Maghreben invades France with aide from the Chinese. Europe's attempts to become independent are put on hold as they try to strength their armed forces.

December 2019: Claimed as World War Three, the battles are long and cost all involved an excruciatingly large amount of money. The winner was not clear, but the effort was stopped when China pulled from South Korea, the Maghreben was officially named a part of France once more, and the US made one final push with Russia onto North Korea, effectively toppling the country. The nations of England (and the rest of the UK), Sweden, Italy, India, Japan, and Canada became the largest superpowers as the treaties are finally signed, having either spent very little on the war or actually profited from it.

2020-2030: England's economy has boomed greatly since the end of the war and they have entered a Golden Age, essentially becoming the most financially sound nation in the world, leaving even the smallest towns as very well-off communities while the rest of the world bustles to pay off war debts and find more jobs once the weapons industry slowed again.

I'll admit, I wasn't too keen on the idea of a WWIII because it could get out of hand and steal the focus but it does make sense to have some kind of big event to provide a chance for things to be reborn on for some kind of peace to happen across the world, it does simplify things in the RP's present at least.

When you first said that you wanted to do a fantasy x sci-fi, I thought you meant the real world could be fantasy with the game sci-fi or something like that. But it does seem cool to have the worlds inside the game "split" in a sense. And there would be different paths for a character in each other to take and then they could merge or visit the other for certain quests or after getting to a certain level. I see it more as a free-form game where it's less "do quest 1, do quest 2, fight boss, etc" and more along the lines of .Hack where you can pick what you'd like to do or where you explore, while leveling up and battling at your own leisure. I think it could be cool to have our characters from different paths, it could always be a likely instance where some quests have to be completed by one of each.

Though we should also begin fleshing out the game (name, how long it's been on the market etc).

I'll go to my post with the pictures and add some more. Though yours don't work for me because I think you linked directly from that site and I don't think they allow it...

Possible video gameTitle Ideas:

Beyond
Stars in the Sky
Endless Realms
Magical Mechanics
Digital Fantasy

Possible titles for the users, fantasy/sci-fi:

Dreamers/Doers
Flyers/Riders
Mythics/Mechanics
Painters/Players
Fanta/Scia (fanta as in fantasy and scia ((pronounced saya) as in science fiction)
Sky Flyer/Abyss Flyer (or something)

Trying to determine difference between a player who uses more elemental magic and tools, versus one who uses more future oriented tools and weapons, though a merger could happen where someone could be slightly skilled in either, though the "difference" should be more for flair rather than stirring up which archetype is better in the game, though within the two choices, there'd likely be similar types/classes someone can be in terms of a fighter, healer, swordsman, gun slinger, etc.But then I assume we could just select locations for the game and then make it up as we go along, rather than plan out too much besides the basic key points?
I'm not a Progresso or Campbells flavor. Maybe one that's a limited time...eep!

Backing up is good, preparing for the worst etc. Starting fresh is nice though it's still hard to believe that like months ago, everything was fine and now we're on a new site building things from starch. I am rather pleased that we have so many members who've joined, I was afraid there wouldn't be a lot coming back but at least now, people seem to be more active than on the old site.

I think Wesley is kind of a fan fave but I dunno, there's just something about him I don't like. I don't know why though but from what I've seen, he just puts me off more often than not. I haven't seen Voyager though I did look it up. ^^; My friend recommend Attack on Titan (which is know is a big thing lately...) but my friend is never really off with her recommendations so I'm finally giving that a shot, even if it's weird but cool but still weird...

Oh no! Everyone's sick. Time to put them in quarantine. Hopefully you can take care of yourself and not just them. I got some sort of post up, finally. >___>
[Dimension 1]

She ran a hand through her long brown hair and twisted strands around her cold fingers. It really wasn't fair. She had so much faith in him, he was so much worse than what she could recall. What happened? Something had to have happened. It made no sense to her. People didn't just change overnight but it was apparent that she wouldn't get the answer she deserved. And now it was supposedly done and over. Now what? She propped her elbow on the slender metal armrest of the bench and put her chin in her hand and sighed. The Doctor soon joined her but she really didn't feel like talking or being talked to, at the moment. There was silence but not a lot of it. And as predicted, he was doing his best to point out that this was just a tiny blimp on her whole life.

Not to her.

Not when she had fiercely believed that Andrew, the auburn haired boy with beautiful blue eyes, was someone she had really connected with. And now all it was pretty much gone and she was starting to doubt her very own memories. She listened to the Doctor talk about Edison's failures and how he just carried on anyway. Good for him, she wasn't an inventor, she was a very single person just bumbling around the world and if she couldn't count on her friends, who could she count on? She glanced over to him and sat up a bit more, yet still remained a bit slouched into the bench. "I actually don't know how I feel. I don't think I'm angry, I mean I was back there but...I don't think so, not anymore." She wasn't quite sure what to call how she was feeling.

Usually describing things and reading situations came naturally to her but now she found herself struggling to discern whether she was going to cry or scream. Jennifer was in turn, more mad at herself than her ex. "He's usually better than that." She told the Doctor, not sure why she felt the need to defend Andrew. But he was. And how he acted was completely out of character and she'd never know why and that really bothered her. "I mean there's pain yeah but...I'm kinda just...numb to it. I guess I saw this coming a while. Sure, not exactly but I figured I'd get here someday." She shrugged a little and looked up at the blue and white colored sky. Maybe part of her didn't want to appear as though she had poor judgement in people but she knew Andrew was a good person. What she didn't know was why he was so set on not being good to her so suddenly. She felt undeserving of it, to be honest.

She didn't deserve Andrew's misplaced grief. Jennifer looked back to the Doctor who gave her a smile, not one of boyish charisma or glee, but just a simple smile, and it looked good on him. "Thank you." She replied to him. "I really do appreciate your support." But the whole issue had been sort of resolved and it might be as good as it could get, so she wanted to move on and stop feeling so numb and stupid. "And in the end, we're all just humans. Drunk on the idea that love, only love could heal our brokenness." She said. "Christopher Poindexter said that, I always thought his last name was pretty cool in a geeky sort of way." Jen smiled a bit. "Well I guess, I'm using the term human more broadly here." She glanced to the Doctor. "Hmm...anyway I guess there's nothing else to do here, since I picked last, why don't you decide what we're doing next." She proposed.

It seemed since she was ready to go, so was the Doctor. They headed back to the TARDIS which wasn't far. "I wonder what I should write about now..." She shrugged and put her hands behind her head. "I guess I could write about traveling through time and space." She smiled a little though she had no idea how it would turn out. It could still be cool or entertaining at least, even if it was just for her. They stepped back into the TARDIS and she realized she couldn't go back at another point in try again, this was it. "Any moons on Neptune we could check out?" She grinned a little. "Or something like that."

[Dimension 2]

With things somewhat settled, the Doctor had a better feeling in terms how this visit back in the past would go. He had his doubts, clearly but so far, time was on their side and who was he to mess with that? As they wandered around Dover, Summer expressed tidbits of her life and what she could remember from the past, which was to them, in the future. The brown haired male was keen to just listen and absorb the information whenever it was provided. Summer had a lot on her mind and didn't want to misdirect her. This was important to her and whatever choice she made, he would understand and accept it. Humans could be unpredictable sorts, usually hearts filled with rage and confusion, rather than love and understanding. But they weren't all hopeless, many of them were carved into the Doctor's memory from all of his past lives.

And now Summer was making a place within his mind as well. Here he was, a powerful Time Lord, the last of his kind, and he was wandering around the dark bowels of Dover. It was a bit comedic but in a heartwarming sort of way. He looked around and made notes of where places and landmarks were, just in case directions ever needed to come in handy. For someone who did a lot of running away, it was always key to know how to escape from an area. And he wanted there to be no danger in Dover, so he was also doing some recon, alongside taking in the small port town that Summer's parents inhabited. The girl said she didn't need anything, which made him nod. That was good, though he wasn't really serious because he hadn't a clue what would be appropriate and what wouldn't. The topic was thankfully kicked to the side.

As they neared a body of water, Summer stalled.

She said she'd like to go, he couldn't help but frown slightly. But then she mentioned that she'd like to go to the party. Well that was different. He nodded and stood beside her. Parties weren't something he frequented too often, for many reasons. Sometimes it was hard to find a reason to celebrate, sometimes he just didn't want to be around people, but he would go since it meant something to Summer. He headed back with Summer since she seemed eager to give a formal acceptance to the kind invitation. They stuck their head in and told Mabel they would be in attendance and once that was done, they headed back to the TARDIS to get some rest. Well, the Doctor didn't need to sleep so he just spent the next couple of hours tinkering in the control room, thinking about how Christmas Eve would turn out. He honestly hoped it would give Summer the closure she needed.

The next day, the Doctor decided after some research that a simple bottle of wine may be enough to bring to the party in exchange for the hospitality. And he had some stored away in one of the many rooms within the TARDIS. A few bottle had been gifted to him after he had saved the wife of a Frenchmen in the 1930s. When the sun settled once more over Dover, he and Summer met up and headed over to Mabel's house together. The Doctor had kept himself busy during the day and had hoped Summer had enjoyed some time on her own in the town. "I have a good feeling about this." He told her as they neared the small cottage which belonged to Summer's mother. He knocked and stood back with Summer, when it opened, he presented the bottle to a man who had opened the door. "Merry Christmas." The Doctor smiled. "I'm The Doctor, this my friend, Summer. Thank you for having us." He said as they were let in. Many people were in the living room, by a large fireplace, everyone seemed to be exchanging stories of the past year and hopes for the upcoming new one.

The Doctor gestured for Summer to sit down and he would follow. They found a place on the couch and the Doctor looked over at everyone. A thick scent of alcohol and beef and bread filled the area around them. It was very casual and seemed to include all sorts of people. Mabel approached them and gave them a wave. "That was my boyfriend who failed to introduce himself, he's not one for parties like this but it's a tradition I can't just let go of so he puts up with it." She smiled. "I hope you're enjoying Dover thus far."

"Oh yes, it's lovely." The Doctor nodded.
I hope it's tasty. XD Not that I'd ever find out.

That really sucks. That was the biggest issue (aside from lost content itself) is losing people who don't know or haven't found the new site. That's probably why people should network offline just in case but I guess that is a learning experience to back up RPs you're in (or like at least) and get contact info. *nods* Guess it was learned the hard way but it wasn't like it could have been foreseen.

I haven't even checked what episodes I missed and have seen for TNG, I probably should. I suppose for TNG it would be them exploring various cultures and planets, pretty much as free form as DW could be, both similar premise and freedom. I suppose it would depend on what roles are involved but the main group have grown on me, save for Wesley Crusher but...*shrugs* And I'm almost done with my post, it should be up soon. :3
Sounds like a bad soup in the making!

Okay, I got it. I probably won't use it unless it's an emergency or something. Not sure what that would entitle but...thanks. XD

I actually haven't yet. Like one or two fandoms, I haven't gotten to write it yet. I do have an interest in it. It's been airing a lot on tv so I've sat down whenever it airs and I've picked up a decent amount of knowledge I think. That and the actors are pretty awesome, I've seen probably one or two film movies for it as well though I don't think I'd be interested in the first Star Trek cast though.
