Set during the fourth year.

I'll be Draco and Hermione. RozenTheFallen will be Ginny and Harry.

I can play Ron as well, or we can share the role as needed, depending on the scene.

Did we figure out about how much we'd be posting for each character.

I think we should probably start sometime in the beginning, possibly right before the names are pulled from the Goblet. We'll need to think of a way to push Ginny and Draco together since Harry and Hermione would probably be training for the upcoming tasks anyway. Did you want to play Ginny as more of a girl turning a bit bad, thus wanting to hang with Draco? Or would we want Draco to get close to her in order to get to Harry? I think both ideas could work, so it's not one sided.

Well with FernStone, we're doing partners/coworkers already, I'd hate to have the same dynamic there.

i think Phaylin would be into the four main elements of magic but I think she'd be more into runes as well as seeing if vocal spells have any effect on magic. Is that what you mean?

Beyond a Fire's Embers

It sounds like we have a good starting ground. One question I had to ask is that with the reaping, would we want Haymitch called and Katniss make Peeta promise beforehand to not volunteer? Or would we want Peeta reaped with Haymitch taking his place for Katniss? I think whichever way we go, would impact how Katniss' mind is going into the games. Either way, Katniss would feel rather responsible for picking between Peeta and Haymitch's safety unless we wanted to approach it another way and have Katniss and Haymitch plan to enter together, knowing he'd be more useful since we could give Peeta his leg injury or something like that? After writing it out, I think Katniss forcing Haymitch or Peeta to do something, would mess with the dynamic too much...

And I could edit the first post a bit for info about our general direction, Quarter Quell rules we decided, possible arena pictures and tricks, as we make them up.

I like the idea of something mild as an introduction. Or maybe go the complete opposite and just "BAM! Sixty-foot turtle-things carrying robot villages on their backs going to war with a planet-sized sky jellyfish".

I really like this one.

I recall a Hartnell episode of DW with a vaguely similar premise. It turned out to be a fantastic way to introduce a lot of interesting settings and quick sub-plots in a closely-knit way.

Coolio, I can get to figuring it out then, I wouldn't want it to be long or overly complex, it might require splitting up but I think I'd shy away from that unless another one came up further down the line with more characters and such.

I'm hoping as we go on though, more players have a say in what goes on, considering this is more a group collaboration. Once I get some missions and known planets up, I'm hoping people will come up with their own contributions as well.

Something introductory. Maybe a mild planet full of mild lifeforms that can get our characters to adjust to life in space, and maybe acquire some cool things along the way? Maybe a planet full of humanoid sentient reptiles? Like the ones from DW who live beneath Earth's surface? Or let's go watch a star implode :D
