But flamers tend to be pure haters without any back up or reasoning behind their junky comments. The point of commenting is to either encourage or suggest, not insult and nitpick.
While it is an interesting twist (now that I do think about it, I can recall hearing the name tossed around a few years back) I don't think it's something I'd be confident executing. I have tried "obscure" DW plots and so far, they haven't been very successful.
Yeah that's always a great feeling. it's rare I get any flames but I guess those days aren't always in the past. Most people are nice though, flamers probably have too much time on their hands. Hopefully with my work done, I can get you a post and work on some stories of my own before bed tonight~
There was little time to worry about buyers remorse as Rose focused on the other stalls in the market. She had to barter a pair of earrings to get the small communicators, they weren't that dear to her, but she still hoped it would be enough to bury the metaphorical hatchet. Rose just wanted to save her father, was that a big crime? Well apparently it was and she did act without thinking and she resolved to not be so reckless anymore, as it put a lot of people in danger. She wanted to be a useful companion. not one that just made trouble for the Doctor. As she slowed down, someone offered her a sample of an odd looking meat skewer. Knowing better than to ask what it was, she just accepted it politely.

It tasted like chicken, sort of.

After thanking the alien behind the stall, she kept walking. While she had something to help the habit of them ended up separated, she still felt a little weird. She knew he hadn't totally forgiven her and she wasn't sure what else she could do besides offer up some blood or something crazy like that. Since the rest of the market wasn't very eye catching, she decided to check out other parts of the area. In the back of her mind, she found herself more interested in going back out to the frozen ocean again. It was very pretty, though freezing. Part of the reason Rose was hitting a mental roadblock, was because she didn't know a whole lot about the Doctor to begin with.

That wasn't right.

She knew there was a war and that he was the last of his kind. She also knew the war had gone wrong and that he ran off to save himself. She also knew that he liked helping people and that he was very particular about who he traveled with. He made that point clear when they dropped Adam off and Rose figured she had insulted the Doctor a bit when she abused her role. She didn't mean to. She didn't know something awful like giant monsters attacking people would happen. But it was all fixed, though she and the Doctor didn't talk about it because they were in a hurry to put everything right. The blond human wandered back toward the shore, or what would be the shore if the water wasn't frozen in place.

She wondered what she could to prove that she wasn't a stupid ape like he thought she was. They both said some stupid hurtful things and this trip was meant to be fun. And yet they were on their own as usual, though it was her suggestion that he go off. Rose took a seat and looked around, the horizon was broken up by tall towering frozen waves rushing toward the land. She played with the white sand under her and traced circles in it. If there was ever a bad mood in the room, her mother would always suggest tea but they had that and it didn't very little. Rose wondered if she should try cooking something. She wasn't the best, but she wasn't the worst either. But she didn't know what he liked, that was a problem.

Still somewhat determined, she decided to push forward with a plan. She got up and hurried to the resort and asked around until she found the spa which had hues of brown and blue. "Hi um I'm looking for a bloke with a leather jacket, blue eyes, sort of tall." She said to the woman. "Can you give him a message for me?" She asked the attendant. The scrap of paper Rose gave said, "Gone back to the TARDIS, meet me when you're done. Don't be too late or I'll get worried! - Rose" The girl then headed back to the area where she could snag a snow mobile. She found one she could use and headed back towards the TARDIS. Once back, she let herself inside and headed off to the library.

Once she found it, she started looking for any cookbooks that stood out to her.

Nothing on food from where he was from, but she found one that looked like it was used a lot so she took a gamble and brought it with her to the kitchen. She wasn't too surprised to learn the handy dandy TARDIS was well stocked with food from many cultures and planets. She ended up making something from Blini-Gaar as it had a good recipe for a fruit pie and from her digging around, it could be comparable to a peach/cherry pie of sorts which couldn't be bad. After she put it in the oven, she headed off to figure out where the Doctor kept his camping supplies. The TARDIS was being cooperative and soon she found one of the rooms had what she needed. She pulled out the tent and sleeping bags and was happy to note they seemed capable of dealing with the cold so she headed outside to set up camp while the pie baked.
Oh that can happen sadly.

Or having to stop because you're not sure if anyone is still reading, that's tricky too.
If you can update fanfics once a week, people tend to be happy, though once a month can be a bit much for waiting, and then it's hard to stick with it even more.

Well that's good. ^^;
XD Oh fanfics can be tough. Updating often is always key but sometimes you can't and if the wait is long enough, you wanna make sure it's a good one. >__>' And then it's even harder to write something...

I don't mind editing my essay, it's really good so not much needs to be changed. And the peer who edited it didn't give much feedback so I have no idea what to tweak. >.<' So I can only change a few sentences, I wish the professor had given feedback instead because it looks like I didn't try.
While Mahea knew of the dangers, she didn't quite enjoy a stranger barging his way into their lives to point out the obvious. Yes, Ana was an adult and should practice her skills but Mahea detested the idea of war or conflict. In her mind, she had hoped that downplaying everything would somehow benefit Anabelle and keep her safe and out of harm's way, without clouding her mind with problems that weren't her own. He was right in worrying about the other side, that people might come after her, if they found out a healer with up for grabs. Of course the mother wouldn't let such a thing happen, it was those sorts of ideas that kept her up at night and she hoped to keep Anabelle at bay, neutral, for as long as possible.

Ana had looked between Kieran and her mother as they spoke about her and topic. It was annoying to be talked about when she was in the room but she knew her opinions didn't hold much weight since she knew so little about what they were talking about. Even so, she was able to get an idea of the situation at hand. "You're right." Mahea considered after he finished his speech. She looked toward her daughter who had kept quiet during this time, which wasn't a surprise. Anabelle did enjoy standing in the background and observing before she made any quick remarks, it was a favorable trait in a healer to enjoy peace and inner insight without causing a fuss. "However what she does now is up to her, I know I can't hold her hand any longer..."

"I am thankful for you protecting me. I'm sure it wasn't easy to keep such a big secret from me, you wanted me to have a normal life." Anabelle said, her temper finally cooling down. "I am so grateful for the risks you took on my behalf, I really am, mother." She said. "But there is a part of me I still don't know yet, a part of me that can do magic and help people in a way no one else can." She looked to Kieran. "I would like to know more about healing and everything else, I don't know if I'm ready for whatever is going on in a war..." She admitted. "But...I don't condone fighting and if I can help put an end to it, I'll try. I can't turn my back on people who need me, even if they don't know or care who I am." Anabelle sighed.

Mahea smiled softly, knowing her daughter wouldn't turn away from the war so easily. "I have only ventured back home once but I would love to go back, if my daughter is going." She spoke up. "I may be too old to fight but I can be of help and heal and protect elsewhere, while I let you young people handle the change that has to come." She wasn't eager to go but she did want to stay close to her daughter. It would be more beneficial for them both. And both worlds, in the end.

"Really?" Ana smiled a bit more, relieved to know she wouldn't be abandoning her mother. "Is that okay?" She asked Kieran.

As Devon ate, he thought about Kieran and what he could be up to. Finding a healer was a great feat, though they now had to take stock of everyone and everything that had. Even so, with the progress they were making, they still had a long way to go. He wondered if he could see further into Kieran's mind or if it would still be muddled. Devon probably had the best handle on his own skills, and then Kieran, but the other two pieces of their puzzle were probably less experienced and that was something that had to be taken into consideration. He wasn't fond of the idea of sending two people with little experience, in his mind, training would be needed.

Then again, he and Kieran couldn't assume leadership roles, they needed to all become a team, if they were the right people from Kieran's vision. After the food was consumed, they were approached as anyone would be, and asked if things had been good. He nodded and Rhys spoke up, offering her services. "I'd be happy to sweep up out here and wash up the tables if you'd like." He offered. It was something he usually offered, on one funny occasion, he was asked to babysit some kids for an hour. That had been an interesting trade but he didn't mind looking after the kids. But terms were usually negotiable, if he really hadn't felt comfortable, he could have been able to help out some other way.

As he moved around, he dusted around the tables and got everything cleaned up. Then he tended to the tables, washing and drying them off. It wasn't a lot to do but he often felt useful afterwards. He finished within ten minutes and didn't have to wait too long before he was joined by Rhys who finished in the back. "Hey." He said. "That's good. I've liked it too." Devon smiled. "We can check out more of the town and then find a place to stay, by the way, we'll have to pull our weight wherever we go so I'm glad you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty." He grinned and headed out. The city was decorated with red brick walls, grey cobblestone streets and wooden torches around the area. Most buildings weren't taller than three flights of stairs and many people were still out and about, despite the moon rising in the dark sky. "We can check out the library tomorrow." He said.

"Well I mean...if you want, you can check out some places on your own, of course." Devon corrected himself. "I should show you this before anything else though." He hurried back toward where they came from and headed for the center. The city was a square shape and surrounding the walls were green, golden, brown and red trees but inside the city, it seemed only white ones grew, gathering leaves from the other trees outside, it was odd but beautiful. And one of those famous white hybrids was at the center of the town.

Up above, they were covered by a collage of red, gold, green and brown leaves. "This is where power can really be boosted, we're studying why but for now...it's a funny mystery." He said.

I love Top Gear and funny thing is that I'm not a car nut

Secondly have you ever heard of the Rani?

Top Gear is awesome on all kinds of levels. I'm not a car nut either but those guys are fantastic.

And no I don't think I have.
I've been using a "round" system in my RPs for the past three or four years and it pretty much has no order of posting but ensures every player posts once and only once per round. So I would post and then everyone else in the RP would post at their leisure, once and only once. And after everyone has been accounted for, I start the round again so no one is left out. It does take more time but I was sick of people flaking or being left behind so this tends to ensure people are active and engaging one another so it doesn't become a fuckfest for two people or that someone ends up missing a big scene because of some personal issue offline. Sometimes a posting order can develop with this method but I don't encourage it because who needs that kind of pressure?
