I've heard it too, which makes me very happy.

I just think she's taken several steps backward. And now there's weird flirting with 12 and Clara even though it was said there wouldn't be any of that. I know it's not outright flirting per say but the fact that he denied any romantic feelings in episode one (of this series) and now gets in the way of her dates, is confusing for me as a viewer. I'd understand him being protective like a friend or father (ehhhh) but his jealousy seems odd. Not to mention you'd think he'd make the connection with Pink, as well as figure out where she went during Listen in both instances. I did like him being more firm with her, not letting her stick around in dangerous situations but...she's getting in the way of me enjoying 12 I think. And to have someone dress like 11 in the recent episode was kind of stupid and hurts me since I'm enjoying 12 so much, I don't need to be reminded of previous regenerations so soon...
I finally caught up on the episodes. :3

Still hating Clara but I'm pretty sure 12's favorite word is "probably" lol
I actually just watched the latest six episodes that have been sitting in my DVR for like over a month.

God, I hate Clara...but I am happy I caught up finally. The name Courtney did ring a bell for me so I'm glad you elaborated there, Kaga. I'd say Time Heist was a good episode, reminded me a bit Blink. I still dislike how Clara handles tough situations and the Doctor in general since it's clear he's still going through some stuff and then her dig at PTSD when she met Danny for the first time was annoying. And I'm not pleased with her going back during Listen but I won't say anything else there, in case it's a spoiler...but I'm getting sick of her "special" traits and adventures. I think the idea of Promised Land will come into play though when I saw the crack inside the Dalek in Into the Dalek, I thought back to Amy and Eleven for a moment...I think the man at the end of The Caretaker was in the same place though, I had thought it could change or suit each person's needs differently and when he looked out the window, he saw something more similar to what we'd been shown previously.

Anywho just some thoughts.
If you're open to play Nine against my OC, I could play Ten against yours. I assume your OC may be male (which is fine with me, could be a nice change from ditzy female OCs to be honest, not that guys aren't ditzy too...) though mine would likely be female, but hey male could be another interesting thing. *shrugs* I'd also be curious about a post sample from you since I haven't been able to see anything you've done in an IC section.
The first person to raise a question was someone who had yet to introduce themselves but Qyx answered her question regardless of identity. "Oh no, everything inside will remain as it, no matter the gravity of other planets or space itself. Of course if you'd like to try your hand at moving around in a purely weightless situation, it would be possible to find a room that could accommodate you safely for say, fun." She replied, trying to keep her words. Then she turned to the next person, a male who called himself Nathan. He seemed interested in mathematics though she wasn't quite certain what he meant by mastering some sort of degree. It was evident that her knowledge of Earth speech and word patterns had some holes. "Oh..." Her confident faded momentarily when he asked about whether or not something was out to get them. Someone was quick to speak up and for some reason the word 'brotato chip' made her laugh slightly.

What did it mean? She wasn't sure but it tickled her ears.

The person with the plant continued on and gave his funny introduction. Qyx smiled to Maverick and could tell her was happy to be aboard The Connection. Her worries were once again, evaporated. "Thank you for your company." She said to him before looking back to Nathan. "I wish I could provide," She paused to address the word she used. It seemed correct. "a more reassuring answer for you but I honestly do not know about what is lurking in the darkness. There are so many things to discover and...unconer. The unknown should be seen as beautiful, not poten...potentially harmless." Qyx told Nathan, danger was everywhere as Maverick had mentioned but she couldn't further her studies if she worried about everyone alongside her. She hoped those who braved followed her, weren't already regretting their decision.

Next attention turned toward a woman who had taken a seat. Her mannerisms were very odd and made Qyx rather uncertain as to whether or not the female was alright or in some medical distress and needed assistance. "Nichelle?" She questioned and looked toward the others, wondering if such a name was normal for humans to give one another. "It's very good to meet you." Qyx said and looked toward those who still had yet to speak up. Since it appeared that those who could, had spoken up, she decided it was time to make some drinks. Maybe that would help everyone mingle together. "If you are curious about other worldly cuisine, you're happy to take a look." She said though her gaze was on Devon, the one with the accent who seemed interested in cooking as well as food itself. Qyx strolled over to the bar and began snagging various bottles off the shelf.

As she began mixing liquids, Devon glanced toward the bloke with the weed.

Did Qyx know what it was or did she just not care?

Jennifer looked over to the strange girl on the couch who was having a bit of a crisis but she hesitated to approach her for now so instead, Jen turned to Nathan. "Where did you study?" She asked him, curious as to befriend another lover of numbers and exploration. She understood his reservation when it came not knowing if some massive aliens were lurking, waiting for food, but she hoped he would learn to think in another light, a brighter one. Devon slowly migrated to where Qyx was making drinks though he was still a bit peckish but felt weird about asking for food, unlike Maverick.

"Do you need any help?" He asked Qyx as she poured a purple/orange liquid into small glasses which would normally house Port or other after dinner drinks.

"No thank you, Devon." She replied, trying to remember everyone's names. She looked up and smiled at him and he stepped back, surprised by their eyes locking so suddenly. "You're free to experiment." She added as she handed him the tray. He just nodded and went back to everyone. When he turned back to Qyx, she was gone. He looked around the massive observatory but didn't see her anywhere. He wondered if there were trap doors that he should be aware of. He shrugged and went back to the others and handed out drinks to those interested in them. He set the silver tray down and picked up a round glass and smelled its contents. It was fruity but fresh, not cloyingly sweet like some drinks. Devon took a sip and found it delicate and tasted like something he had never had before. He smelled it again and took another drink, intrigued. The drink was light and had flavors of sourness, sweetness and aromas he couldn't figure out.

Clearly this was made of non-Earthly ingredients and it excited him.

Jennifer was less slow to taste hers, she took a large swig and swallowed it, pleased to feel her body already more energetic and reactive. Jen took another drink and smiled. Whatever it was, she liked it. "This very good!" She exclaimed, hoping to say thanks to Qyx but then noticed she wasn't around. "Qyx?" She looked around and frowned, not sure what to think of the vanishing act. Just then Qyx came from another direction, holding another tray but from the looks of it, it was food, rather than another round of drinks. "Where'd you go?" She asked.

Devon kept quiet, though interested too.

"I went to get these." She answered plainly and showed them some oddly shaped things which could be compared to bars or cookies. They were all different shapes, not at all uniform. They were dark brown with specks of lighter brown on top. Devon wondered if it was chocolate but something told him it probably wasn't. Of course the way they had been conditional might make eating weird things hard but he picked up one that was the odd shape of a pentagon while Jennifer snagged a triangle one. He took a small bite and chewed. It wasn't chocolate exactly but it almost was. It had something crunchy like a nut and it tasted like a mixture of chocolate, coffee and something else to marry the earthy and sweet tones together. Qyx took a round one for herself, in her free hand. It was nerve-wrecking for her to introduce them to new things but so far, no one was objecting to what she had picked. "I hope they're to your liking, though everyone has different tastes and ideas of enjoyment."

"No no, don't worry." Devon tried to assure her as he finished his. "We're not here expecting things we know and eat every day." He pointed out and glanced to the others.

"Well said." Jen agreed and Qyx smiled brightly.

"Look." Qyx then looked up and now clouds of space dust, stars and planets came into clear view. They were now beyond Earth and its solar system. Her heart always jumped at the sight of such vast wild landscapes. "So many colors and lights, without the dark empty space, we wouldn't be able to see such fantastic views."
I feel bad. >.<

At any rate, my post is almost done! Which means less guilt. I mean we can move on and I can finally make some progress here!

Hopefully the others are still around.
Got it.
Oh goodness! That cheered me up! Gotta love the tricksters!

I'm so sorry for being so fucking slow with my post but as I professed my shame and disgrace to my other group, I'll do the same since you're all too polite to yell at me. But I swear, a post is coming and it'll be here before winter in Westeros!

But yay for Penn & Teller...gosh they look like they're going to Prom together...like they had no one else to even go with...XD
Look! I'm so apologetic it's there twice to highlight my shame!

I've been bogged down by a writing contest. I'm sorry. I am.

It's been a few days of failed writing (picture me chugging soda, popping adderal pills and trying to work but not doing a lot and thus karate chopping my laptop) and I've also been tasked to help our family move, pack boxes, etc so I had to deal with that mess for the past two or three days. It's a slow process of manual labor since my brothers are MIA.

But I swear on...on my love of the Ninth Doctor there is a post coming tonight. This and my other group need mega 'moving along' posts. I'm sorry, that's all I can say as I finish my post. I know I need to, yeah. You guys keep the OOC alive though, I can't talk to myself or I'll get even more crazier. >_>
