When the Doctor put his coat around her, she blinked a few times. It was a very kind gesture, a gesture that hadn’t been bestowed upon her before. She blushed a little, likening herself to some fair maiden in a fairy tale where the men were actually gentlemen and the ladies were treated lovingly. “Th-thank you.” She told him sheepishly. Luna listened at the man began to speak about the other places beyond their current point in time. His voice began to quicken and she tried to keep up with his train of thought but the more she spoke, the more mesmerized she became. If that was possible. His smile faded slightly as he said they could come back, just during another time. Luna frowned a little, getting the idea that Hogwarts would change, and possibly for the worse. But with danger in the air now more than ever, it wasn’t really unexpected, just sad.

“Well we shouldn’t get too far ahead of ourselves.” Luna told the Doctor. Something was pulling at her mind, telling her to just be careful. But be careful of what exactly? So far, this man from the future was kind and funny and so strange and she really felt drawn to him. Was that alright? She knew a lot about him but she still wasn’t sure it was enough to run away with him in his lovely time machine. What about her father? A bout of worry overcame her and she quickly looked down at her feet, feeling as though she were ten years old again. It was further away from her than she thought. While they had been eating, he mentioned he had come with someone and they were looking for another Time Lord which was supposedly impossible from what she had been told. This possible person was in hiding and could likely be a companion, another part of him which could banish away the loneliness from his eyes.

As it turned out, he wasn’t too bad of company.

Rose looked to him as they continued. The supposed teacher pulled out that odd alluring fog watch again and she wondered if that had something to do with this messy situation which was horribly confusing to everyone involved. While she felt for the guy, she knew they couldn’t lounge around at Hogwarts forever. And with Umbridge on the prowl, Rose would have preferred any other year, even the seventh one. “Yes! That’s right, I think.” She smiled as the man recalled what TARDIS stood for. The man began to talk in circles though, one step forward but two steps backward. She let out a sigh and rubbed her head. The blond girl took the watch from the man and looked at it. It seemed ordinary to her, well there were some odd etching on it but she couldn’t figure it out.

Looking up, she saw the Doctor coming into view and then someone else. An older looking Luna Lovegood? For a long dreary moment, Rose was very confused. Didn’t the Doctor have class or something? Did he even get her note about what she had found out? Here she was, losing her mind by doing his dirty work and he swanning off, taking a stroll with some cute Luna Lovegood. Rose made a bit of a face and she marched over to the two, still clutching the pocket watch. “Doctor! What are you doing?” She demanded. “I’ve been on my own, not knowing what to even look for and you abandoned me to go on a date with Luna Lovegood?” Luna was a nice girl, someone Rose liked in the books but not at the moment, this had become suddenly very personal.

“D-date?” Luna’s eyes widen. “It’s not a date, he’s been keeping me company. I didn’t know I was keeping him from you. I’m sorry.” She said, quite sincere in the apology. Luna felt bad now, she didn’t mean to trouble Rose but she also felt a little cross with the Doctor, not on Rose’s behalf but because Luna didn’t want to be someone’s reason for avoiding something important. “You should have been talking to her, not me.” She told the Doctor, frowning.

Ignoring Luna for now, Rose continued her tirade towards the Doctor who seemed to have put his coat over Luna. Oh jeez. She rolled her eyes. “Did you even get my note about him?!” She gestured to the professor. “I’m pretty sure he’s who you’re looking for but you don’t care at all. You took me away from my family and then left me here to do homework and get detention while you were off making eyes at Luna Lovegood!” Rose huffed. “I can’t do all of your work for you!” Rose glared. “How could you just forget about me?! I’ve been trying to get hold of you for nearly two days and I find you out here? I’ve been trying to help you but you won’t even help yourself.” She felt terribly used and betrayed even though she had just met the guy. And she felt stupid, as if this was some horrible joke.

“I should go I think.” Luna said and gave the Doctor a disapproving look. “I had thought someone who traveled the galaxies would treat their friends better. I’m not sure I’m the right person to be traveling with you if you just forget about them.” Luna said sadly.

“You what?! He asked you to go with him?! Wow, I feel really like a replacement now.” Rose let out a breath and put her hands on her hips. She couldn’t even comprehend how she felt. It was a mixture of pain, anger, sadness, and foolishness. “I don’t even care anyone, just take me home.” She said, giving the Doctor a very cool look. But before her rage could subside and turn into depression, she turned her eyes on the charms professor. “And as for you,” She hadn’t forgotten him standing in the background. “you need to grow up! You’re clearly a Time Lord who somehow hid in Hogwarts. I don’t know why but maybe talk to him!” She pointed to the Doctor. “I can’t be bothered to care anymore Frombut if you really can travel around and save people, why the bloody hell would you want to stay here? Of course change is bloody scary, a week ago I didn’t know aliens even existed!” She said.

Dropping her hands, Rose shook her head, fed up. “Clearly this stupid thing is a key to you getting answers so why don’t you just go for it already? Stop worrying about your life here and figure out what you really love to do because it clearly isn’t teaching. It’d be a damn waste to spend your life here, seriously. You need to make a decision and deal with it instead of fiddling around. Same goes for you, mate!” She glanced back to the Doctor, her tone becoming deadly bitter with the final hiss of a word. Then she stormed back towards the castle, throwing the pocket watch towards the professor but didn’t bother to aim. Luna let out a breath she had seemed to be holding. Her round eyes looked from both of the men.

“From what I could gather, both of you are acting like idiots.” Luna said and removed the long coat from her shoulders and handed it back to the Doctor. Luna glanced back to the other supposed Time Lord. She merely flashed him a small smile and stepped back. “Thanks for the company but it may have been misplaced.” She told him and quickly followed after Rose who still seemed seething from the sudden crossing of paths. Luna caught up with the younger blond and put her hand on Rose’s shoulder. “I really didn’t know I was getting in the way, if I did, I would have never invited him out this afternoon.”

“I believe you.” Rose sighed.

“I think we should go see if the Library has any spare seats. We can call for some tea and get lost in a good book.” Luna advised warmly. That sounded like a plan to Rose so she just nodded and headed off to the Library with the witch beside her. Finally it felt like someone was on her side.

Hermione was pleased that Harry liked the name suggestion. She wasn’t great with creative ideas, it was a weak point of hers. She could over think things while Ron, for example could come up with the most interesting of stories and ideas. While she liked reading, it seemed she lacked a talent for writing anything related the fun fanciful fiction. The trip back was thankfully uneventful for the two. Harry reminded her that neither of them was alone, that they still had each other in the tough times. “You’re right, we can’t forget it either.” Hermione agreed warmly. They finally arrived back at the school and it was nearly time for an early supper.

She and Harry stopped at the library to look for some extra reading and saw Luna and Rose who said they weren’t really in the mood to eat. Hermione decided it was best to leave them be as it seemed something had upset them. And not wanting to bring down her or Harry’s mood, Hermione bid them an early goodnight and headed off with her friend toward the Great Hall. Hermione wondered what was wrong with her two friends but figured it just had to do with the holidays. They could make anyone a bit stressed or upset for various reasons. The bushy haired girl sat down with Harry. It seemed the Great Hall itself was pretty vacant save for about fifty students or so from different years.

Most of the students though, were at least in their third or fourth year. She could understand the younger kids wanting to go home and be with their loved ones. One thing Umbridge was good for, was that she could put things into perspective and make people grateful for what they had at home, loved ones. As they ate their meal, there wasn’t much to talk about. With school pretty much done for a while, they could actually focus on something else. The girl was a little worried though. She hadn’t done anything with her fellow mates outside of school. Sure, they met close to the start of school somehow but Harry was actually going to be coming to her house soon. It was a lot to take in. She never had boys over before, especially not ones she wanted to impress.

Once they finished their early dinner, they headed back to the Gryffindor Common Room. By then, Ron was already gone, along with Ginny. That seemed to relieve some of the stress in the atmosphere. It seemed Neville was the only familiar face around them. The three of them talked, eventually the D.A was brought up and Neville showed interest, much to Hermione’s surprise but she welcomed it. They needed all the people they could get. No one should be denied extra help after all. Neville soon excused himself, saying he had detention to get to. Hermione waved him off and looked back to her friend. “I can’t be he’s got detention and on a half day no less. I bet this is Umbridge’s doing. I mean Neville is totally harmless in class.” She pointed out, scoffing a little.

It was unbelievable.

“Absolute rubbish.” She muttered. “She’s turning our home into a madhouse and ruining everything.” Hermione said. It seemed even without seeing the menace, she could ruin their otherwise nice day. “Well we better pack since we’re leaving tomorrow. Maybe I can see about us saying bye to Rose before we go.” Something told Hermione that it would be best to try talking to her again, sooner rather than later. She hoped the blond would be around when they got back to the school. Rose could be the only one to deal with Umbridge, even if she said that wasn’t why she was here, she still knew about things, including events that hadn’t even happened yet. “I’m willing to bet that she knows about the D.A and how things turn out. We need her help.” She told Harry. “Anyway, goodnight.” She reached over and squeezed Harry’s hand gently.

And with that, she hurried up to the girl’s dorm which enchanted, not allowing any male entry.
@Prometheus: So you pretty much put Varrick in the RP? Sweeeet. I am amused. *laces hands together*

The origin is fine by me! No worries there.

Nice creative use of magic, I was a bit weary of him doing water but hey, he's an old fart, that's totally fine by me. *nods*

The only thing I could ask you to tweak/change would be to try and spin his personality (as charming as he sounds *playful sarcasm*) a bit more...positively. You've pretty much hit it home that he's full of himself, cocky, charming, etc, but there's gotta be something that doesn't make everyone strangle him. Considering he's 31, has he ever had someone confront him about his larger than life persona? Is he friendly to people (even the lowly commoner folk?) as he will need to be able to work with people, he won't have to love them but and nor they love him but he should have some redeeming qualities, be it good with advice, able to charm his way out of a sticky situation or generous with his money? Etc. As I see most or er all of his traits as near negative, I'd just like to see some "good" things about him.

But really that's it, other than that it looks good to me!

@JustAlice: Awesome! Lookin' forward to it.

Having been assured that Ashes would like her, she gave Garret a hopeful nod.

The bus ride was light in conversation, both them attempting to keep the ball rolling while making sure there weren't too many awkward pauses. When their stop came, Sasha followed her hosts' lead and headed off the bus, careful of the steps. Garret asked what movie she'd like to watch, she wasn't sure until she saw what he had but she didn't want to be picky and ruin the afternoon. "Oh um I don't know, maybe something funny? Maybe an anime?" She suggested. They got to his house and he knocked. Soon the door was pulled open to reveal Garret's mother. Sasha's face lit up as she looked to Garret. "O-oh it...it was no trouble, he was great company." She said nervously, suddenly feeling put on the spot. "Th-thank you for having me." She said to his mother as she and Garret headed inside.

Once inside, she took off her shoes to be polite and not make a mess. She noticed Garret looked more nervous than her, which somewhat was a relief which meant she wasn't the only fish out of water. As they headed into the living room, his mother stopped them with one final statement to each of them. She smiled and nodded. "Alright, thank you." She bowed her head a little and gave Garret a bit of a childish grin because he seemed to getting a threat from a spatula. They continued on and she nudged her new friend a little. Upon entering the living room, it seemed they had intruded on the cat lounging on the couch. She smiled a little and waved a hand. "Hello there." She said, trying not to seem like a threat. The cat got down and circled around them, mostly assessing her though.

Garret said Ashes liked her, which was good to hear. "Oh? I'm glad." She crouched down to pet the cat's head gently. Then the girl scratched under its chin lightly. "You're so pretty." She coo'ed and then stood up when Garret asked about what they should do. He then listed off some possible ideas, all of which made her smile. Sasha really wasn't picky and she wasn't too good at making decisions. "Umm well we could look at the fishes now if you want." She shrugged a little, it slowly dawning on her that she had never really been inside a boy's room before. She wasn't too sure what to expect. Her room was her hideaway, she was pretty protective of who went in and touched things. And if Garret was like her, it was sort of a big deal that she could go in and looked around.

The two of them headed off to his room, with Ashes slinking behind them curiously.

"They're really nice." The girl commented as they got to the small aquarium that Garret had in his room. Her eyes looked around at the small fish swimming around. They were different than the ones they had seen at the park the other day. And that was nice because she hadn't seen many fish before so the more varying kinds, the better. She glanced to his bookshelf, unable to help her wandering eye. You could tell a lot about a person by what they read, even for their age. Sasha looked back to Garret and then to his collection of books. "You know we could trade...I mean temporarily." She considered. "We each pick out a book or two and give it to the other and we see what we thought of the recommendation." Sasha explained, wondering if it was something he was up for.

There it was again, that stupid nickname!

Devon made a face and followed Amity all the same. She climbed the fence and soon got over and he did the same, careful not to hit her on the way down. He looked around the well kept scenery. The redhead made another face, hoping he never had to attend such a stuffy school. Middle school was enough for him but in a few months, he'd be in a whole new place with different faces. He wanted to count on the fact that many of his friends would go to the same public high school as him and not some private academy for book sucker and future lawyers and accountants. Urgh. Devon looked to the girl who asked about them having to leave if they were found out. "Heh probably, or worse we might be trapped here forever, forced to learn math equations and stories about dead presidents." He pouted.

Thankfully they had found a large bush to hide behind while they thought about what to do now. Plans weren't his strong suit, he pretty much did whatever he thought would work out presently, who had time to actually think about the future? That was way off in the distance for the sociable boy. "Uhmm...I'm not sure, what about the classrooms? I bet they're just as big as the building itself. I wonder if they have elevators and fancy stuff like that." He said, his eyes gleaming. Then Amy brought up the idea of stealing a textbook which sounded like a great idea to him. He nodded. "Yeah, we can show it off at school and prove we broke in, everyone will think we're so call because we are. None of them would be brave enough to this." He smirked, a surge of a pride coming over him.

Devon then cut himself off as it seemed they had been found out. Rather than wanting to bolt, he wanted to stand his ground. It wasn't fair that their adventure would be cut short. A guard had approached them, demanding a reason for them being around. A few good reasons came to mind but instead, he was yanked up and pulled off. He suddenly found them hiding someplace else, now a small shed. He gave Amity an annoyed look. "I could have gotten us out of there by just saying we were siblings of a student or that we're like here for some special tutor program or that we're children of some teacher." He told Amy. "Whatever." He shrugged and caught his breath. "That was pretty fun though, I'll admit." He said with a tone of cockiness.

Now they had to be more careful.

That wasn't their strong suit apparently. Devon let go of Amy's hand and poked his head around the corner of the shed. It seemed the guard had wandered off to another part of the grounds. "I bet he's talking to his stuffy guard friends about us." He muttered. "Come on." He motioned to the girl and ran over to the nearest building. As soon as he pulled open the door end entered, a strong smell of chlorine entered his nose and he made a gagging sound. "I think we found the pool." He said and led them down a long hall which led to another door. He opened it and saw the pool. Some students were swimming in it while others were diving. The two younger kids hurried along until they got to yet another door and went through it, now out of the gym and recreation area, and in the main part of the school itself. "I wonder where their cafeteria is..." He mused.
Finished Sasha, now onto Devon. I really hate that I forgot Sasha's backstory and lost the posts for it so I'll need to redo her CS and see what I can even remember or may have to change. I have so much to catch up on but my muse seems finally up for doing some mega writing. Yay. Learn in the dead of night, when your brain is sleeping, sneak up on it make it learn when it's not looking. Wait, does that work? Hmmm...
Never had Hermione Granger ever imagined that she wouldn’t be in class on the first day of her seventh year at Hogwarts, but was instead strolling through the woods in the middle of nowhere with her two best mates. Well, Ron currently. She missed school terribly, it was her home, and it was where she had truly felt happy and accepted. It was where she met Harry and Ron and Luna and Ginny and everyone else. And to be away from it was terribly difficult for her. Homework and reading brought such a joy to her life. Learning new things about the amazing world of magic and those around her had become a way of life. But things had drastically changed when the Dark Lord began to ready himself for a war. Then Harry found out his fate, that he had to pick up where their Headmaster had failed.

They had to find and destroy the horcurxes that would help them ensure Voldemort would die once and for all. After getting Harry out of his home, and erasing her parents’ memories, they all fled to the Burrow. And it was there that they were attacked and had to flee to London. And from there they had to run from danger, fleeing to the middle of nowhere. And in the chase, Ron ended up injuring himself to which Hermione did her best to quickly heal him. She had been preparing for such events for a while. She had packed her bag using an extension charm which couldn’t be detected. She had filled said bag with hundreds of books on survival, healing, historic events, advanced spells, among other useful topics.

She knew they had a long tiresome road ahead of them and while parts of her heart remained with her parents and school, she needed to remain focused on their task at hand. At least they had the locket after having broken into the Ministry of Magic to steal it from the awful woman, Umbridge. And now they had to be even more careful with their movements. People were after them and she knew they were out of their depth, despite the extra studying they had done. It was decided that they take turns wearing the newly acquired locket in hopes that it would give them a hint to the whereabouts of the Dark Lord or the other horcruxes. Harry was the first one to raise his hand which left her and Ron to take care of setting up camp. She headed out with Ron to find something to eat. She hoped that the redhead would have some knowledge about cooking since he seemed to grow up in a rural home with a big family.

As she and Ron walked along, careful about making noise, the bookworm couldn’t help but wonder about the end of everything. They were so close to it and yet achingly far. They had a long journey ahead of them and if they were smart, they would lie low while trying to track down information. Hermione glanced to Ron as he appeared to have a lot on his mind, which wasn’t an expression she found him wearing too often. That worried her. “Don’t worry.” She assured him, putting a hand on his arm gently. She knew he was worried about his sister and family. It was late in the morning, perhaps around ten or so. Their first official night on the run had been a bit restless and she was sure the boys would be tense if not tired. “I did pack some rations but I want to save those since we may be able to find food out here.” She explained to him.

The two of them ended up finding a bush with some herbs which Hermione was able to recognize as edible. Then Ron was able to spot a rabbit. While it wasn’t in her nature to want to kill an innocent thing, she knew she needed to get used to surviving. She and Ron were quick to cast spells which stunned the creature and killed it. Ron carried it back while Hermione pocketed the herbs which would help season to stew. “We found some things that I could make into a stew, we’ll need to keep our strength up.” She said as they entered the tent to find Harry just sitting at the table. She quickly looked through her bag while Ron attempted to skin their kill. “Any luck?” She asked Harry as she poured some water in a pot and lit a small fire under it. The witch walked out of the small kitchen and stepped up to the platform where Harry was. She knew the stress was immense and she wanted to do anything that would help him.

His life was one of entitlement. Draco Malfoy was a blond boy who hadn’t found his purpose in life. His family was well known in the wizarding world. He was quite proud of it and didn’t feel like he had to hide it. He was already better than most people from the day he was born. That wasn’t his fault, it was actually his blessing. Draco, from a young age, knew his father did something secretive. When he was old enough to get his letter to Hogwarts, his father decided that he was old enough to know what Lucius did for a living, or did to stay alive. Draco was told of his father’s work with the Dark Lord and it soon dawned on Draco that he held is father’s name for a reason, that someday he was to follow in his footsteps and serve under the Dark Lord. He was a young boy who didn’t really consider the future repercussions of who he could and should associate with.

Even so, when he tried to befriend Harry Potter, his offer was turned down. And from that moment, the sour taste in Draco’s mouth would never go away. The blond ended up making friends in his own House, he soon learned his friends were also connected to the Deatheaters. While he still didn’t have all the information of the past events and expectations of his family, he did his best to make a name for himself at Hogwarts. He was quickly taken under Professor Snape’s wing but while he was struggling to become his own person, it seemed Harry Potter was making an even bigger name for himself and that angered Draco even more. As the years passed, Draco found himself fading into the background of everything. His father had become busier with the Deatheaters and his mother was hardly much help.

And those who he called his friends, didn’t understand his struggle to find his identity. He hated being overlooked and even worse, underestimated. He was a Malfoy, he deserved to have people stare at him with envy and awe but instead all everyone could babble about was Harry Potter. It angered Draco greatly, that he was so seemingly powerless to be someone noteworthy. By the time the seventh year had rolled around, Draco had plenty of time to form a plan to get noticed, to be remembered, to step out of his father’s shadow and to do something for himself. Sure, he had taken a vow to Voldemort a year ago but it was too much pressure. Moaning Myrtle somehow had seen a softer side of him a year ago, when he cracked under the pressure. But he was determined to not let that happen again. He wouldn’t make the same mistake twice. He would start taking charge, no matter the cost.

During the summer, Draco did some work for the Deatheaters but his mind was constantly whirling as to what he could do on his own, how he could get noticed and no longer hide behind a mask or robe. As school started, he made his own choice to break away and do something on his own. But in order to make a name for himself, he would need to have some help. This help had to be different but useful and the one person who was still around, he noted, was Luna Lovegood. She had sun soaked hair much like him but she was much softer in nature while he was rigid and controlled. She could be an asset which he could mold into a better vision. She was unsuspecting and flew under the radar. It was possible for it to work in his favor. After the train stopped and everyone got out, the male kept his eye out for the blond haired Ravenclaw.

He had a plan but he had to wait for the best time to get to her. So he waited until the first weekend hit Hogwarts. He exited the Great Hall, having finished breakfast a bit late. Most students were out and about, not wanting to be under the watch of the new staff at school. Draco wasn’t worried though, he was safe from any of that rubbish. Draco walked around, trying to find out where Lovegood was. He headed down towards the Ravenclaw Common Room and heard some whispers. He poked his head into an empty classroom and saw Luna speaking to someone, a ghost of some sort but it quickly noticed him and fled. He walked in and flashed Luna a smile. “Seems Potter and his friends didn’t show up this year.” He commented but quickly changed his tone, knowing he had to be careful. “Doesn’t that make you a bit lonely? I know you were sort of close to them.” He told her with a bit of a shrug. Everyone knew Luna was the oddball who got bullied, he could relate to her though he wouldn’t admit to it, unless it worked in his favor. “If you need a friend…” He began to offer her, trying to seem as inviting as possible.
Hello! Great! Have at it. :3
OOC's pretty much done I think, I kept it as basic as possible, if you want more info, just ask.
I swear, it's almost done. I think. Maybe. Probably. We'll see. >_____>
It's been a good day and I get to end it by pulling an all nighter catching up on RPs and studying. Thankfully I don't have class Mondays so it shouldn't throw off my groove too much~!
It could be a bit risky to have the Doctor talk to her parents, I guess it depends on timing. It was already risky to know her father knows. It's not really the same with Rose since his death (ending changed slightly, still happened) pretty much erased him remembering ever having met her from the future so there was no way for her mother or even Mickey to know who she really was. I think. I just don't know what you want Summer and her parents to do, do you want them to have one last chat after the proposal and leave or...?
