As far the game itself, I thought you wanted the friends to connect around age 12? Then we'd skip along to any other milestones. I'd like to assume that the game could come out after they move away, otherwise it would be too easy to just find each other online intentionally so I'd say they may need to be newbies or around level 10, assuming the cap could be something insane like 999? Something massive where there's a wide range of experiences so that things don't get stale if you hit a cap or something?
EDIT - As a note, I'm about ready to post my CS, which I'll probably do in the first post of the OOC at the top. Did we settle on London (we didn't change it to Japan?)? And I'll probably keep it clean and minimal with just an appearance for her at the start (age 12 or so) and then at the real beginning of everything (age 24 is what we decided?). We still have some edges to smooth out but we're about ready to go I think.

Four friends from different Hogwarts Houses connected in their first year.
They bonded over their love of magic, the idea that they could create anything they could imagine. They had their share of fights and times where they grew apart due to school or drama. They still remained close enough to hang out during the breaks when school was out. They still remained close enough to support one another’s endeavors and give advice when it was warranted. These four friends have graduated Hogwarts and have found their own path to take. While they have written and visited, these connections are becoming more and sparser.
But an event is about to pull them back together.
Whether they reside in the Muggle or Magical World, things are changing for the worse. The economy is taking a dive and everyone is losing their job. The rate of homelessness is jumping while the rate of happiness is on the decline. People don’t know why their luck is taking a dive, it just seemed as though a gray cloud is hanging over the world, as if everything good is slowly fading away.
As people struggle to make ends meet, the crime rate begins to rise and the streets are becoming unsafe for even those who carry wands or muggle weapons.
These four friends cross paths one way or another and decide to get to the bottom of this negative mood which is beginning to suffocate the world. Little do they know that the one behind these emotional manipulations has a foot in both the Muggle and Wizarding World. Their gain is yet unknown but if something isn’t done soon, if someone doesn’t start to investigate these troubling times, society could be thrown into a black hole where rules and order are a thing of the past.
Some general guidelines for anyone interested would be that you shouldn’t sink into the typical expectations that the Houses established (ex: if you’re from Slytherin, you don’t have to be a sneaky evil back stabber). Yes, your character should fall into the House but it shouldn’t be the cliché that first pops into your head. Your character should be well balanced and also useful when it comes to mysteries. If they want to solve this puzzle, they need to be useful and bring something to the group. And one last thought, these are long lasting bonds we’ve established, it’s natural to grow apart and have things you dislike about another character, but this dynamic needs to be friendly to reflect the background they have shared.
So this will be a dark (not too dark) mystery set in the world of Harry Potter. If you’re wondering about a time or era, I’m not sure yet. I don’t really want it to be modern but it’s fine if that’s where the majority are comfortable. I don’t want to deal with canon roles or events so if this is set in the 1990s, Voldemort will pretty much be taken out of the world. He’s got nothing to do with this.
Anyone up for this? Obviously three slots are open, I'll take whatever is up for grabs I suppose. If someone happens to like doubling, I can turn this into a one on one pretty easily.

Didn't think I'd be the one to start but okay I'll get something up.
Substituting "tamers" for "flyers" would be good, they could have a choice of say a small dragon (because hey, that can get out of hand unless if your pet turns on you, it's now a sudden Boss >___> Awkward) or fish or something useful within reason. And then "riders" could have either a bike (I'd refer to Haseo in G.U but you haven't played it) or maybe some hoverboard.
I do think the weaponry for the Mechanics should be more laser/plasma/sleek/hyper ish. Like with more updates than just guns. But we'll see what happens. As far as character creation goes, I have pictures/ideas for either a Mechanic or a Mythic.
It'll be hard to choose but they'll probably have bits of both down the line so I guess it just depends on what we want a bit more focus in. Would you rather a Mechanic since you're more knowledgeable with tech?

I've seen fanfics for them, I have yet to click because I think my mind makes some interesting images without the use of prose. Those three guys are absolute gods. And of course the Stig is probably one of the best things I've ever been introduced to.

No problem, I had to head off to dentist and after that I was incapacitated for a bit but now the week is over and I'm back to my senses, midterm over and conquered~!

Her father died when she was just a baby and her mother hasn't found a man to settle down with since. Rose and Jackie are content together and are often found in the company of Rose's casual boyfriend, Mickey. Rose and Mickey go back a long way but they haven't done anything too serious, they tend to keep their relationship carefree and light. Rose worked as a shop girl, tending to customers, ringing up sales and sorting clothes.
In her spare time, she and her co-workers bought lottery tickets in hopes of winning it big and not having to work anymore.
Rose is a kind individual but has lacked real ambition to do anything new to her life. She likes things that don't change. She has a routine set and doesn't mind just going through the ups and downs on life. She hasn't yet found her passion. This all changed when she met a man called the Doctor while she finished up her shift at work. Before she knew what had happened, the whole rooftop exploded and she had to figure out where she could work despite having a lackluster resume.
The following day, she ran into the Doctor once more and something sparked inside of her. She was determined to learn more about the mysterious man so she followed him and was told about a whole other world outside of her tiny bubble.
The two ended up crossing paths for a third time in which he saved her from the Plastics. She was then shown his Time And Relative Dimension In Space but before she could even soak up the new insights and possibilities, they had to finish saving the world from the Plastics. Rose was glad to see Mickey was still safe from harm and while he wanted to get as far as away as possible, the blond couldn't just leave the Doctor behind. So she thought on her feet and jumped into the fray, quite literally, to save him. Once it had ended, Rose was given an offer to travel with the alien.
She knew Mickey would need her, so despite having no real plan, she turned the Doctor down who vanished right in front of her.
But less than a minute later, he returned to her and gave her another chance and this time she decided to take it. She kissed Mickey goodbye and hurried into the TARDIS. The two ended up seeing the Earth explode, then they met Charles Dickens and then went back to London to save the world from aliens. And then they discovered and fought a long time enemy of the Time Lords and got another companion named Adam. Adam went with them to a space station which was cheating and lying to those who worked for it but Adam ended up betraying Rose and the Doctor so they dropped him off back home. Then they went back to see her father, who Rose attempted to save but ultimately lost again. And now they're back to traveling through time and space together, with Rose discovering that she feels more alive in space, than she ever did in her small flat back on Earth.
